Florida’s Dengue Fever Outbreak Is Worst On Record
14 October 2026: There is a genuine effort to downplay the events unfolding globally today. Whether one attributes these events to Bible prophecy or not, the truth is often obscured. For instance, Florida is currently facing its worst Dengue Fever outbreak on record, yet it barely makes a ripple in the headlines.
Dengue is transmitted exclusively through the bite of infected mosquitoes—primarily the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus species. These mosquitoes are the main carriers responsible for spreading the disease to humans. It does not spread directly from human to human through casual contact, though infected individuals can pass the virus back to uninfected mosquitoes that bite them.
Common Symptoms
Symptoms typically appear 4 to 10 days after a bite and often mimic the flu. They include:
- High Fever: Sudden onset, often reaching 104°F.
- Severe Body Aches: Intense pain behind the eyes, as well as severe muscle and joint pain (giving it the historical nickname “breakbone fever”).
- Headaches and Fatigue: Accompanied by extreme tiredness.
- Rash: A skin rash that can appear a few days after the fever starts.
- Mild Bleeding: Such as minor nosebleeds or bleeding gums.
The vast majority of people recover within a week to ten days without long-term issues. In a small percentage of cases, the illness can escalate into a medical emergency. It can cause internal bleeding, a sudden drop in blood pressure (shock), organ failure, or death if not treated rapidly in a hospital setting. Risk increases if a person is infected a second time with a different strain of the virus.
There is no antiviral medication designed specifically to cure Dengue fever. Treatment focuses entirely on managing symptoms—primarily resting, staying well-hydrated with fluids, and using pain relievers like acetaminophen. Doctors strongly advise avoiding anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, aspirin, or naproxen, as they can increase the risk of bleeding complications.
What The Bible Has To Say
For over a year now, I have been posting stories tied to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. I do cover the big events, but to me the important events are not the headline makers. The important events are the signs, the day to day signs of what Jesus referred to as the ‘Birth pangs’ or the labor pains of the return of Jesus. He literally compared these things to labor pains. Just as a pregnant woman goes into labor, at first, her pains are infrequent and vary. But as labor progresses, the labor pains become more intense, and closer together. Right at the very minutes before birth, a labor pain can be separated by a minute or less.
8 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains.” – Mark 13:8 ESV
11 “There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.” – Luke 21:11 ESV
That word in bold is pestilences. While by todays standards we might consider that as insects, when the book of Luke was written, The term “pestilences” is often understood as referring to widespread diseases or plagues. It is important to note that these are not part of the plagues that will happen during Daniel’s 70th week, or as some call the Tribulation.
What we are experiencing right now, is this movement forward. Every day, there are two or three signs that the end of this present age is at hand. For those who are keeping track of these signs, we know there has been a very significant uptick in the severity and frequency of these events. What we are experiencing right now is referred to as Convergence: We are witnessing a convergence of events—multiple signs unfolding simultaneously—pointing unmistakably toward the imminent return of Jesus. It’s not the knockout punch everyone loves to cheer about, but the ‘death by a thousand cuts’ approach.
These things are happening: We are not simply trying to scare people or even worse entertain them by screaming ‘The Sky is Falling!’. We are giving a specific warning that the times are converging upon themselves, in order to protect you from being left behind when the Rapture of the church happens. This is your opportunity to make sure your life continues on forever. Make no mistake about it, you will live forever. The problem is where will you spend it?
