Could Trump’s Decision to Support a Palestinian State Signal the End?
When Donald Trump won the presidential election in November 2024, many Americans saw it as the start of a new era for the country. Trump even called it “The Golden Age” of America. However, many supporters feel he’s more interested in building his own legacy than in actually making America great.
During the 2024 elections, many promises were made, but later either walked back or given only lip service through executive orders that were never enforced. With blue states openly defying Trump’s directives, he appears weak and powerless. However, one area where the President has remained steadfast is in his unwavering support for Israel.
Until last week.
Direct answer: Trump’s position on Palestinian statehood in 2025 is contradictory. He has rebuked allies for recognizing Palestine but has not taken strong action against them, signaling ambivalence. At the same time, he has floated radical proposals for Gaza and assured Arab leaders he would block Israeli annexation of the West Bank. For Israel, the danger is less about jets to Saudi Arabia and more about Trump’s unpredictable stance on Palestinian sovereignty. When Britain, France, Canada, Australia, and Saudi Arabia recognized Palestine at the UN in September 2025, Trump criticized them rhetorically but did not impose consequences. This restraint gave allies a “free pass” to act, which Israel denounced as a betrayal.
After the Gaza war escalated, Trump brokered a ceasefire and promised Arab leaders he would not allow Israel to annex the West Bank. This was a significant shift, since annexation would have killed any chance of a two‑state solution. His assurances kept Palestinian self‑determination on the table, even if reluctantly.
Radical Gaza proposal: In February 2025, Trump proposed that the U.S. “take over” Gaza, expel Palestinians, and redevelop it as the “Riviera of the Middle East.” This plan was condemned internationally but supported by Netanyahu. It contradicted the idea of Palestinian sovereignty and instead aligned with Israeli plan to develop Gaza in hopes Palestinians would give up this idea of complete destruction of Israel and instead focus on bettering their own lives.
But of course, Donald Trump flipped on this proposal as well. As his dreams of getting a Nobel Peace Prize rose, Trump’s support of Israel waned, which left Netanyahu in a position of having to assert its independence. But true to Bible prophecy, Netanyahu has become the ‘immovable rock’ spoken of in the book of Zechariah. He has reasserted his stance on no state for Palestine:
“Our opposition to a Palestinian state in any territory has not changed… Gaza will be demilitarized, and Hamas will be disarmed, the easy way or the hard way” – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, November 16, 2025
There are some who say names are important; names testify to the destiny of a person. Netanyahu literally means, “Gift of Jehovah”.
It’s fair to say Trump’s support for Israel has cooled. In discussing the proposal set to be voted on this week, he’s pointed out that it offers Palestine a path to self-determination. That wording marks a shift from his earlier speeches, where he openly stated his opposition to a Palestinian state.
The So-Called Nobel Peace Prize
While we’re here, let’s discuss this so-called Nobel Peace Prize. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be more likely to walk on water than ever receive it myself. But for me, turning down that $1,000,000 prize would be no big deal. In my view, it’s less a peace prize and more a “liberal of the year” award—a popularity contest where enough press, good or bad, can buy you a nomination.
In 1994, the Nobel Peace Prize went to Yasser Arafat, along with Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. The committee honored them “for their efforts to create peace in the Middle East” through the Oslo Accords, which sought to foster reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians.
Yassar Arafat was responsible for ordering suicide bombers to attack Israeli school buses. He was responsible for countless terror attacks on Israeli soil. Although he denied his involvement in the Munich Olympics attack, the group Black September—was a militant faction linked to his organization, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). So, while Arafat denied involvement, intelligence and historical accounts tie the operation indirectly to the PLO under his leadership.
This is the type of person that can win a Nobel Peace Prize. Does Trump really want to be named with Arafat? That is more than enough reason for Donald Trump to not seek the Nobel Peace Prize and reject it if nominated.
Siding Against Israel: A Dangerous Thing to Do.
1 A prophecy: The word of the LORD concerning Israel.
The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares: 2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves – Zechariah 12:1-3 NIV
Within the last few weeks, we have seen this prophecy literally fulfilled. Both France and Britain signaled a significant shift in their policies and made it known that they were going to oppose Isreal and back a Palestinian state.
France’s Folly
In early 2025, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron repeatedly warned that the two‑state solution was “in danger of disappearing” and said France was prepared to take “responsibility” if Israel continued to block Palestinian sovereignty. These were statements of intent, not yet formal recognition. In July of 2025, in interviews and speeches, Macron hinted that France was “considering recognition” of Palestine, stressing that Europe could not remain passive while the Gaza war escalated. September 22, 2025: At the UN summit in New York, he moved from intention to action, formally declaring France’s recognition of Palestine.
Within days of this, a major French political crisis unfolded in September–October 2025, when Prime Minister François Bayrou was ousted after a failed confidence vote (September 9, 2025), followed by the rapid resignation of his successor Sébastien Lecornu in early October. This period marked the height of turmoil, with Emmanuel Macron’s government severely weakened and public protests demanding his resignation. Sébastien Lecornu, appointed as Bayrou’s replacement, resigned just 14 hours after unveiling his cabinet, plunging France into another crisis.
