What’s a moment when you realized you were officially an adult?
There’s a part of you that never grew up. There’s a part of you that will always be that young person that you once were. So, I can’t say it was exactly the day before yesterday, but I can say that I’m 62 years old, and my body does not operate like an like a child anymore.
People who say they don’t like children are people who’ve forgotten what it’s like to be a child. But as long as you remember that part of you that loved being a kid, that part is still there. And that part refuses to become an adult.
I often find it very amusing, when you ask someone how old they are, they will tell you the number of birthdays they’ve had. But the truth of the matter is, your body was once designed to live forever. Regardless of how old you are right now, your true age is in fact 11, right now. Your body is rejuvenating every cell. And the one part that takes the longest to rejuvenate is the human skeleton. It takes 11 years to replace every cell in your skeleton. So the oldest part about you in reality is 11 years old. But one day we will get that body again, that we have when we were young, and it will last us for an eternity and I’m certainly looking forward to that.
