According to Reports, Child Was Starved for Throwing Tantrums
25 Feb. 2026: In a truly sickening display of cruelty, a 27-year-old Indiana man was given 30 years in prison for starving his 7-year-old son. His girlfriend, age 21 was given 30 years as well.
Kevin Gavarrete, the father of Kayden Gavarrete and Kevin’s girlfriend, Julia Sizemore subjected the boy to starvation, torture and beatings, allegedly right before Christmas in 2024. The reason for the torture and abuse was because the boy threw tantrums.
This began in December of 2022, when police responded to the 1300 block of South Pershing Avenue regarding a possible death by starvation. Upon arrival, police found the 7-year-old unresponsive in the bathroom. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said after the hearing,
“As the father of the child who was the same age as Kayden, it’s gut wrenching. This resolution ensures both defendants will spend decades in prison, and provides certainty for Kayden’s family.”
A Scene Repeated Many Times in America, and Predicted In the Bible
First of all, let me say this is completely disgusting behavior by two supposed adults who should have put their selfishness aside when they became adults. They acted like high school bullies instead of a responsible parent in Kevin’s case and a responsible adult in Julia’s case. This child’s ‘tantrums’ were no doubt the only way he knew to let someone know that he was hungry, frightened, and alone. At 7 years of age, he hadn’t developed the ability to explain his feelings in a rational way. So more abuse triggers more tantrums and more tantrums triggers more abuse.
These people are exactly what the Bible talks about in Romans 1:28: a reprobate (depraved) mind. Talk about a sign of the end times! Look around us; we have politicians that behave like spoiled brats. Instead of trying to work out differences like adults, they boycott the State of the Union Address. They attack members of ICE, the call for the complete disregarding of laws. The nation quite literally, has gone insane.
This is what happens when a person turns their back on God. He doesn’t want anyone to perish, and therefore gives them every opportunity to realize their need for repentance. However, there is a literally enemy who is evil personified, and that is Satan. And once God has tried and tried to get a person’s attention, God must step back and let that person be responsible for their own actions. Satan doesn’t have any such moral qualms, so he quickly steps in and twists a person’s thinking actions and frame of mind.
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. – Romans 1:28-32 NASB
Who among you can read this passage, and not see it actively at work in America today? No one. This is the description of the average American city today. And the Bible says it’s this way because people have turned their backs on God.

25 Feb. 2026: Early Monday morning, February 23rd, a horrific attack shattered the quiet suburbs of Persimmon Circle in Fairfax County. A young man clearing snow from his car heard a commotion coming from his apartment and calls 9-11. At the same time, another resident called 9-11.
In what Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis called a ‘bloodbath’, officers arrive to find a gruesome scene. 50-year-old Chhatra Bahadur Thapa* attacked his wife, 51-year-old Binda Thapa*, and his 31-year-old daughter, Mamata Thapa*. The weapon is a large, curved knife often used in agricultural settings; something commonly used in slaughterhouses. According to news reports Chhatra Thapa then attacked his 35-year-old son-in-law Santosh Kumar Basnet*, who remains in critical condition in a local hospital.
A one-year-old boy, son of Mamata and Santosh*, was unharmed in the attack. When the attacker was confronted by police, he refused to comply with orders to drop his weapon. In fact, he continued attacking his son-in-law. Police then fired their weapons, killing the suspect. While no official motive has been given, this quote from the Kathmandu Post attributes recent mental health problems:
It is understood that Thapa had been undergoing treatment for mental health-related problems and had been taking medication for a prolonged period. – Kathmandu Post*
Meanwhile, Local Police Haven’t Released This Information
As of the time of this writing, the Fairfax County Police Fairfax County Police have not yet released the names, even though international outlets have already published them. The Kathmandu Post claims to have received their information from Fairfax, but here in America they continue to await notification for the next of kin.
According to the Post, the family were here in America legally. In fact, family members told the Post that Thapa had “received his permanent residency card on November 12, 2025, and had been living at his daughter’s home. He was originally from Belaka Municipality in Udayapur district.”*
The Bible Foretells of Such Troublesome Times
Events like this force us to confront not only the tragedy itself but the deeper spiritual condition of our age. This is a truly horrible story; to be frank it sounds more like a plot for a horror movie rather than an accurate description of the events told by the police. But such is the times we live in. It might be a very long time before we know what the point of no return was: When Chhatra Thapa made that fateful decision to attack his own family. But we do know that the Bible gives us several warnings about the last days.
First of all, the Bible says that in the last days will be times of extreme stress and anxiety. One Scripture in particular says ‘men’s hearts failing them for fear’. For years, Scholars have translated this as primarily referring to heart attacks, but I ask you: What can be more descriptive of what Thapa experienced? Under normal circumstances, a man would give his life to protect his family. But for whatever reason, his love for his family turned into anger and violence.
Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. – Luke 21:26 KJV
The Bible gives us two instances that tell us that the love of many will grow cold. Again, we don’t know the mind of Thapa and never will, but these are indications of the mindset of people in the last days:
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. – Matthew 24:12 KJV
Without natural affection – 2 Timothy 3:3 KJV
In Conclusion:
The time in which we live in has become perilous indeed. A time when we frequently see women who kill their children, men who kill their families, people who kill complete strangers for no reason, other than to act out the actions of others. We see people who are willing to take the life of another for any and every reason. People are shot and killed over miniscule amounts of money. Road rage incidents more frequently end in death.
In the Bible, there is a verse I remember whenever I hear of an incident like this:
BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]. – 2 Timothy 3:1 AMP
But you don’t have to be this way, my friend. There is a solution: If you find yourself in need of peace within your heart, I know a solution. This is a real solution: A very real God has made a way for you to be reconciled to him. He can give you a peace, something the Bible calls “a peace that passes all understanding”. You may indeed not understand why your heart is so calm and peaceful in the face of such anxiety we see outside our front doors. But you’ll know it’s real.
You see, at one time you were separated from God because of your sin. Holy cannot reside in the presence of sin. And so, God had to separate himself from his very own creation. But he sent his only begotten son, Jesus, to the earth to be the sacrifice required to cover sin. And at the moment of the death of Jesus on the cross, the Bible tells us that the veil in the temple separating the holy of holies from the rest of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. This was because sin had been atoned for, and God didn’t have to be separate from his creation.
But you have a free will; you have to choose to receive this forgiveness. God is not going to force you to go to heaven and spend eternity with him. So, while the sacrifice for sin is complete, it will not be finalized in your life until you accept it. Why live in misery any longer? Why worry about the events taking place in the world? Those events are trying to get your attention! God told us in advance what would happen in the last days, so when we saw those things, we would know his salvation is real!
Stop ignoring the obvious: Humble yourself, acknowledge your need for forgiveness and yield to the inevitable. God is about to return, and he is doing everything in his power to get your attention before it’s too late.
Getting saved is easy. You don’t need a church, an altar nor do you need a long winded, ‘repeat after me’ prayer. All you need is a little humility, a measure of faith, and a confession.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. – Romans 10:9-10 NLT

