Modern Day Antisemitism Has Nothing to do With Israel

Some truths face just as much resistance as lies. After all, this world isn’t our true home. As Christians, we often find ourselves in situations where the truth is pushed aside, while lies are more readily accepted.

For the last 2,000 years, every generation has had an excuse for hating Jews; Genocide against Palestine is this generation’s excuse, nothing more.

No matter your background, faith, or personal outlook, if you harbor hatred toward Jewish people and are often labeled as antisemitic, the issue runs far deeper than simple hatred. Antisemitism isn’t about the actions of Jewish individuals or the nation of Israel.

Antisemitism is a form of hatred. Throughout history, no other group has faced as much persecution as the Jewish people. And despite what some may claim, there are no Bible scriptures that grant anyone the right to hate them.

That is a fair and historically supported assessment. Over the last 2,000 years, the Jewish people have indeed faced persistent and widespread persecution, often unparalleled in both duration and breadth compared to other groups. Some key points that support this view:

The Jewish diaspora began with expulsions and conquests in ancient times, leading to Jewish communities spread across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Antisemitism in Christian Europe led to repeated expulsions, pogroms, forced conversions, and massacres in countries such as England, France, Spain, Russia, and Germany.
Muslim-ruled lands also featured long periods of discrimination or violence, with fluctuating degrees of oppression and tolerance, especially as political climates changed.
The Holocaust during World War II was the most devastating event, with six million Jews systematically murdered by the Nazis—the largest targeted genocide of a single ethnicity/religion in modern times.
After the Holocaust, antisemitism did not disappear; incidents occur worldwide to this day, including hate crimes, terror attacks, vandalism, persistent conspiracy theories, and discrimination in many societies.
Jews have often been scapegoated for economic, social, and political problems in host countries and have been targeted regardless of the prevailing political or religious ideology.

While other groups have also suffered intense persecution and targeted violence (e.g., Armenians, Roma, various Christian sects, and, in recent times, Rohingya, Uyghurs, etc.), the Jewish experience is distinguished by both its length over millennia and its recurrence across almost every country and culture where Jewish communities have resided.

In summary: the claim that no group has been a more constant source of persecution over the last two millennia than the Jewish people is widely recognized by historians and supported by the historical record.

It never fails to amaze me how some people who call themselves Christian can justify hatred of a Jew. Let me ask you one thing: How, on what planet, does “Love thy neighbor as thyself” mean it’s ok to hate anyone? How can “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, somehow translate into harassment, bullying, intimidation, and even murder? Are you really saying that it’s acceptable to do evil that good may come?

Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (Bar-Ilan University).

In a comprehensive study, The Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies released its study “Debunking the Genocide Allegations: A Reexamination of the Israel-Hamas War (2023–2025)” on September 3, 2025.

No systematic starvation policy: The study argued that claims of deliberate famine were based on misquoted UN figures. It said pre-war Gaza averaged ~73 food trucks per day, while during the war Israel allowed ~109 trucks daily on average.
Civilian casualty data disputed: The authors claimed Hamas’s Health Ministry counted all casualties — including militants — as civilians, inflating numbers.
No evidence of organized genocide policy: While acknowledging isolated misconduct, the report said there was no top-down directive to deliberately target civilians.
Local agriculture overstated: The study challenged claims that Gaza relied heavily on local farming, suggesting it was less than 12% of caloric intake.

In fact, British officials have repeatedly said they do not believe the legal threshold for genocide has been met. Instead, they frame the crisis as a humanitarian catastrophe and emphasize violations of international humanitarian law but stop short of using the word “genocide.”

And this tired, myth that Israel is guilty of genocide is truly nothing, absolutely nothing more than an excuse. Many credible sources, including those in the United Nations have investigate this accusation on several occasions and no evidence has been found. During World War II, photos and video evidence was primitive in comparison with modern day technology. Yet no one has any photos or videos of Palestinians being lined up in front of a deep pit and being shot. But during WWII, people took photos and videos.

I myself have a video camera about the size of a matchbox. It is literally small enough to fit inside a closed hand. I’ve seen miniature cameras that look like ink pens. You click the pen as if you’re going to write, and it takes a photo. And it actually writes as well. Yet no photos, no videos have been smuggled out of Gaza to expose the truth about the ‘horrible Jews.’

In fact, the exact opposite is true. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) often fly over and drop information papers letting civilians know of upcoming strikes. They even go as far as firing dummy missiles, so that civilians know exactly where missiles are likely to hit.

No other country in the history of the world has had to fight wars with the kind of restrictions as the Jews. During the Yom Kippur War in October 1973, Egypt and Syria launched a surprise attack on Israel during Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in Judaism. After initial setbacks, Israel struck back hard, pushing Egyptian forces back across the Suez Canal and advancing deep into Syrian territory.

Many countries condemned Israel’s counteroffensive once it crossed into Egyptian and Syrian territory, arguing Israel had gone beyond defense into aggression. This is the moment when Israel was criticized internationally for striking back after being attacked. The UN Security Council passed Resolution 338, calling for an immediate ceasefire and negotiations. No condemnations were ever passed for Syria and Egypt. Yet every year, millions of our tax dollars go to support the United Nations, one of the most antisemitic organizations in the world.

