The Famous Actress Speaks Out on What It’s Like to be Jewish in America

Mayim Bialik is an American actress, neuroscientist, author, and former game show host who gained fame for starring as Blossom Russo in the NBC sitcom “Blossom” (1991–1995) and as Amy Farrah Fowler in the CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” (2010–2019), where she played a neuroscientist and received multiple Emmy nominations for her performance. She has also hosted “Jeopardy!” and is known for her advocacy, authorship, and contributions to science communication and mental health awareness.

In addition to acting, Bialik holds a PhD in neuroscience from UCLA and has written several books, including works on parenting, veganism, and the experience of growing up as a girl. She is recognized for her involvement in Jewish community initiatives, advocacy for STEM education, and active presence in media through her podcast and interviews.

Her Controversial Claim

In this video Ms. Bialik claims that students at her alma mater, University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) students gathered in the quad in front of the Royce Hall and repeatedly chanted “We want a Jewish genocide!”.quad (short for quadrangle) is an open, often grassy, rectangular or square area surrounded by buildings on a college or university campus.

Now it is important to note that her accusations have been widely disputed; my personal opinion is however, I’m inclined to believe Ms. Bialik, considering the deeply toxic antisemitic rhetoric that comes from modern colleges. And coupled with today’s legacy media who has been known to support and defend outrageous behavior doesn’t lend a lot of credibility to media sources.

Mayim Bialik claimed that at her alma mater UCLA, some people were chanting “We want a Jewish genocide.” However, this claim has been widely disputed and is not supported by credible news reports. According to fact-checking and analyses, the actual chant at UCLA protests was “We charge you with genocide,” aimed at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in relation to the conflict in Gaza, not a call for Jewish genocide.

Recently legacy media sources have repeated claimed riots in California were ‘mostly peaceful protests’ despite the fact other media outlets were posting photographs of burning police cars. This most definitely shows a media bias against anything that would cast the state itself in a bad light.

In This Video, She expresses:

  • A feeling of being unprepared and overwhelmed by the current climate, stating that nothing in her lifetime has prepared her for the experience.
  • The situation feels like a massacre of an ethnic or religious group on the scale of 50,000 Americans, followed by global marches calling for further massacres of those people, which she finds unimaginable.
  • A sense that the world has been swift to redefine terrorism, statehood, and the right of a people to exist following the massacre of Jewish civilians.
  • Astonishment and dismay that her alma mater, UCLA would allow students to chant “We want a Jewish genocide!” without any fear of retribution from the college.
  • A realization that her previous concerns about growing antisemitism and the world forgetting the Holocaust were not paranoid, as she had been told.
  • Disappointment that it doesn’t matter if one is left-wing or right-wing, supports a Palestinian state, or speaks out against injustice; certain people remain intent on a “Jewish genocide”.
  • Alarm at the lack of denouncement from universities regarding organizations celebrating the massacre of Jewish people or inciting violence against them.
  • Fear for her 18-year-old child preparing for college and concerns about their safety and freedom to express their Jewish identity.
  • A growing understanding that Israel feels more like a homeland and that she feels like “a stranger in a strange land” in America since October 7th.
  • Deep disappointment in institutions she once held sacred and a devastating lack of humanity.
  • Rejection of the notion that the recent events are a “comeuppance” for Jewish people, explicitly stating that decolonialize should not involve atrocities like “decapitated babies” or “raped women being paraded around”. She also clarifies that the goal of the terrorist organization is to eliminate the Jewish people, not just the Jewish state.
  • She concludes by expressing gratitude to those who support the Jewish people and decency, compassion, love, and the hope of peace, describing the current period as a “nightmare that we cannot wake up from”.

The Why Behind It All

So why have Jews been the target of two millennia of hatred and persecution? Why has the entire world grown this obsessive hatred for the Jews? Why does it genuinely appear as if the entire world is ready to rise up and wipe Israel off the map once and for all?

Do not take what I’m about to say lightly. Ponder and consider this: The realization of what I’m about to say will absolutely change your life forever and change how you view the world.

There is nothing on the face of the earth that proves the existence of God, and the truth of the Bible like the Jew

The Jewish people are a living testament to the truth of the Bible. And the fact that they’ve been hunted, persecuted, murdered and hated proves the Bible 100% true. If God was really this well perpetrated myth, there would be no such thing as a Jew. From the beginnings of time, God had to choose a group of people who could usher in a Messiah. For that, he needed a race of people that would make a covenant with him; a group of people that agree to follow him and he would be their God, and they would be his people. That was and to this day is, the Jew.

I am personally surprised at what I see is willful ignorance among Christians to believe that the modern Jewish race has been rejected by God. For those people, I can only think of two reasons why they would come to such a ridiculous conclusion: They do not read their Bibles at all, and instead depend of others to teach them, and they are led astray by their teachers/preachers/ministers. Two: they harbor some sort of secret jealousy over God’s special relationship with the Jews. Jealousy can be a very hurtful and anger provoking emotion.

1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”? 4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
7 What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, 8 as it is written:
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that could not see
and ears that could not hear,
to this very day.”
9 And David says:
“May their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
10 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
and their backs be bent forever.”
Ingrafted Branches
11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring! – Romans – 11:1-12 NIV

How someone could ignore this passage of scripture, and believe that the Jews are no longer relevant in God’s plan is nothing short of complete and utter ignorance of God’s word. But it only highlights the way Satan is fighting with every effort to discredit the Jews, persecute them, and murder them.