24 Feb. 2026: Personal Note: I don’t cover Christian persecution that often. Not because I don’t believe it is an important topic, but because I am very protective of Christians and I get very angry when I have to write about stories like this. But this story in particular shows the complete ignorance and lack of any common sense or logic. As you will see in this story, this person is not guilty of breaking an actual law, but a law is being twisted in order to persecute a Christian.
Barry Neufeld is the former Chilliwack, British Columbia school board trustee whose case has drawn national and international attention because of the $750,000 penalty imposed on him for comments expressing his belief that there are only two sexes. The situation is complex, and the reporting varies in emphasis, so it helps to break it down clearly.
Neufeld was ordered by the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal to pay $750,000 to LGBTQ‑identified teachers and staff in his district. The tribunal concluded that his public statements over several years—primarily criticizing the province’s SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) curriculum—constituted discriminatory publications and hate speech under the B.C. Human Rights Code.
What Neufeld Actually Said:
Neufeld’s public comments began in 2017, when he criticized the SOGI curriculum on Facebook, arguing that:
- Gender is biologically determined, not a social construct
- Allowing children to change gender is “nothing short of child abuse,” citing the American College of Pediatricians
- The curriculum was promoting “gender confusion”
He also framed his views in explicitly Christian terms, referencing Genesis 1:27 and stating his belief that God created humans “male and female.”
“Professing themselves to be wise, they have become fools” – Romans 1:22
What utter foolishness! We know that for years Canada has become more and more liberal, and the idea of religion in any form cannot exist in a socialist system. In a liberal/democrat/socialist system, the citizen must depend entirely on the state. There can be nothing to give a person hope other than the reward they receive from the government for their loyalty.
This is a Christian man trying to insert some common sense back into a system that has gone completely off the rails. There are only two genders: God created us male and female; he didn’t make any mistakes, nor did he confuse anyone from birth. This goes back to one of the oldest deceptions Satan has brought upon man, the idea that “If you believe it, then it’s true”.
Satan has used this mindset for centuries; the idea that man can make his own path to God, that one religion is just as good as another. The idea that as long as a religion promotes love, that is all that matters. And over the centuries that idea has been taken to extremes; from high priests and priestesses who have claimed to have ‘evolved’ into the representations of the gods they worship.
And in this day and age, nothing has changed. The complete foolishness of the idea if a man somehow believes he’s actually a woman, then it is up to the rest of us to respect this fantasy and begin actually referring to him as a she. People who actually believe that on different days they are different genders and on other days they have no gender at all. It has even gotten to the point where some people adopt the heritage of a people, they have no identity with whatsoever. A white person can identify as black and vice-versa. I myself watched a video where an obviously white female claimed to be an ‘indigenous’ person, during a traffic stop.
Some people now believe themselves to actually be animals, wearing garments made of fur (fake of course), with tails; they call themselves ‘furies‘. What kind of insanity is this? The very type of insanity that Tim Walz claimed when he decided that the boy’s bathroom in Minnesota schools needed tampon dispensers. The same type of insanity that makes a medical doctor refuse to answer a simple question: “Can a man become pregnant?”. This is not an ‘enlightened’ point of view. This is the complete and utter nonsense.

Children being taken away from their parents because they have this idea that somehow, maybe they’re really another gender on the inside.
How is it that we demand a person reach the age of 18 before they’re allow to engage in sexual activity; they have to wait until a full 21 before drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco. But as young as 10 and 12-years-old, they can make a decision that is going to affect them for the rest of their lives. Now thousands of these would-be transitioners are taking to social media and YouTube to tell their harrowing stories. But are the liberals listening? NO. A huge thunderous silence from these liberal groups and politicians that claim to ‘humanitarians’. They are evil.
These ‘De-Transitioners’ often tell a story of being pressured and confused about their next steps. They are given medications that in the majority of cases cause permanent damage and often de-transitioners spend years healing from all the damage done to their bodies.
If You Believe it, Then It’s True
Absolutely one of the most poisonous ideas on the face of the earth. Through that one line, more people have gone to hell than any other reason. And when this idea is embraced as a philosophy, we have the things we are seeing right now. When a group of people declare that there are no moral absolutes. That the end justifies the means, that whatever feels right, do it. This is a recipe for disaster. The breeding ground for false religion.
And this is Bible prophecy coming to pass twice over. The fact that Mr. Neufeld is being targeted by a liberal, left-wing government that despises Christianity and anything that demands holy living.

This, believe it or not, isn’t bad news. The ignorance of the Canadian government knows no bounds. But one of the best things that can ever happen to a Christian is that they suffer persecution for their faith. The Bible says that those who are persecuted are counted worthy to suffer for the name of Jesus. No greater honor do I know of than as a Christian to be counted worthy of persecution for Jesus’ sake.
40 and when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name. Acts 5:40-41

U.S Senator Accuses Democrats of Trying to Stop Immigration Enforcement Laws
Sen. Ashley Moody, R-Fla. Criticizes Democrats Stance on Immigration
Since the President took office, the Democrat party has resisted the deportation of illegal aliens. This has quickly escalated to one of the most polarized issues in the country. Democrats have often sided with illegal immigrants in this country to the point of preferring benefits and services go to them instead of American citizens. This has led to some ‘blue’ states passing laws limiting cooperation with ICE.
Republican Senator Ashley Moody has been one of the loudest voices criticizing Democrat-led states and cities for limiting cooperation with ICE. She was appointed to the Senate on January 21, 2025, by Governor Ron DeSantis after Marco Rubio resigned. When she was Attorney General of Florida, she sued the Biden administration over immigration enforcement.
“The last four years, we have seen the Biden administration ignore the rule of law, destroy any semblance of order at our Southwest border, allow millions of unvetted illegal immigrants into the country and put the safety of Americans at risk.” – Then Attorney General Ashley Moody, in a January 2025 statement.
“Right now, we are watching disorder and chaos spread through California. This bill will ensure that our local, state and federal law enforcement have the resources they need to hold those who break the law accountable. This lawlessness will not be tolerated.” – Sen. Ashley Moody (R-Fla.)
What This Has to do With Bible Prophecy
This is one of the strongest signs we can look at when it comes to Bible prophecy being fulfilled in the world. This trend toward rebellion and lawlessness. Any person in the United States of America has the freedom to openly criticize the government and its policies. Any person has the right to peacefully protest; a right to attempt to change laws they’re unhappy with, either through petitions, protests, redress of grievance (going to lawmakers and expressing their unhappiness with a particular law). They can even decide to run for political office in an attempt to change a law or policy they are opposing.
But the one thing no American has the right to do is disobey a law! They have no right to rebel against authority, nor refuse to comply with a law. This kind of activity is strictly and plainly forbidden by the Bible, and obviously in disobedience to the law. To fail to follow a law is to obstruct it.
1 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. 4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. 5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.
6 Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority. – Romans 13:1-7 NLT
It never ceases to amaze me that Christians will gladly point out Scripture when it supports their arguments but ignore Scripture that doesn’t fit into their preconceived notions. The Bible gives us unquestionable instructions about obeying the law regardless of our personal feelings about the law. And it is equally important to point out this applies to all of us, regardless of our religious beliefs. The sinner, the democrat, the Muslim, any and all of us are to submit to our government and go through legal measures to change the things we don’t like.
But the most important thing to keep in mind is that Jesus himself gave us a clear, strong analogy to what the last days will be like:
37 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 38 In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. 39 People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes. – Matthew 24:37-39 NLT
Jesus says it will be like what is in Noah’s day.
5 The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. 6 So the LORD was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. 7 And the LORD said, “I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth.” – Genesis 6:5-7 NLT
11 Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. 12 God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt. 13 So God said to Noah, “I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!” – Genesis 6:11-13 NLT
Few people take time to understand what it was like in the days of Noah, even though Jesus is telling us to look at the days of Noah in order to get a glimpse of what the end times will be. During the days of Noah, the first thing we see is the world is obsessed with evil. Every thought and every imagination was evil. Is that not what we see in the world? Evil is well disguised!
Evil is refusing to obey laws; evil is rebelling against authority. Every time you see a group of protestors blocking streets, vandalizing property, engaging in riots, and attacking ICE officers, those are acts of evil in the eyes of God. Evil is refusing to comply with laws, refusing to obey the leaders. Evil is college students who refuse to obey their deans and their chancellors, councilors, and other authorities.
These are not “Democrat” vs “Republican”, liberal vs. conservative. This is right versus wrong; this is good versus evil. This is the difference between using peaceful means to change laws you disagree with, while living within the guidelines of the law. And for the Democrat party, their actions are not in the least bit noble, or righteous. Their actions are in opposition to God.

