A Straightforward Look At The Insanity of Modern Liberalism

4 September, 2026: I have written about this subject many times before, but few things point directly to the soon return of Jesus more than the mentality of the Liberal Democrat. For this midterm election cycle, I feel the damage is already done, and I have lost confidence in the system. So to those who might say I am only writing this to attempt to influence the upcoming election, I don’t think the election can be influenced. Furthermore, I’m starting to lose confidence in the Republican party. In short, we are on a road that has no turns.

The Bible talks about a day right before the return of Jesus that will be marked by violence, lawlessness, and complete hatred of authority, and the perverse attitude and mindset that some translations of the Bible call Depraved.

“As Time comes to a close we can look back like no other generation before us, to see how accurately the Bible is at telling us the end from the beginning.“

BE KIND

The battle cry of the modern liberal, and one of the most hypocritical statements a liberal could make. Because there is nothing kind about the modern liberal. They are violent, hateful, conceited, have no respect for anyone except those who share their beliefs. They honestly believe themselves to be superior to the average person. They believe that we don’t know what’s best for us, and see themselves as some sort of visionary that can lead us into a new future.

I was thinking about this just yesterday, if I had to describe liberals using just one sentence, without hesitation I would quote Romans 1:22:

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools – Romans 1:22 KJV

And I’m not saying this to hurl insults, I am saying that as the proper description for a liberal. Someone who has no idea just how foolish they sound to the rest of us. Can you imagine a liberal world? The truth is suppressed if it is deemed that someone might find the truth offensive. A world where you have to ask people what their pronouns are before you begin a conversation. Despite everyone having their own personalized set of pronouns, you’re expected to remember everyone’s pronouns because it’s considered rude to ask a second time.

Offense: A Sign of the Times

In this world where it is so easy to offend someone, and people behave as if offending someone is akin to murder, it might interest you to know that Jesus himself actually stated this a sign of the end times.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. – Matthew 24:10 KJV

I could close this article right now: Case proven, guilty as charged. It seems that offense is the battle cry of the modern liberal. What kind of mentality puts so much emphasis on whether or not someone is offended by speech? The most important thing is why someone would think that speech should have limitations rather than a person be free to express themselves? There you have your answer: Our Constitution prevents laws that interfere with a person’s right to free speech. In other countries, they have passed laws prohibiting certain speech, shutting the mouths of those who want to express themselves, because someone might be offended. But here in America, its shame that is used as a weapon to stop the mouths of those who would dare disagree with anything they say.

Since when has it become so important to keep people from being offended? What is the point? There were many, many people offended when the British colonists decided to revolt against the British Crown and declare independence for America. I guess there wouldn’t have been a Revolutionary War, and no United States of America had the modern liberal been alive in the 1700’s.

EVIL: The Heart of Liberal Socialism

Socialism is not a new thing: It wasn’t invented in the 1800’s, and while Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin had a hand in crafting modern socialism, it is a very, very old system. In fact, the very first government in history was socialism.

⁴ And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. – Genesis 11:4 KJV

The Tower of Babel, and the city that subsequently became known as Babylon, was the first attempt at a socialist government. The Bible tells us that mankind embarked on a mission to build a city with a huge tower. They all came together, working alongside each other with a common goal: A utopia apart from God.

And that is the ultimate goal of socialism. To show God that man doesn’t need Him, and can construct a utopia on this earth without his help or his blessing. Now, we’re starting to get a glimpse into the true mindset of the liberal, a grand, impossible mission to show God that man doesn’t need him.

The problem is, man doesn’t know how to govern himself. If you think that isn’t true, look around you. At one time, the United States of America was the closest thing to a perfect system of self-governance: However that model depended on God and His wisdom. Man constantly looked to God for guidance and direction.

But in the late 1950’s, the democrat party began working to remove all traces of God from our government. The tool they used? The writings of Marx and Lenin. Both Marx and Lenin were staunch atheists who advocated for the strict separation of church and state (and the suppression of religion) within Marxist-Leninist ideology.

Some people to this day believe that the phrase “Separation of church and state” is directly from the Constitution; however that phrase was not coined until the 1878 case Reynolds v. United States and the 1947 case Everson v. Board of Education.

The truth is our government was founded on the idea that this type of government could never work without the direct intervention and dependence of God. Their entire point was that government stay out of the business of instituting a state funded church organization.

How To Become A Liberal: 101

The Bible is the most amazing document in all of world history. No other document has ever even came close to incredible feat of writing history in advance with 100% accuracy. In a way, we live in the most awesome time in history. As Time comes to a close we can look back like no other generation before us, to see how accurately the Bible is at telling us the end from the beginning.

The journey to being a liberal is not simply a choice, but a process. Drawing people in and using a step-by-step, much like the gruesome “boiling a frog” analogy. This process is described to the minute detail, in Romans 1:18-32.

¹⁸ But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. ¹⁹ They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. ²⁰ For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. – Romans 1:18-20 NLT

Here we see an obvious truth: Everyone of us, at one time or another has come face to face with God. Not his physical appearance, but his evidence. Every adult in this world has had a time in their life where they were given a moment of realization: That everything we see, everything we experience cannot be a result of simple happenstance. We all have had that moment where we came to the realization of God. Either we embraced it, or we dismissed it, but we have all experienced it.

²¹ Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. ²² Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. ²³ And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. – Romans 1:21-23 NLT

According to the Bible, there is no such thing as a atheist. We simply have a population of people who refuse to acknowledge the truth. They have turned away from the one true God. In order to explain a universe and an earth without God, they began dreaming up the most ridiculous things. As a result, pretending to be so smart, their arguments were complete foolishness. Ideas that everything could simply evolve from nothing. Instead of humbling themselves, man began to create all kinds of idols. Giving supernatural abilities to the most ordinary of things, such as Time.

Time is the supernatural entity of the modern world. Take absolutely nothing, sprinkle in the magic ingredient of Time, and viola! We have a universe, planets, stars and an earth. Most importantly we have life, all thanks to the magic ingredient of time.

So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. ²⁵ They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. – Romans 1:24-25 NLT

As they turned their backs on God in favor of their foolish ideas, God fulfilled his promise to man to let him choose his own path. They began to disrespect their bodies, with one another. As their passions for one another increased they shed the values God had instilled in them. They began exposing their nakedness, and exploring the depths of their passions. They abandoned the idea of a monogamous relationship, and instead became slaves of their desires toward one another.

That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. ²⁷ And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. – Romans 1:26-27 NLT

As the trap they laid for themselves closed in on them, they were powerless to resist the demands their passion placed on them. At first, the women began to indulged their desire for one another, doing things with their bodies that God had never intended them to do. Men quickly followed suit, engaging in things that were shameful to God and their fellow man. They did things with one another that the body was never meant to endure, hurting and causing injury to one another, which was just punishment for the things they were doing.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, ²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, ³⁰ slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, ³¹ without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; ³² and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. – Romans 1:28-32 NASB

Eventually they got to the point where they completely abandoned God: They put God out of their minds. God relinquished, and turned them over to their depravity. They embraced unrighteousness, hedonism, and the result was unbridled evil. They took on the very persona of the demons that were guiding them all along. As a result, they became filled with nothing but hate.

Everything became intolerable to them, and as they searched for reasons to feed their fury, no sin became unacceptable. Even now, in the darkest recesses of their minds they know they are committing evil acts, they embrace those acts, and encourage others to do the same thing.
