10 September 2026: One year ago, Charlie Kirk was allegedly assassinated by Tyler James Robinson. Kirk was holding one of his Turning Point USA campus events. But the question is, what have we learned from this young man’s death?
A Year of Unmasking
Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who substitute darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who substitute bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.

who are champions at pouring beer,

We live in a poisonous cultural climate these days, where free speech is justification for murder. In a twisted, evil, depraved state of mind, people actually justify murder on the basis that someone said something that might cause someone to be offended. Let me tell you what offends me: Murder! That offends me to no end. When you take it upon yourself to end someone’s life for the simple reason you disagree with their point of view, I’m offended with you.
We live in a time:
- People celebrate the death of people who offend them.
- People condemn punishment for murder.
- People praise chaos and hate authority.
- People elevate grievance and condemn what is good.
In a way, we are fortunate above all other people in the history of the world. We are living in the very last period of time, and we can like no other group of people on earth can look back and see how accurately the Bible has predicted the future. But at the same time, we live in a time of the most evil generation the world has never known. The moral decay Scripture predicts is no longer a prediction: It is mainstream.
The liberal mindset has taken over the minds and souls of a large group of the population, where the mindset is the end justifies the means, no matter how evil those means are. Jesus predicted the end of days would mirror those of Noah’s time. That is no longer a prediction: It has come to pass.
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. – Genesis 6:5-6 KJV
Charlie Kirk died for one thing above all else: He wasn’t afraid to point out the depravity of the world. But little did these evil people realize; when Charlie Kirk died, his mantle fell on thousands of us. We picked that mantle up and now carry it forward.

A Year of Situational Ethics
In this past year, facts have become optional. No longer does the world embrace a clear moral code. As we have seen recently, women are rebelling against the idea that killing a child is wrong. They actually advocate this depraved notion that mental illness is an excuse for murder. No, evil is the reason for murder. People who completely turn their backs on God, to go as far as attempt to deny the existence of God. Those people have been given over to a depraved mindset, and once that occurs, there is no limit to the depths of their depravity:
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. – Romans 1:28 NIV
We live in a time where media bias is no longer disputed or denied. The media is openly hostile to the present administration, conservative values and the traditional family. And they have demonstrated complete hatred for Jews, Christians, religion, and the Bible. And no wonder. The Bible is doing exactly what it is predicted to do in the last days. Just as they killed Jesus because he exposed their deeds as evil, so today, the mainstream media condemns anything having to do with the Bible because the Bible is exposing their evil deeds.

The Cultural Decay Isn’t Political – It’s Spiritual

The world we live in today is predicted in the Bible. In fact, there is more written about the times we are currently living in than any other time, including the days when Jesus walked this earth. Everything from crime to Global Warming, to lawlessness. And it’s all been predicted.
1 But know this: Hard times will come in the last days. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people. – 2 Timothy 3:1-5 CSB
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, – Romans 1:24-25 KJV
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. – Matthew 24:12 KJV
What we are seeing now is the evidence of these Scriptures coming to pass. A group of degenerates who praise the killing of Charlie Kirk, simply because he uncovered their disgraceful acts and pointed out the fact that such behavior is wrong, but not only wrong, but the result of an evil mind. But as Charlie always did, he condemned the acts, not the people who did them.
Therefore God delivered them over in the desires of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served what has been created instead of the Creator, who is praised forever. Amen. – Romans 1:24-25 CSB
There has been a flood of false allegations leveled against Charlie Kirk, but none of these supposed statements have been proven true. Kirk condemned the actions of these people but was a man who tried to shine a light into darkness and was killed for his efforts.
What We’ve Actually Learned
We have seen a divide in this country that cannot be healed. And to be frank about it, this is something that I refuse to compromise over. This divide is moral, not political. In a way, I blame Republicans for this. The Democrats are what they are, at least they don’t come as wolves in sheep’s clothing. But it is those Republicans, the conservatives, that I feel has betrayed us more. This divide in the country today is good versus evil.
People are not disagreeing over policy; they are disagreeing over what is good and what is evil. It is two completely different worldviews, and they are not compatible with each other. One view sees man as basically good. The evil that a person does isn’t coming from inside the heart, it’s actually outside influences that causes man to go against his good nature and do evil. This is nothing short of ridiculous: The idea that moms kill their babies over the lack of access to abortion is tantamount to saying the reason people drown is too much water.
The foolish idea that we try to meet “in the middle” and try to find common ground has been proven to be impossible. I don’t want to meet in the middle. Compromise is a dirty word as far as I’m concerned. We are on a road that has no turns. There is no way back. And that is the truth of the matter that we all must face. We are riding on a bus down a one-way road to hell, and one lunatic at the wheel is pretty much good as another.
Silence is Complicity
The one thing we can take away from the death of Charlie Kirk is this: As you stay silent, afraid to voice your opinion, living in fear of telling the truth to the world about the world, as you sit there in silence, you are actually complicit in the evil acts of the world. People who stay silent in fear are actually giving a green light for these despicable acts to continue. It is time for every one of us to be counted: We must take our place and stand up for what we believe in.
The Bible warnings aren’t metaphorical, they are real. They are literal.
Where This Leaves Us
One year later, and the world is darker. The moral lines in the sand are even more clear. The stakes are higher than ever before, and the need for courage is greater than ever. This is the point that you should take to heart like never before. This is a time in your life like never before. You can be the hero you’ve always wanted to be. Now is the time to take a stand for what you believe most. Don’t fear what this world might do to you; the fact of the matter is this world cannot hurt you in the least.
The Christian can live in total peace. There is absolutely nothing that a human being, a group of humans, or the government. No matter what, your salvation is safe in Jesus. The absolute worst thing a person can do to you is kill your body. Then you will immediately be taken into the presence of God Almighty himself! What kind of deal is that? That sounds more like a reward than a punishment! So, fear not! Stand up, speak your mind, and don’t worry about this world. If you’re jailed for speaking the truth, be glad that God has counted you worthy to suffer for the name of Jesus.
We live in a time where very few hearts can be changed. This is a time where the Gospel is preached as a witness to the world. But it is our mission like never before to pick up the mantle left behind by Charlie Kirk, and try to find every single open heart we can find before the final day; what a glorious time that will be!