This persecution that has gone on for over 2,000 years is a direct result of Satan’s hatred for the Jewish people, and as the world grows more evil, it is only natural that antisemitism is also on the rise. Because of what they represent: A living, breathing, fulfillment of Bible prophecy. A group of people that, once fully considered in light of the Bible can lead to one conclusion and one conclusion only: The Bible is accurate in its claims, and God exists because these claims were made well in advance to the events that has occurred.

Think of this: Modern scientists have based their world view that nothing, nothing is ever of supernatural origin. That is a scientist is lock into this opinion that everything has a completely natural explanation and it is the duty of the scientist to ignore the possibility of a supernatural conclusion.

And we know that to be true. Yet scientists to this day cannot accurately explain the most basic of things, such as the Cambrian Explosion. The Cambrian layer is the first layer of rock that contains animal fossils. The layer before that has no fossils except for some basic micro-organisms. But then, as if a sudden explosion has occurred, fully formed, intricate fossils are found of almost every kind of beast.

Ai research:

Yes, you are correct! The layer you’re referring to is known as the Cambrian layer, and the phenomenon is called the Cambrian Explosion.

  • The Cambrian Period is part of the Paleozoic Era and dates to about 541–485 million years ago.
  • The Cambrian Explosion refers to a relatively brief time in geological history (about 541–520 million years ago) when a remarkable diversity of fully formed, complex, multicellular animal fossils suddenly appear in the fossil record.
  • This “explosion” of life includes the first appearance of many major animal groups (phyla), with complex features like eyes, hard shells, jointed appendages, and specialized organs.
  • Before the Cambrian, fossils are mainly simple organisms (like bacteria, algae, and simple multicellular forms) often found in what’s called the Precambrian or Ediacaran layers.

So, the Cambrian layer is the strata in which you first find abundant, well-preserved, and fully formed animal fossils, making the “Cambrian Explosion” one of the most significant events in the history of life on Earth.

These type of events cannot be explained away, unless you incorporate the simple explanation: Due to the sin of man, death was introduced into the earth.

The Jew is the very same! Unless you incorporate the Bible, the Israelites have no explanation. Why have they been the target of hatred for so very, very long? No other group of people on the earth have been the constant subject of persecution other than the Jewish people: NO other group!!

Again, Ai research:

That is a fair and historically supported assessment. Over the last 2,000 years, the Jewish people have indeed faced persistent and widespread persecution, often unparalleled in both duration and breadth compared to other groups. Some key points that support this view:

  • The Jewish diaspora began with expulsions and conquests in ancient times, leading to Jewish communities spread across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
  • Antisemitism in Christian Europe led to repeated expulsions, pogroms, forced conversions, and massacres in countries such as England, France, Spain, Russia, and Germany.
  • Muslim-ruled lands also featured long periods of discrimination or violence, with fluctuating degrees of oppression and tolerance, especially as political climates changed.
  • The Holocaust during World War II was the most devastating event, with six million Jews systematically murdered by the Nazis—the largest targeted genocide of a single ethnicity/religion in modern times.
  • After the Holocaust, antisemitism did not disappear; incidents occur worldwide to this day, including hate crimes, terror attacks, vandalism, persistent conspiracy theories, and discrimination in many societies.
  • Jews have often been scapegoated for economic, social, and political problems in host countries and have been targeted regardless of the prevailing political or religious ideology.

While other groups have also suffered intense persecution and targeted violence (e.g., Armenians, Roma, various Christian sects, and, in recent times, Rohingya, Uyghurs, etc.), the Jewish experience is distinguished by both its length over millennia and its recurrence across almost every country and culture where Jewish communities have resided.

In summary: the claim that no group has been a more constant source of persecution over the last two millennia than the Jewish people is widely recognized by historians and supported by the historical record.

For the last 2,000 years, every generation has had an excuse to hate Jews. Genocide against Palestine is this generation’s excuse, nothing more.

In Summary:

The Bible specifically mentions a time: in the Old Testament, a prophet named Zechariah is given a prediction, a view into late 2025. And he sees exactly what is happening in this day a time, and he writes about it.

The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares: 2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. – Zechariah 12:1-3 NIV

The antisemitism we see like the outbreak of a plague on modern society is predicted right here. Jerusalem, the capitol city of the nation of Israel, has become an immovable rock. The world has demanded a Palestinian state, and Prime Minister Netanyahu has said an unequivocable NO. But this is not the verse that should be grabbing your attention, but the next verse. This passage has come to pass within the period from September of this year until now. I think it’s prudent to look at the next passage:

4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the LORD. “I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. 5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the LORD Almighty is their God.’
6On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place. – Zechariah 12:4-6 NIV

I will leave you to think about that.

One response to “Actress Mayim Bialik Claims College Students Chanted “We Want a Jewish Genocide””

  1. […] The history of the Jewish people was written around 3,000 years ago or more. It’s not my intention to give examples of that here, but I have written several articles on Antisemitism. But the one story that stood out to me the most was  Actress Mayim Bialik Claims College Students Chanted “We Want a Jewish Genocide” […]
