People Murdering Children Has Become a Full-Fledged Epidemic
27 September 2026: For the last 2 years, there has been a troubling epidemic in this country. Instances of people killing their children. In most cases, these are their own children, not children belonging to someone else. The most recent of cases is in nearby Scottville, KY. Three people were indicted on Wednesday for allegedly causing the death of 16-month-old Mason Moulder.
The three people named in the indictment are:
- Deavan Williams – Indicted on charges of murder and criminal abuse
- Alexandrae Price – Indicted on charges of manslaughter and criminal abuse
- Tina Price – Indicted on multiple accounts; criminal abuse, knowing abuse or neglect of an adult, multiple animal cruelty
Full To The Brim
In cases of the Old Testament, there were times when God delayed judgement on cities in order to give them time to repent. Even during the Old Testament, God gave chance after chance to repent and show remorse of their sins.
In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure. – Genesis 15:16 NIV
In this verse, God is telling Abraham what will take place. Even though God foreknew what would happen, still he waited, giving the Amorites plenty of time to change their ways, and repent of their sins. As well with the nation of Ninevah: God sent Jonah to announce the destruction of the city, but when the people heard the coming judgement of God, they repent of their sins in the hopes they can change God’s mind. God relents, which makes Jonah angry.
Like a spoiled child, Jonah sits on a hill overlooking the city in hopes of seeing its destruction. God raises a plant to shade Jonah while he sits and stews. But the next day, God takes Jonah’s plant away. God confronts Jonah over his anger, and says,
But the LORD said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?” – Jonah 4:10-11 NIV
The Predicament We Find Ourselves In
In this world, we have spent the last 40 years killing unborn children. Now, we have an entire generation of men and women who don’t believe the life of a child is worth very much, and the trend we’ve seen over the last few years shows the Bible is 100% accurate when it says we reap what we’ve sown.
We have reached the point where our sins are to the brim, to the full. We live in a society where the Bible points out in Romans 1:28-32 that the sin has reached its full maturity.
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. – Romans 1:28-32 NIV
If we are true to ourselves, we realize that this is an exact description of the world we live in today. We live in a society where evil is embraced. Good people are shamed as bigots, racists, and are persecuted by this evil generation. These are the end times; in fact, we have reached the end of the end times, where Bible prophecy comes true multiple times a day.
Every single instance of crime is another nail in the coffin of this present world. Just as in the days of Noah, he spent time preaching to the people warning them of the coming flood that would wipe them out. Yet people, much like those of today, simply made the choice to ignore the warnings of Noah, even though they knew God’s judgement was real.
Today, we have the same thing: We have people who know the judgement of God is real; they know the Gospel of Jesus Christ but stubbornly resist his efforts to change their hearts. Instead, they glory in their misdeeds, refusing to humble themselves and receive forgiveness of their sins.