This Earthquake is Part of the Pacific Ring
22 Feb. 2025: A deep, powerful magnitude‑7.1 earthquake struck off the coast of eastern Malaysia. The quake his just after midnight local time (12:57 am). The Geological Survey placed the epicenter lass than 100km northeast of Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah on the island of Borneo. The defining feature of the quake is its extraordinary depth: 619.8 km (384.9 miles deep).
Why This One is Notable
Even though it caused no damage, several aspects stand out:
- Magnitude above 7.0 is always significant.
- Depth over 600 km is rare and places it among the deepest quakes globally.
- Felt across multiple Malaysian states, despite the depth.
- No tsunami threat, which is unusual for a quake this strong but expected at this depth.
This Time is Coming to a Close
As we wait expectantly for the soon return of Christ, we can see things culminating into a series of signs painting a picture of a world in chaos. Let’s face it, there is little hope in the world for those that don’t know Christ. On the one hand we have a group of people who are terrified; they are looking for anything and everything to save them. From UFO’s to government leaders to somehow pull a rabbit out of their hat and save the world.
But not those who depend in Jesus. They are rejoicing and eagerly anticipating the soon return of their Lord. And this is exactly the way the Bible says it will be in the last days:
25 “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26 people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. – Luke 21:25-26 ESV
It is obvious that the last of the last days are upon us. Bible prophecy is coming to pass all around us. But the chilling thing about this passage of Scripture is what is in the very next verse:
27 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” – Luke 21:27-28 ESV
I always get a chill when I read this passage. “And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place…” Not when they’ve been happening for years and years, but when they begin to take place. When we begin to see signs in the sun, moon and the stars, when we begin to see distress of nations in perplexity, because of the roaring of the sea and waves.” That is the time to look up and watch for the soon return of Jesus. These things are happening now.

The World Seems to be Getting Ready to Fulfill Revelation’s Prophecies
21 Feb. 2026: Once again, the news media is focusing their attention on the Pacific Rim, sometimes called the “Ring of Fire”. It is so named because it is a huge epicenter that surrounds the Pacific Ocean, Connecting a large part of the world in the process. Some argue that the Pacific Rim is the most dangerous tectonic zone on earth, where constant earthquakes and volcanic eruptions reshape the coastlines, threaten major cities, and remind us how unstable the planet really is. And according to some, recent seismic clusters are part of a larger pattern of global geological unrest.
For years, scientists have assured us that there is no increase in seismic activity worldwide. Now, seismic activity has grown to the point where there can be little doubt of the increased instances of earthquakes, volcanic activity and eruptions.
What is the Ring of Fire?
The Ring of Fire is a 25,000-mile-long horseshoe shaped chain of subduction zones, megathrust faults, volcanic arcs and deep ocean trenches. It accounts for 75% of earth’s active volcanoes AND 90% of its earthquakes. This area is not just active; it is hyperactive comparted to the rest of the planet. The trenches and faults, each hotspot affects different places on earth, in different ways:
- Japan — frequent large quakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions
- Kamchatka & Kurils — some of the world’s most explosive volcanoes
- Alaska & Aleutians — powerful megathrust quakes and volcanic chains
- Cascadia (Pacific Northwest) — a silent, locked fault capable of a magnitude 9+
- California — San Andreas and related faults
- Mexico & Central America — subduction-driven quakes and eruptions
- Chile & Peru — home to some of the largest quakes ever recorded
- Indonesia & Philippines — extremely active volcanic arcs
- New Zealand — Alpine Fault and Taupō volcanic zone
Each segment is part of a single, interconnected tectonic system.
The Pacific Rim’s Significance to the Bible
As an interconnected system, the Pacific Rim could do what long thought was highly unlikely to near impossible: trigger a worldwide earthquake. The way the Rim has of connecting all these systems into one single tectonic system could make a chain reaction earthquake occur nearly all over the world in one single event.
In the book of Revelation, Jesus opens the sixth seal: this triggers a worldwide earthquake, and something known as “The Wrath of the Lamb”. Up to just a few months ago, the sixth seal was seen as something largely symbolic and difficult to foretell with any accuracy. However, with the uptick in activity in the Pacific Rim, what once thought was symbolic imagery is now seen as a literal translation of an end time event, centered around the Pacific Rim:
12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. 14 The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

It’s easy to see why at one time, this was considered highly symbolic. In recent years, however, it has become easy to how this could occur in a literal sense. “There was a great earthquake”. Imagine an earthquake that begins to open the Pacific Rim like a huge zipper, faults, trigger nearby faults and these things take advantage of the interconnectivity of the entire Pacific Rim.
The sun became as black as sackcloth. During multiple volcanic eruptions a tremendous amount of smoke, ash and debris gets launched into the upper atmosphere. When Mt. St. Helens erupted in 1980, those who were surprised and caught inside the exclusion zone, describe pitch black darkness, the sun was completely blotted out of the sky.
…and the stars of the sky fell to the earth. It is important here to point out that the Apostle John was not given a narrative; he was simply describing what he was seeing in that moment. To John, it appeared that the stars of the sky were falling to earth. However, there is a phenomenon known as ‘Lava Bombs’. These are literally clumps of melted rock, that is clinging together and getting launched hundreds of feet into the air. Their heat glows like a red or white hot bright, ‘miniature star’ that falls back to earth.