October–November 2025: Macron reappointed Lecornu, but mass protests erupted over austerity measures, pensions, and Gaza war policy. By mid‑November, one million people demonstrated, and Macron’s approval rating fell to 15%
Britain’s Blunder
For years, Britain’s support of Israel was unwavering, However, in early 2025, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a major policy shift in 2025 by announcing that the UK would recognize a Palestinian state, breaking with decades of British policy that had effectively given Israel a veto over Palestinian sovereignty. He formally confirmed recognition on September 21, 2025, marking a departure from Britain’s traditional alignment with Israel.
September 21, 2025 – Formal recognition: In a statement from Downing Street, Starmer declared:
“We are acting to keep alive the possibility of peace and a Two State Solution. That means a safe and secure Israel alongside a viable Palestinian State — at the moment, we have neither.“
Literally three days later, Starmer was neck deep in trouble, and sinking fast. And to this very day, his leadership is still in trouble. In a major falling out with none other than King Charles himself, Starmer was mocked and jeered by the British people, who are still calling for his removal from office.
Starmer’s decision to formally recognize a Palestinian state, to curtail the power of the House of Lords, and rumors of temper tantrums has really galvanized opposition for the Prime Minister and the Labour Party. Like sharks that began circling when noticing the smell of blood in the water, the London Press began pumping out stories around the clock. Among these stories were that Starmer had thrown a child-like temper tantrum and referred to the King and the House of Lords as “Tired old men who play dress up” and claiming to usurp the power of the king for himself.
While these statements cannot be verified, these are things that have been floated around in the London press. But the firestorm in Starmer’s government is very real. Reports of him “throwing fits” or clashing with colleagues are mostly anecdotal leaks, but they reinforce the image of a leader under strain. The combination of recognizing Palestine, rumored disdain for the monarchy, and visible frustration in Parliament has created a narrative of Starmer as out of step with tradition.
The firestorm is less about one confirmed statement and more about the collision of fact and rumor:
- Fact: Starmer recognized Palestine, breaking precedent.
- Fact: He’s pushing constitutional reform.
- Rumor: He insulted the King and the Lords. Together, these have left him under fire from his own party, the press, and the public.
As of mid‑November 2025, Keir Starmer’s approval rating is at a record low — around 17% approval against 64–73% disapproval (net −45 to −48). The Labour Party’s support has collapsed to about 15–17%, placing it in fourth place behind Reform UK, the Greens, and the Conservatives.
Is America Next?
It is important to understand; this is not about agreeing with every single thing Israel does. God isn’t allowing an entire country to run roughshod over the entire world while He stands behind them daring anyone to complain. But there are several truths here that are never, and I mean never brought to light.

The narrative that has been shoved down our throats are lies. Palestinians have not lived in the land for the last 2,000 years. That is a complete lie. Palestinians are not native to the land called Palestine. Palestine is the Latin form of the word Philistine. The original Philistines were destroyed in about 300 B.C. There are no descendants of the Philistines. Much of Israeli land was purchased between 1910 and 1930, and for a time, Jewish immigration to Palestine was actually encouraged by Britain and even the surrounding Arab nations.
It was actually the British that caved in to pressure from the Arab nations to limit the growing Jewish Immigration. In 1939 the British government issued the infamous White Paper, which capped Jewish immigration to 75,000 over five years and required Arab consent for further immigration. The Vatican historically rejected Zionism as a theological project, arguing that Jews did not have a divine mandate to re‑establish sovereignty in the Holy Land. Ironically, the scriptures say the exact opposite.
As I have said before, and will continue to say:
For the last 2,000 years, every single generation has had an excuse to hate Jews. Genocide against Palestine is this generation’s excuse, nothing more.
While Israelis have not made every correct decision, they have faced constant resistance from the entire world virtually from the time they became a nation in 1948. Israel would be attacked by their enemies, and the United Nations would criticize them for fighting back. NO NATION has faced more opposition from the world than Israel. Depending on the UN body, between 40% and 67% of all country-specific resolutions passed concerns one nation: Israel.
Former UN Secretary‑General Kofi Annan acknowledged the perception of bias, noting that the UN appeared to “serve all the world’s people but one: the Jews”
America sits in a very precarious position. On the one hand, it is obvious that the only thing stopping the world from carrying out an attack on Israel is the fact that The United States is willing to defend them. But the question is, now that Trump has openly proven that his bark is worse than his bite, are we looking into a soon coming Ezekiel 38 attack. Many call this a war, but it is no war. It is an attack on the nation of Israel where God himself defends the nation without any help. Once that happens, there will be little doubt what happens to anyone who fights Israel.
It is quite obvious that the last day scenario is about to play out right in front of our eyes. As world leaders, including America line up the rapture could literally be any day now. More than ever, people are filling their hearts with hatred. Today is your chance, possibly your last chance, to humble yourself before a very real, very living God and accept his gift of salvation.
