As The Nation Heads Toward An Election, USA’s Problems Are Far From Over
17 October 2026: Today the news reported a victory over crime and gang activity. ICE Agents arrested 131 gang-affiliated people between Oct. 4 and 10, including 22 affiliated with MS-13, and 13 with Tren de Aragua (TdA). According to Fox News, 12,018 gang members have been arrested since Donald Trump took office as President in January of 2025. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement:
“The best that America has to offer are on the frontlines every day to ensure that the worst of humanity cannot threaten or harm innocent Americans.”
Among those taken into custody was Gustavo Adolfo Flores-Ramirez, a Salvadoran national. DHS believes him to be a member of the notorious MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha, a violent international criminal street gang that originated in Los Angeles, California, in the 1980s. It was initially formed to protect Salvadoran immigrants but has since evolved into a large and dangerous gang involved in a wide range of criminal activities. These activities include drug distribution, murder, rape, prostitution, robbery, and home invasions.
MS-13 operates both in the United States and Central America and is known for its brutal violence and organized criminal operations. The gang has a significant reputation for intimidation and criminal influence in the areas where it is active.
In 2021, Flores-Ramirez was arrested and deported to Mexico, but some time between then and now illegally entered the country a second time. He is also wanted in El Salvador for aggravated homicide, aggravated femicide, rape of a minor or incapacitated person, illegal or irresponsible handling, carrying, or possession of firearms, illicit grouping, and crimes involving public peace.
Thank God for ICE and their work here in the USA to keep us safe!
The bible’s Influence
It has never been my desire to have the rapture be a rescue mission: I have always wanted to see Christians leave America having fully accomplished our mission on the earth. I personally believe just as God intended for Israel to be the forever home of the Jewish people, I believe America was intended for the Christians. We needed a large and prosperous land in order to have the necessary resources to take the Gospel to the entire world. Just as Jesus’ words still ring true:
14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. – Matthew 24:14 NLT
It is our goal, our mission to use the power and prosperity of the United States to fulfill our mission. That every nation hears the Gospel as a witness; then the end can come. Not that all nations will receive the Gospel, that’s why the Bible says the world will hear it, or as other translations says as a witness. This is to make sure that no nation can say they never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel.
We must continue to do our duty, our obligation as Christians in the USA: We must do our part to spread the Gospel, whether through preaching, witnessing and giving to organizations that carry the Gospel around the world. As the world plunges headlong into their cesspool of crime, violence and hatred, we must continue to stand as a beacon of light on a hill that cannot be hidden. For the first time in world history, the entire world runs to hide from the light, which is exactly what the Bible predicted would happen.
And above all, we must pray. The power of prayer is exactly what evil fears most. It is the most important thing you can do to ensure that America’s beacon of righteousness continues to shine to the entire world, regardless of if they want to see this light or not. If you can only do one thing to help your country, pray. If you can do more, then do it. But pray.
Heavenly Father, Your word says in Matthew 18:19 that if any two of us on earth shall agree as touching anything that they shall ask, it will be done. We ask that your power be released here in the United States: That truth and justice will prevail, that corruption would be illuminated until it cannot be hidden any longer. We ask that the powers of darkness be bound and held in check. That every election, every polling place be guarded by angels so that no illegal activity occur.
But most of all, Lord, we ask that your will take place on this earth, in this country, and within each and every life of those who call themselves Christian, followers of Jesus. In Jesus’ name we pray.
