Nearly Three Years After her Death
5 June, 2026: Nearly three years after her death, the truth about little Sy’kia Epps, the 9-month-old daughter of Kentucky resident Syied Malik-Kawon Epps, 31, has finally come to light. Epps has plead guilty to murder. What is shocking is the manner of death and the fact it was Epps’ other children who finally came forward with the truth on how 9-month-old Sy’kia died.
“All three stated that Mr. Epps had dropped their sister on her head,” Hogan testified. “One articulated … ‘Daddy smashed her on her head really hard and she was upside down.’”
It seems this wasn’t the first time Epps had taken his anger out on the kids. During a phone argument with the mother of the children, it is alleged that Epps referred to his children as “roaches”, and threaten to make them stand on the front porch until she arrived if she was late.
A Shocking Plea Deal
Epps is scheduled for court on July 1st. According to media reports he is going to plead guilty in exchange, the prosecution will recommend a 25 year sentence.
The Love of Many Will Grow Cold
There was a time when it was a rare event indeed to hear that a parent had taken the life of their child. Unfortunately in this day and time, hardly a week goes by without a gruesome story such as this in the news. But the question is, what causes parents to even contemplate, much less carry out such horrible violent deeds? There are two predictions made about the end times that tell us why these things happen. No, we’ll never know the exact reason Epps had such anger focused against his own children and the little 9-month-old in particular.
But we can look at the alarming trend and see exactly why these things have become a part of society in which we live.

Some people have felt the passage “Without Natural Affection” applied to homosexuals. However as the time of Jesus’ return draws near, we can see a new meaning in this phrase. What could be more natural than a mother’s or father’s love for a child, especially a baby?

We see a definite trend in society. The cold-heartedness of the world is growing every day.