I for one, think it’s time we consider whether or not we fund an antisemitic group like the United Nations.

The Dual Cause of Antisemitism

As I have said many times, there is nothing that conclusively proves the existence of God like the Jewish people. The Bible is a two-way mirror; hold it up and look at it, and it will show you the world as it really is. Gaze deeper and you see an image of its Creator. The Bible gives us a historically accurate, complete view of the world. And that is why Satan hates the Jews. When you consider the Nazi party activities in WWII Germany,it becomes obvious that evil targets the Jewish people. Good people don’t hate Jews, only evil people.

As for why Muslims hate Jews, feel free to draw your own conclusions. Islam was based on the moon god Baal. While they strenuously object to this comparison,the truth is that many of their traditions can be traced directly back to the moon god. Every year, Muslims make a pilgrimage to a city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. While there they participate in a ritual called Tawaf.

It is a practice where they walk circles around a stone known as Black Stone (al-Ḥajar al-Aswad). However, historians have pointed out the similarity of ancient moon god worshippers thatwould circle a sacred stone which represented the moon’s orbit around the earth. And how can one ignore that fact that most every mosque has the crescent moon as part of the main symbols.

God’s People, Once and Forever

⁷ “I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you. ⁸ And I will give the entire land of Canaan, where you now live as a foreigner, to you and your descendants. It will be their possession forever, and I will be their God.” – Genesis 17:7-8 NLT

Early on God makes a covenant with Abraham; in that covenant, God promises his covenant from generation to generation. He says “I will always be your God” and calls his covenant ‘everlasting’. Yet some people try their best to twist scripture and make up outright lies in order to claim that the Jewish people are not the true descendants of Abraham. And it does no good to reason with these people. I call them ‘Delightfully Deceived’ in that they not only believe a lie, but cling to that lie even when the truth is presented to them.

But has God forgotten his people? Has God, as some so-called Christians claim, replaced the Jewish people with the church?

¹ I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. ² God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: ³ “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”?

⁴ And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” ⁵ So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. ⁶ And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
⁷ What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, ⁸ as it is written:
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that could not see
and ears that could not hear,
to this very day.”
⁹ And David says:
“May their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
¹⁰ May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
and their backs be bent forever.”
Ingrafted Branches

¹¹ Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. ¹² But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring! – Romans 11:1-12 NIV

God has not thrown off his people Israel for the Gentile Church! In fact, the scripture says plainly that a day will come when the Jewish people accept their Messiah. And in that day, the plan of God is accomplished, and that will bring even greater riches to the family of God.

So, we see the first reason people cling to this hatred for God’s chosen people. Because they represent a tangible, undeniable proof that God exists, and the Bible is 100% true. And because Satan hates God and all that he stands for, the world hates the Jew.

The Fate of the Jewish People was Predicted Long Ago

In the time of Moses, God put together an extensive covenant with the Jewish people. This covenant promised blessing beyond measure for their obedience and warned of dire consequences for their disobedience. Unfortunately, over time, Satan creeped into this nation of people and through a series of evil Kings, foreign invaders and war, mixed Satan worship, fornication, murder, theft and injustice throughout the people of Israel.

Time and time again, the Israelites would fall into captivity, beg God for their rescue, only to repeat the whole experience. For anyone interested in such history, a fascinating study is included in the Bible, 1st and 2nd Kings, 1st and 2nd Chronicles. While these may be somewhat dry to the average reader, for someone interested in the history of the ancient Jews will savor these pages.

And over time, their sins became more and more egregious; amazingly to the point where God himself claims that things are being done that even he would never imagine.

“They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I never commanded—nor did it enter my mind—that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin.” – Jeremiah 32:35 NIV

God says that the idea of sacrificing their own children, was something it never even entered in His mind to do shows His truly peaceful and loving nature. And for people who he had claimed for his own to do those things was grieving His heart.

It was incidents like those, and the hard-heartedness of the Israelites that let God to exact such terrible punishment on them and their descendants. But even then, God knew a time was coming when the Jewish people would be redeemed. And that day is nearly at hand.

Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence

It is a hard truth Scripture doesn’t hide: if Israel persisted in covenant disobedience, God warned of scattering among the nations, humiliation, and hostility. Below is a curated set of passages that explicitly predict dispersion and persecution, organized for clarity and depth.

Foundational covenant warnings in the Torah

Deuteronomy 4:27 (early dispersion warning): Predicts the Lord will scatter them among the peoples, leaving only a few in distant lands. This anticipates Deuteronomy 28’s fuller treatment.

Deuteronomy 28 (curses for disobedience): Predicts defeat, terror among kingdoms, foreign domination, siege, and deep humiliation; culminates in dispersion and scorn among the nations.

Deut 28:25–26; 33–37; 43–45; 48–55 detail terror, oppression, foreign conquest, and becoming “a horror, a proverb, and a taunt” among the peoples.
Deut 28:64 explicitly foresees scattering “from one end of the earth to the other,” linked to serving foreign gods.