Bird Flu Resists Human Defenses
17 Feb. 2026: Scientists are calling Bird Flu ‘Worrying’. Humans have several natural defense mechanisms when it comes to fighting off disease, but one of the most common ways is fever. This ability to raise the body’s temperature in order to fight off disease by making it harder for viruses to replicate and cause severe disease.
But new research from the University of Cambridge in the UK, has doctors and researchers alike concerned. According to the University, human flu virus typically stays in the upper respiratory tract and the temperature there is usually around 91° F (33° Celsius). a fever can rise to nearly 106° (41C), slowing the spread of the virus until antibodies can be created to eliminate the virus.
However, Bird Flu normal resides in the lower respiratory tract and even in the gut, where temperatures are normally between 104° and 108°, which is higher than human fevers can even obtain. According to the report when bird flu virus strains were introduced to mice, and they were kept at a temperature similar to a human fever, the bird flu virus was able to replicate normally.
The main concern is that should the Bird Flu virus ever develop the ability to transfer between humans, this could result in a very aggressive flu that could spread in such a way as the Covid-19 pandemic.
Foretold in the Bible
The Bible tells us in the last days, times will be terrifying to those who don’t know the Lord Jesus. It describes a situation where people are afraid to even go about their daily lives. The Bible goes as far as saying people will commit suicide rather than face the complexities of daily life. Suicide accounts for more than one in every 100 deaths globally and remains a leading cause of death, especially among young people. And some people believe these statistics are underreported, due to ‘copycat’ fears and the fact that some suicides are mistakenly coded as accidental deaths. Estimates are that 15-20% of suicides are underreported on average.

Deadly Shooting at Ice Rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Shooting Reported to be Targeted, Family-Related Incident
16 Feb. 2026: A shooting took place at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, during a high school hockey game on Monday afternoon. Police identified the suspect as Robert Dorgan, age 56, who also used the name Roberta Esposito. Authorities noted that this was the name the individual went by, but they have not publicly framed the case around gender identity beyond that factual detail.
A total of five victims including two victims killed (both adults), three additional victims were critically injured. The shooter apparently took his own life.
What motivated it
Police say it appears to have been a family dispute. Some reporting indicates the shooter targeted family members and possibly a family friend. Investigators are still piecing together the exact relationships and sequence of events.
While some details are still unclear, at the time of this article, the suspect shot his wife, another adult female who was related to the family, and they are both dead. The three victims in critical condition are reportedly the children of the suspect.
Without Natural Affection
Robert Dorgan, a 56-year-old man, sometimes used the name Roberta Exposito. Whether this was some sort of trans individual or simply someone who engaged in cross-dressing was noted by not explained in detail. While we may never know the exact motivation for this senseless crime, we do know for sure that just as the Bible says, in the last days people will be without natural affection.

There was a time when a mother would give her life to protect a child; a father would give his life in order to protect his family. But in these last days, too many times we see mothers who kill their children, and just as in this case, men killing their entire families before turning the gun on themselves. This senseless violence is yet one more incident indicating the soon return of Jesus.

College Shooting Leaves 2 Dead and Another Injured
South Carolina State University is the State’s Only Public HBU
13 Feb. 2026: Violence erupted Thursday night at South Carolina State University, the state’s only public Historically Black University, which originally opened in 1896. This is the second shooting to occur at the college in four months. The shooting reportedly occurred at Hugine Suites student residential complex. Three males were shot, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
One victim died at the scene, and another died at the hospital. At the time of this article, no names have been released. Also there is no word on the condition of the survivor.
The Love of Many Has Grown Cold
The Bible tells us in detail of the hatred and violence that will overtake the final generation. In Matthew chapter 24, Jesus tells us of the violence and sin that will be prevalent at the end of this present age:
Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. – Matthew 24:12 NLT
The real passage however that expresses the times we live in to the letter, is Paul’s 2nd letter to Timothy. In this passage Paul writes to Timothy about the last days, and this narrative sounds like a description that could accurately describe most any city in America:
1 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. – 2 Timothy 3:1-4 NLT
It is obvious the times we are living in are not sustainable. How can a nation, or group of nation survive when citizens are killing one another? What better example does one need of the love growing cold? Modern society has convinced people that they don’t have to be accountable for their actions. Arguments over the most trivial issues now erupt into violence, and in a culture that celebrates victimhood, few are willing to simply accept that bad things happen in a fallen world. Instead of owning their choices, many embrace the idea that no one is ever truly to blame. This mindset is exactly what God warned us about, and we are now seeing it fulfilled to the letter. And it all begins when a person — or a nation — turns its back on God.
28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. – Romans 1:28-32 NLT
How could this be any more clear? I don’t think this needs any explanation or interpretation: God will abandon people to their foolish thinking once they have determined not to acknowledge him. Their lives become full of every type of evil imaginable, from the murder of unborn babies, to attempting to overthrow a government: they do what is right in their own eyes.
And the last very there is the most chilling indictment of them all: Even though they know deep inside what they are doing is not only wrong, but they know God’s justice requires death, not only do they do them, but they flaunt it, and encourage others to do the same.

10 Feb. 2026: Erin Molan spent over a decade with the Nine Network as a sports and news presenter, including becoming the first female host of The NRL Footy Show and working on Nine’s Wide World of Sports and The Sunday Footy Show. She later moved to Sky News Australia, where she hosted her own primetime current affairs program Erin and wrote columns for The Daily Telegraph and Stellar magazine.
Molan is also known for her advocacy on online safety; her campaigning contributed to Australia’s Online Safety Act, informally dubbed “Erin’s Law” by former prime minister Scott Morrison. Beyond broadcasting, she supports several charities (including Bowel Cancer Australia and Dreams2Live4), has launched a baby-product range, and frequently comments on politics, national security, and foreign affairs.
Erin Molan has condemned former Australian of the Year Grace Tame after footage emerged of Tame leading protesters in the chant “from Gadigal to Gaza, globalize the intifada” during a Sydney demonstration coinciding with Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s visit.
Molan, who has repeatedly described “globalize the intifada” as a slogan that calls for or glorifies violent uprising against Jews and Israel, argues that its use in Western protests represents a dangerous normalization of antisemitic rhetoric and a form of “unrelenting idiocy” or “insanity” in how parts of the West respond to attacks on Jewish communities.

Erin Molan also criticized Australia as a whole, claiming that Australian learned nothing from the December 14, 2025 terrorist shooting at a Jewish Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Now, Molan is calling out the fact that Australian Jews are preparing to leave their country because they no longer feel safe.
But this is the new normal. Worldwide, hating Jews has become acceptable, particularly among the left liberal ideology. This is forcing Jewish people from all over the world to migrate to Israel, as the only country where they feel safe.
Its Time to Take a Stand
In her show, she then called for Australians to take a stand.
For the last 2,000 years, every generation has had an excuse for hating Jews. Genocide against Palestine is this generation’s excuse, nothing more.
That is a sharp line to take; but it’s time to take sharp stands. The Bible predicts this very thing happening: In the last days, right before the end, there will be another mass Exodus; this exodus will be for Jews all over the world realizing there is no safe place for them, and they will gather together in Israel.

