As The Death Toll Passes 2,000, Experts Are Getting Worried
12 August, 2026: For months now, Doctors and government workers have battled Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). And for the most part it has been a losing battle. Despite their best efforts, authorities cannot contain Ebola, which now threatens to spiral out of control. This virus has spread rapidly especially in northern and eastern DRC, with a total of 4,381 confirmed cases.
“There’s a lot of people who live there. So this is not breaking out in a town of 50, but in rural cities of hundreds of thousands,” – David Wohl, MD, a professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, told Fox News Digital.
Wohl has called this outbreak a “perfect storm” of adverse conditions. He points to the difficulties of getting containment of this deadly disease. This outbreak has reached densely populated areas, and with the fact that the gestation period is from 2 to 21 days from the time of exposure to the virus, it’s easy to see how this virus could get out of control very quickly. On average, symptoms typically begin to appear within 8 to 10 days. Individuals infected with the virus are not contagious until they actually develop symptoms.
The Convergence of All The Signs
Earlier I wrote about the potential catastrophe if Ebola took hold in the nation’s homeless population. It would threaten major cities if the outbreak occurred. This article only suggests Americans should stay alert without panicking. However, should this disease get hold in our homeless population, it would wreak havoc on our major cities as a whole.
The Bible tells us of ‘pestilence’; while the modern translation of this suggest outbreaks of insects, pestilence as meant in the Bible describes various diseases. This is best Illustrated by the Christian Standard Bible:
Then he told them, “Nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be violent earthquakes, and famines and plagues in various places, and there will be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven. – Luke 21:10-11 CSB
The times are getting so close, so obvious that there is hardly any need for interpretation. All that is needed is an understanding of the Bible. The situation in the Middle East is of such a nature that we’re watching Ezekiel unfold in real time. This taken along with all the Bible prophecies being fulfilled, such as wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, and the signs in the skies, sun and moon, there can be little doubt into the time in which we live.
The question becomes are you going to be the one who catches the signs, or someone who ignores the obvious?