Leviticus 26:33 (parallel covenant warning): Foretells that God will scatter Israel among the nations and draw out the sword (context: breaking the covenant). It is a central Torah parallel to Deuteronomy 28 and frames prophetic warnings that follow.

³³ I will scatter you among the nations and will draw out my sword and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste, and your cities will lie in ruins – Leviticus 26:33 NIV

¹³ The LORD said, “It is because they have forsaken my law, which I set before them; they have not obeyed me or followed my law. ¹⁴ Instead, they have followed the stubbornness of their hearts; they have followed the Baals, as their ancestors taught them.”

¹⁵ Therefore this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “See, I will make this people eat bitter food and drink poisoned water. ¹⁶ I will scatter them among nations that neither they nor their ancestors have known, and I will pursue them with the sword until I have made an end of them.” – Jeremiah 9:13-16 NIV

It is important to note that God is not talking about wiping out the entire Jewish race; in fact, God has made it clear throughout the Old Testament that he has kept a remnant for himself. He is talking about those who have become the target of his anger. Those who led the people astray.

¹⁵ “They will know that I am the LORD, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries. ¹⁶ But I will spare a few of them from the sword, famine and plague, so that in the nations where they go they may acknowledge all their detestable practices. – Ezekiel 12:15-16 NIV

²³ Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the wilderness that I would disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries, ²⁴ because they had not obeyed my laws but had rejected my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths, and their eyes lusted after their parents’ idols. – Ezekiel 20:23-24 NIV

¹⁵ I will disperse you among the nations and scatter you through the countries; and I will put an end to your uncleanness. ¹⁶ When you have been defiled in the eyes of the nations, you will know that I am the LORD.’” – Ezekiel 22:15-16 NIV

My God will reject them because they have not obeyed him; they will be wanderers among the nations. – Hosea 9:17 NIV

Prophetic confirmations of dispersion and hostility

Jeremiah’s indictments and outcomes:
- Jer 9:16: “I will scatter them among nations… and send the sword after them” — a direct echo of covenant curses.
- Jer 7:31; 32:35: Child sacrifice is condemned as unthinkable to God; the judgment context includes siege, exile, and horror among nations (the moral cause linked to the covenant warnings).
Ezekiel’s dispersion clauses:
- Ezek 20:23; 22:15; 12:15: God swears to scatter them among nations and disperse them through countries, associating dispersion with profaning His name and covenant breaches.
Hosea and Amos (northern kingdom emphasis):
- Hos 9:17: “My God will reject them… they shall be wanderers among the nations.”
- Amos 9:9: Israel sifted among the nations (discipline with preserving a remnant).
Zechariah’s post-exilic reflection:
- Zech 7:14: The Lord “scattered them” with a whirlwind among all nations, leaving the land desolate — a retrospective validation of earlier warnings.

Specific persecution and humiliation language

Becoming a byword and terror: Deut 28:25–26; 36–37 portray Israel as an “example of terror,” “a proverb,” and “a taunt” among all the peoples where the Lord drives them, matching the theme of widespread contempt and vulnerability in foreign lands.
Foreign domination and social inversion: Deut 28:43–45 describes resident aliens rising “higher and higher” while Israel goes “lower and lower,” symbolizing subjugation and loss of standing.
Siege-induced horrors: Deut 28:48–55 predicts extreme suffering in siege, capturing the depths of judgment that the prophets later reference.

These passages aren’t endorsing hatred; they are warning a people of the grave consequences of their actions. These are a group of people whom the Messiah is entrusted; they have an awesome responsibility to usher in the savior of the world. Their failure would be mean the end of hope for humanity.

All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the LORD your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you. ⁴⁶ They will be a sign and a wonder to you and your descendants forever. ⁴⁷ Because you did not serve the LORD your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,

⁴⁸ therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the LORD sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
⁴⁹ The LORD will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand, ⁵⁰ a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young. Deuteronomy 28:45-50 NIV

And there are many more. I would be remiss not to mention one of the most revealing, the most chilling and horrific verses in the Bible. The scripture that points directly to the holocaust:

²⁴ Instead of perfume there will be rottenness;
and instead of a belt, a rope;
and instead of well-set hair, baldness;
and instead of a rich robe, a skirt of sackcloth;
and branding instead of beauty.
²⁵ Your men shall fall by the sword
and your mighty men in battle. – Isaiah 3:24-25 ESV

Is there any more to say? How much more information is needed to prove a point? But the vast majority of people go right past these stunning prophecies and cling to the darkness rather than recognize the light. Because their deeds are evil, and their homes are in the darkness. The darkness envelopes them, and they find comfort there and strength. But their comforter is evil, and their minds are depraved. And though they may thirst for truth, water is poured out on the ground in front of them, for they refuse to drink.

In Conclusion:

If I believed that one article could take away antisemitism, I pray to God this would be it. But there isn’t going to be an enlightenment of the modern people. As I just said, and I believe it to be a Word from God, they enjoy and find comfort in darkness rather than the light. Instead, I fear articles like these only serve as a witness against them. So, when the day of the Lord has come, they have no excuse for their actions.