The Bible goes on to say that God will search the entire world and bring his people back to Israel. Even today, Jews are moving from Europe to Israel because they no longer feel safe.
Will Palestinians Ever Get Their Wish?
NO. Absolutely not. Any person, including the President, or the coming antichrist who tries to take land away from the Jewish population are taking a stand against God himself. The one, true God, the God of the Bible. Only the Bible, and no other religious book or document, contains truth. The Bible on the other hand, has proven itself to be true by writing history in advance. The phrase this site uses is more than just a slogan: It is a fact.

Remember, God is no respecter of persons; he doesn’t care if someone were the President of the United States, the Leader of the United Nations, or however genuine their intention. God has given us his word, and he expects us to know that.

As of February 5, 2026, 733 confirmed* measles cases were reported in the United States in 2026. Among these, 727 measles cases were reported by 20 jurisdictions: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. A total of 6 measles cases were reported among international visitors to the United States.
South Carolina in particular, reported 920 cases as of Friday, February 6th, with an additional 44 cases reported since Tuesday. The most sobering of statistics, the United States reported 2,276 cases last year, its highest since the year 2000, the year measles was declared eliminated following high vaccination rates. Last year, the number of vaccinated children in kindergarten fell to 93%. According to scientists herd immunity can only be achieved when at least 95% of children are immunized.
Multiple Bible Prophecies Being Fulfilled
The main cause of the rise in measles in the US are the number of parents who are refusing to allow their children to be vaccinated. In recent years, several activists have been advising people to refuse vaccinations for a wide variety of reasons. However, the overall reason is clear: Rebellion. Rather than protect their children from diseases that can lead to permanent disability, mental illness and even death, they listen to these people who mislead others. Often their advice comes from individual stories and antidotal evidence based on statistics rather than solid medical advice.
The Bible says in the last days people will have a spirit of deception:

This will be a part of a larger trend, where people have a greed, a lust for money, and if deceiving others in order to get it, will have a virtue of its own.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. – 1 Timothy 6:9-10 KJV
In the world in which we live where podcasts, YouTube videos, allow posts to lead to views, like, subscribers, advertisers and ultimately money, it’s no wonder why people are willing to mislead others for profit.

We can see that in nearly every headline, everywhere we look, God’s warning is on full display. These are not punishments being dealt out by God before the due time! These are man’s foolish decisions being carried out exactly as predicted by Jesus himself, written down 2,000 years ago, so there can be no doubt whatsoever; the word of God is 100% true and coming to pass right in front of us.
There is only one God, there is only one book that has his Word written down and preserved. Any other writing that claims to be the Word of God is deception. This book, the Bible proves its authenticity, by writing history in advance, it makes claims that cannot be disputed: There is only one, true God, and the Bible, not any other book that claims to supersede it, can be true.
So you are left in a very precarious position: If you don’t know Jesus as your savior, you are now truly without excuse. You have been shown that the word of God is coming to pass, and now you have a decision to make, Yes you can postpone that decision, but there comes a time when you’re postponement will be a decision of itself. Why not take the time now, to humble yourself, and stop fighting what you know to be true. I’m not big into giving invitations, but I do know how you can be saved. You don’t need a church, or an altar, nor do you need a long, ‘repeat-after-me’ prayer. All it takes is a solid, quality decision, a little bit of faith, and a confession:
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10 NASB

7 Feb. 2026: NOTE: For some time now, I’ve been witnessing how left wing activists have been openly using hatred as a means to further divide not just the United States, but all over the world. This is not a conspiracy theory; to anyone who denies the obvious, the return of Jesus is a blaring trumpet sound in every headline, from every corner of the globe.
New York Attorney General Letitia James has successfully prosecuted white NYPD Sgt. Erik Duran, who claimed the death of an alleged drug dealer was the result of an unusual circumstance. In August 2023, Duran was posing as a buyer during an undercover drug bust of Latino Eric Duprey. After making a purchase of $20 worth of cocaine, Duran attempted to arrest Duprey, who allegedly attempted to flee on a motor scooter. Video surveillance clearly shows Duprey riding hit motor bike riding directly toward a group of people who are not in uniform.
Sgt. Duran then picks up a red cooler and hurls it at Duprey, knocking him off the motor bike resulting in his death. But to what would seem to be an unfortunate accident to us is considered second-degree manslaughter to a group of people who regularly engage in “White Racism”. These people use incidents like this to attempt to make villains out of white police officers. Such tactics aren’t just used against the police, but ICE, politicians and even the President himself.
The organization Black Lives Matter, who has been tied to Antifa, attended the trial, and called the verdict, “a long‑awaited measure of justice and a warning against reckless police tactics.” It is important to note that the suspect, Eric Duprey was Latino, and not black.
Racism, Hatred and the Last Days
For decades, hatred has been used by the left as a means of dividing people and making them feel vulnerable. Once people become scared and feel like victims, it is much easier to convince them more government is needed in order to protect the very group of people who needed no protection. This idea is from Satan himself, and this very hatred that is being promoted by liberal politicians was predicted in the Bible.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Matthew 24:7-10 KJV
It’s important that first of all we take a close look at the core Scripture itself; and recognize the words themselves and the things taking place in the world today. Notice it says Nation shall rise against Nation; the meaning of this will become clear in just a few minutes, but then the Scripture says “ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake”. This exactly matches the hatred today for any and all things Christian. In many parts of the world, including cities right here in the United States, carrying out Christian beliefs and practices in public can lead to arrest.
Shall many be offended; what bigger proof is needed? The battle cry of the liberal left, people are offended. Certain words are now considered ‘politically incorrect’ because someone might be offended. Christians can no longer read the Bible aloud in public because someone might be offended. Liberals even contend that the American flag should not be flown in public because someone might be offended. And 2,000 years ago, a man walking the streets of Jerusalem somehow knew this would happen in 2026.
Nation Shall Rise Against Nation
In the original Greek text the phrase “nation shall rise against nation” is written egertheˉsetaigarethnosepiethnos. The word ‘nation‘ is ἔθνος (ethnos). It is the source of our word ethnic. A passage from the Scripture that many have translated as wars between nations actually tells us about the very toxic society we currently live in. Liberal ideology has actually been fulfilling prophecy in the very Bible that they scorn and hate. How ironic in the book they like to burn contains the very testimony against them.
Ethnic group shall rise against ethnic group. – Matthew 24:7
This is how the verse should appear. Now we see plainly that this victimization of ethnic groups was predicted in the Bible as a sign of the last days. We are now in a position that the time of Jesus’ return is so close we are no longer watching Bible prophecy coming to pass, it has came to pass. Past tense; already happened. The Bible has proven itself to be accurate.
This is without defense, and there is no excuse. We are not looking at things that are just now happening. Sometime within the last few years, starting in 2021, it became a purposeful push, not just here but all over the world, to cause chaos all over the world. Countries like Britain and France, Germany, Australia, just to name a few. These governments for whatever unexplained reason, opened their borders to Muslim ‘immigrants’ who repaid their kindness by wreaking havoc and destruction:
- France – Repeated riots in heavily Muslim suburbs, high unemployment and segregation among Muslim youth, Islamist terror attacks, and fierce battles over veils, burqas, and Islamic symbols in public life.
- Germany – Problems integrating large refugee inflows since 2015, including the Cologne New Year’s Eve assaults, jihadist plots, and the rise of the AfD as a reaction against Merkel’s open‑door policy.
- United Kingdom – Ethno‑religious tensions, Islamist radicalization episodes, grooming‑gang scandals, and, more recently, street clashes, mosque attacks, and riots tied to migration and pro‑Palestinian mobilization.
- Sweden – Sharp rise in gang violence and shootings in immigrant‑heavy districts, repeated Quran‑burning controversies, and a big political shift toward tougher migration and law‑and‑order policies.
- Belgium & Netherlands – High‑profile jihadist attacks, radical networks in places like Molenbeek (Brussels), murders and threats over criticism of Islam (e.g., Theo van Gogh), and deep debates over free speech versus religious offense.
- Italy, Spain, Greece – Front‑line states for cross‑Mediterranean migration, struggling with illegal arrivals, human‑trafficking routes, and integration of largely Muslim newcomers in already strained economies.
But there is one universal truth brought to these countries: Antisemitism.

While solar flares themselves are impressive, it’s the accompanying Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) that truly fuel the Northern Lights. CMEs are colossal clouds of plasma and magnetic particles ejected from the Sun’s atmosphere. This week, a CME spawned by the X8.3 flare is expected to deliver a “glancing blow” to Earth. Even a glancing impact from such a powerful eruption can significantly disrupt our planet’s magnetic field, leading to a G1-class geomagnetic storm, or potentially stronger.
The anticipation is high because the solar activity is occurring during “solar maximum,” the most active phase of the Sun’s 11-year cycle. This means the Sun is at its peak intensity, increasing the likelihood of powerful events that trigger auroras.
According to forecasts, the Northern Lights could be visible tonight and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday) in 11 US states: Alaska, Northern Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Maine.
While difficult to predict the exact peak, stargazers are advised to monitor NOAA’s 30-minute aurora forecast and SpaceWeatherLive.com, along with apps like Aurora Now and My Aurora Forecast, for real-time updates. For the best viewing experience, find a dark location away from city lights and look towards the north. Even a smartphone’s “night mode” should be sufficient to capture some memorable photos.
Yet Another Sign of the Times
The Bible tells us that in the last days, God will use many, many signs in an attempt to get our attention. Beginning in 2025, ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ events began happening almost on a weekly basis. In the book of Luke, Jesus himself tells us some of the signs that will come upon the earth right before the end:
25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” – Luke 21:25-28 NKJV
Notice Jesus said ‘when these things begin to happen’; he didn’t say after these things have been going on for decades. He said “when the begin”! These things have begun to happen, and every sign of the return of Jesus is getting more and frequent with each passing day.
This could be the last time you get a chance. There has never been a promise of tomorrow for any of us. Your time could be drawing to a close while you read this. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. You have been separated from God by your sin. But God paid the punishment for your sin. And all you need to do in order to receive that forgiveness is humble yourself. It takes a quality decision, a little faith, and a confession.

On an episode of “The 700 Club” posted to YouTube, CBN’s flagship program aired a story about the plight of Jews living in Britain. The story highlighted the everyday antisemitism Jews endure in a country that once protected them. Now, the very streets in which they live has become so polluted with Muslim sponsored hatred the Jews are living in fear for their lives. “It reminds me of the 1930’s,” one Jewish lady commented, referring to the pre-World War II era that led to the largest single state-sponsored genocide in history: The Holocaust.
Now, there’s even talk in America about affording Jews living in the UK asylum for coming to the United States. Jewish journalist David Collier said, “where’s my suitcase?” when asked if he would consider moving to the USA to escape the antisemitism. He claims death threats has just become a regular part of his job.
Keir Starmer, the current Prime Minister has done a pitiful job of protecting Jewish people. Two thirds of Jews in Britain no longer feel there is a future for them in the United Kingdom. Starmer for his part has offered plenty of lip service, but no real action to protect the Jews, or clamp down on the acts of violence against Jews. After the Jewish Synagogue attack in Manchester, Starmer promised to do ‘whatever it takes’ to crackdown on antisemitism, but most Jews feel like the government has fail to make any meaningful progress.
The Reals Reasons Behind Antisemitism
For over 2,000 years every generation of Jews has been a target of hatred. But there is only one reason for this hatred: Nothing proves the existence of God like the Jewish people. Their history has been written in advance, and it has come true with stunning accuracy.
For 2,000 years every generation has had an excuse for hating the Jewish people. Genocide in Palestine is this generation’s excuse, nothing more.
From the days of Moses, who made the prediction in the book of Deuteronomy, to the book of Ezekiel that predicts the return of the Jews to their homeland, every minute detail of the Jewish lives have been documented in the Bible, including the Holocaust.
Then the LORD will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known. 65 Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. A Warning for Those who Mistreat Jews
Mistreating God’s chosen people can be one of the worst things you can do. God doesn’t tolerate lightly the people who have stood up against the Jews. Only by turning away from their ways now, can they avoid destruction.

5 Feb. 2026: According to Amnesty International, people who have managed to escape North Korea are reporting that even student are subject to public execution for simply watching South Korean shows such as ‘Squid Game’. Furthermore, children are forced to watch these executions, as a warning not to engage in the same behavior.
The harshest punishments are dealt out to the poorest residents, while wealthier citizen or those with government connections are able to pay bribes in order to avoid punishment. Sarah Brooks, Amnesty International’s Deputy Regional Director said, “Watching a South Korean TV show can cost you your life – unless you can afford to pay.”
And executions are not limited to South Korean TV: Some people who escaped North Korea have also reported that youngsters who list to the boy band BTS. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단), often translated as Bulletproof Boy Scouts, and they are also known as the Bangtan Boys.
Ironically, many have speculated how Netflix’s show “Squid Game”, is uncomfortably close to life in North Korea, highlighting striking parallels between the show and the testimonies coming from people who escaped from the country.
The Bible’s Warnings that Highlight Kim Jong Un’s Behavior
The Bible is clear that in the last days people will have no regard For anything that is decent, moral or upright. Kim Jong Un has displayed bizarre behavior in the past, with a cruel twist that has gotten progressively worse as time as went on. First, let’s take a look at the types of behavior that is becoming common all over the world:
And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. – Matthew 24:12 NKJV
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. But world leaders, have been especially marked by Bible Prophecy as a witness to the times we live:

and clever in their own sight.
22 Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine

Just one piece of a very large puzzle that is quickly being assembled. And the finished puzzle will look like the return of Jesus, the Son of God in the clouds. For those of us who have surrendered to the call of God, and received the gift of salvation, we wait with impatient anticipation, hoping each day will be the day we see His glorious return. But for those who may not have the assurance of salvation the times in which we live are terrifying.
If that is you, then the brave front you put forth might be masking a a desire to be at peace. You can have that peace that transforms you from a person who avoids the news to someone who looks forward to each day, in hopes that today will be the day your savior returns. Being born again is very easy; all it takes is for you to humble yourself, realize the need for a savior, a little bit of faith, and a confession. You don’t need a church, an altar, or a ‘repeat after me’ prayer:
“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:8-9 NIV

Columbus Was Instrumental In the Saving of Many Jewish Lives During the Spanish Inquisition
4 Feb. 2026: Christopher Columbus, once a celebrated figure here in the USA, has now been falsely portrayed as some sort of slave trader, despite no evidence whatsoever linking him to any type of dealings with slaves. The truth of the matter is that to blame Christopher Columbus for poorly treating so-called indigenous people and even having the nerve to blame him from bringing European diseases to the new world is indicative of the warped liberal mindset and their depraved values.
President Donald Trump is making plans to bring a statue of the famous explorer to the White House. Critics are raising old arguments from 2020, when these false stories began to circulate about Columbus.
The Real Reason Columbus Called the People He Found Here ‘Indians’
For as long as I can remember, the story has been told that Christopher Columbus thought America was really India, and therefore called the people he found in America ‘Indians’. This is nonsense, and it is time that Americans were told the truth. When Columbus landed in America, he found a group of people who rich heritage reflected a divine respect for the natural forces of the earth. They held the sun, moon and the water, the earth and the animals in high regard.
Columbus referred to those people as “Indios”, or a people for God. “Indios” literally means in God. But some translators feel the phrase is best understood as “A People For God”; because as a Roman Catholic, Columbus wouldn’t have believed that a person could be in God without being a Christian. But whatever the interpretation, This was Columbus’ reason for naming the people as he did, not because he thought he had landed on the wrong continent.
Christopher Columbus: A “Safe Haven” to the Jews
Historians have noted several key links between Columbus’s 1492 voyage and the plight of Spanish Jews:
- Timing of the Voyage: Columbus was scheduled to set sail on August 2, 1492, which was the exact deadline for Jews to leave Spain under the Alhambra Decree. He ultimately delayed his departure to August 3, possibly out of respect for Tisha B’Av, a Jewish day of mourning, or because the harbor was clogged with ships of fleeing refugees.
- Jewish Crew and Funding: His expedition was largely funded by conversos (Jews who converted to Christianity under duress), such as Luis de Santángel. Furthermore, his crew included several known conversos, including his interpreter Luis de Torres, who was chosen specifically for his knowledge of Hebrew and Arabic.
- Search for a Refuge: Some theories suggest that one of Columbus’s underlying motivations was to find a new land where Jews could live safely away from the reach of the Inquisition.

The Bible is literally coming true in every single aspect. While many people love to focus on the events in Iran and the earthquakes all over the world, it is important to realize that story after story, article after article tells the universal message to people all over the world: The Return of Jesus is Here!
Every idea of those who have turned their backs on God get more and more aggressive with each passing day. Their intolerance for anything or anyone who doesn’t hold strictly to their warped ideas and sense of values becomes more dangerous. This is how we know that the return of Jesus is right here, even at the doors.
And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. – Romans 1:28-32 NASB

Lawmakers Fear Growing Tensions Across Europe
3 Feb. 2026: Croatia has decided to bring back mandatory military service for the first time since 2008. Lawmakers approved the change with a strong majority—84 votes in favor, 11 against, and 30 abstaining. The new requirement will involve two months of basic military training.
The move comes as tensions rise across Europe, driven largely by Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine and a growing arms buildup in the Balkans. Croatian officials framed the decision as a response to a “crisis” environment, where regional security concerns are increasing and countries are reassessing their military readiness.
But Croatia isn’t the only country that has begun to explore the possibilities of military conscription. In November 2025, Echoes and Origins posted an article stating the Germany had also decided to begin conscription in 2026.* And in January of this year, Germany began the first phase of a new military conscription system that could become mandatory if volunteer numbers fall short. As of now, Germany reintroduced mandatory registration and medical screening for all 18‑year‑old males starting January 1, 2026 — but actual compulsory military service has not been activated. It remains a voluntary-first system, with mandatory service only triggered if recruitment goals aren’t met.
Several other European countries have reintroduced a form of draft: Latvia brought back compulsory service in January 2024, ending a 16‑year pause. Denmark introduced gender‑equal conscription, meaning women can now be drafted. Service length is also being extended to 11 months by 2026. Austria, Cyprus, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece and Turkey all maintain conscription and have increased readiness beginning in 2022.
The Bible, Telling the End from the Beginning
The Bible warns us of just a time like this. A time when countries all over the world will talk about peace, when preparing for war. The Old Testament brings up the idea that people will talk about peace, but it will be nothing but talk.
“They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially,
Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
But there is no peace. – Jeremiah 6:14 NASB
And the same sentiment is echoed in the New Testament as well:
3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. – 1 Thessalonians 5:3 NASB
But Christians have nothing to fear. The world lives in fear of the times in which we live, but Christians have this eager expectedness, because of God’s promises. Just as the previous verse, the next thing we read is a promise:
But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; – 1 Thessalonians 5:4 NASB
The rest of the world walks in darkness. They don’t even recognize the times in which we live! But you and I, my friends, we are not in darkness for that day to overtake us. Because we can see the times in which we live.
But if you don’t know Jesus, you are doing well to live in terror; because the Day of the Lord is going to take you completely by surprise. But you don’t have to live in fear for one more day. And God has made salvation so easy for you, it’s no wonder Satan is doing his best to complicate it. But all it takes is a little faith, a quality decision, and the ability to humble yourself.

You don’t have to be in church, nor do you need an altar. No preacher going over a long ‘repeat-after-me’ prayer. Humble yourself, confess your belief in Jesus, and call him your Lord.

3 Feb. 2026: For the third week in a row, South Carolina has felt the ground move. This time, the shaking didn’t come from the familiar cluster near Elgin, where small quakes have been popping up for years. Instead, the latest tremor—a 2.3 magnitude quake—struck more than a hundred miles away in Centerville, deep in the Lowcountry. It hit late Tuesday morning, rumbling from about five miles underground.
On its own, a 2.3 quake isn’t much. Most people wouldn’t even notice it. But the pattern is what stands out. Three weeks, three quakes, and now in two different regions of the state. The first quake of the year hit Kershaw County with a 2.7 magnitude. A week later, another small one followed near Elgin. Now the shaking has shifted to a different fault area altogether.
These aren’t disasters. They aren’t headlines meant to scare anyone. But they are reminders—quiet ones—that the ground beneath us is never as still as we assume. South Carolina isn’t known for major earthquakes, yet the state sits on a web of old, buried fault lines that occasionally wake up just enough to get our attention.
And maybe that’s the point.

The Bible often uses earthquakes as symbols of shaking, sifting, and awakening. Not every tremor is prophetic, of course. But every tremor is a picture of how fragile the world really is. One moment everything feels solid; the next moment, the ground shifts without warning.
These small quakes in South Carolina won’t change the map. They won’t topple buildings. Most people will forget them by next week. But for those paying attention, they fit into a larger pattern we’ve been watching for years: a world growing noisier, more restless, more unsettled—above and below.
If nothing else, they remind us of a simple truth: We are not as steady as we think. But God is.
And sometimes, even a 2.3 tremor is enough to bring that back to mind.

3 Feb 2026: Residents of Kolkata, West Bengal, India were briefly shaken Tuesday night when the ground moved beneath them for nearly fifteen seconds. The tremor wasn’t local — it came from a strong earthquake just across the border in Myanmar — but it was enough to send people out of their homes and into the streets, wondering what might come next.
According to early seismology reports, Myanmar experienced a magnitude‑6.0 quake at a shallow depth of about 10 kilometers. Quakes that close to the surface tend to be felt across a wider region, even when the magnitude isn’t extreme. That’s why cities hundreds of miles away, including Kolkata and parts of eastern India, felt the jolt so clearly.
Thankfully, there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage in Kolkata. Myanmar, too, has not yet reported major destruction, though assessments are still coming in. The region sits on active fault lines and has a long history of powerful earthquakes — including the devastating 7.7 quake in March 2025 that caused widespread damage across central Myanmar.
Events like this often pass quickly from the headlines, especially when the damage is minimal. But they serve as quiet reminders of how unsettled the natural world has become. A single shift beneath the surface can ripple across borders, cities, and lives in a matter of seconds. The earth groans, and people feel it — sometimes literally.
Why This is Biblically Significant
One of the most well known signs of the coming of Jesus is the earthquake. Jesus used this as a marker for his return, telling us that earthquakes will become more and more frequent as the time of his return draws near.

UK Lawyers for Israel Advocacy Group Brings Up Accusation
1 Feb. 2026: The story making headlines right now centers on a map used in Britannica Kids, the children’s version of Encyclopedia Britannica. In one of their lessons, the map labels the entire area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea as “Palestine.” The problem is that the map doesn’t show Israel at all—not even within its internationally recognized borders. Everything is simply marked as “Palestine,” with no distinction between Israel, the West Bank, or Gaza.
A legal group in the UK called UK Lawyers for Israel noticed this and raised the alarm. They argue that the map isn’t just inaccurate—it’s misleading children by presenting a political message as if it were a historical fact. Their concern is that the map lines up with the slogan “from the river to the sea,” which is a highly charged phrase in today’s political climate. They say a children’s educational resource should not be promoting something that controversial, especially by erasing a modern country from the map.
Britannica’s description of “Palestine” talks about it as a historical region with shifting boundaries over time, which is true in a general sense. But the map shown to kids doesn’t reflect modern borders at all, and that’s the heart of the complaint. UKLFI has formally asked Britannica to correct the material, update the maps, and make clear distinctions between Israel and the Palestinian territories so children aren’t being taught something that isn’t accurate.
In short, the issue isn’t just a map—it’s about trust. Parents and educators expect reference materials to be careful and neutral, especially when dealing with topics that are already sensitive. When a map aimed at children leaves out an entire country, people notice, and they want answers.
A Real History of Palestine
The history of the name “Palestine” is tied to a long and painful chapter in the Jewish story — a chapter that stretches from the Roman destruction of Jerusalem to the present day. In 70 A.D., the Roman general Titus besieged Jerusalem during the First Jewish Revolt. The city was trapped, famine raged, and when the Romans finally broke through, Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed. Ancient sources record catastrophic loss of life, with many Jews killed and many others enslaved or scattered.
Decades later, during the Bar Kokhba Revolt (132–135 A.D.), Emperor Hadrian crushed the final major Jewish uprising. In the aftermath, he expelled the Jews from Jerusalem, rebuilt it as a Roman colony called Aelia Capitolina, and renamed the entire province Syria Palaestina — a deliberate insult meant to sever Jewish identity from the land. The name referenced the ancient Philistines, the biblical enemies of Israel. Ironically, the original Philistines had vanished centuries earlier after the Babylonian campaigns of Nebuchadnezzar II, who destroyed their cities and deported their population.
The people who call themselves Palestinians today are mainly of Jordanian, Syrian, and Egyptian descent, and are in no way connected to the original Palestinians written about in the Bible.
The World’s View Mirrors Psalm 38
The world seems convinced that it’s only a matter of time before Israel is wiped off the face of the earth. However, God has different plans. The liberal focus this world, along with Islamic pressures particularly in Britain makes it easy to dismiss the Jewish people and the land of Israel as nothing more than a temporary historical ‘hiccup’, that needs to be

Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot. – Psalms 83:1-8 NKJV
God’s Promise Concerning Israel
The wording of God’s promises concerning Israel are as stunning as the clearest, brightest day. Yet there are few that see them. Dear reader, how blessed are you that see these things plainly! For the world looks at these things darkly, as the Bible say, having eyes but not seeing. I encourage you, don’t just skim through this passage of the Bible, but read it, savor it, think about what is being said here and then compare it to Israel today:
14 “Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel,
And they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them;
They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine,
And make gardens and eat their fruit.
15 “I will also plant them on their land,
And they will not again be rooted out from their land
Which I have given them,”
Says the LORD your God. – Amos 9:14-15 NASB
Exactly! Exactly as the Bible predicted, Israel is back once again in its own land. The ruined cities are rebuilt; they have planted gardens and reap miraculous harvests each year. There are some of the best wines in the world coming out of Israel, and the size and quantity is a sight to behold. Avocadoes the size of oranges, oranges the size of grapefruit. God has blessed the land and the people there just as predicted in the book of Amos.
24 For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. 25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26 Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. 28 You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God. – Ezekiel 36:24-28 NASB
This passage is being fulfilled right now in this very day. Because of all the rampant antisemitism around the world, Jews are leaving these countries and going home in droves.
I could keep on writing. But this should be enough for a rational realization: The Word of God is coming true, in every aspect. We need to prepare for his soon return, by making Jesus the Lord of our lives by humbling ourselves and accepting his gift of forgiveness of sin. As the Son of the one true living God, Jesus was able to offer himself as a sacrifice for sin once and for all. Our sins are already forgiven: But God will not take away any persons’ freedom of choice. That is why it is necessary for you to humble yourself and receive that forgiveness.
This is one of the easiest things you can do. You don’t need to be in a church; you don’t need to come to the front, bow down at an altar, or pray a long ‘repeat-after-me’ prayer. God’s salvation for you only requires a quality decision based on faith, and your spoken acknowledgement.
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” – Romans 10:9-11 NASB
