 Chicago Out of Control, as Trump Criticizes Governor (30 August 2025)

Last weekend, 6 people were killed and 27 people wounded in the city of Chicago, and President Trump is giving the governor an ultimatum; get it fixed or we will. Shockingly, this was not the result of a single incident, but a spate of several violent, seemingly random events. It is exactly things like this that remind us of the Days of Noah.

• Multiple drive-by shootings, including one where a woman was shot in the eye while driving.
• Two men killed in a targeted shooting on South Maplewood Avenue.
• Several incidents involved people standing outside or driving when gunmen opened fire
• Victims ranged from ages 5 to 48, with many hospitalized in serious or critical condition

Why it’s Drawing Attention

The scale and randomness of the violence—some shootings stemmed from arguments, others were ambush-style. The political backdrop: President Trump is pushing to deploy the National Guard to Chicago, citing crime rates. Local leaders are pushing back hard, calling it unconstitutional and unnecessary. Violence prevention groups are scrambling to prepare for Labor Day weekend, fearing another spike. In my opinion, only a fool would say intervention is unnecessary.

It’s not a single mass shooting—it’s a mosaic of trauma, scattered across neighborhoods, stitched together by grief and unanswered questions. If you’re tracking societal decay and prophetic patterns, this weekend’s events feel like a grim echo—violence not as anomaly, but as symptom.

Earthquake Swarm Detected in Nevada (30 August 2025)

Another new earthquake swarm has been detected in Nevada. Over a dozen earthquakes have been detected in the last 24 hours, with a magnitude of at least 2.5. The largest was a 4.7 magnitude, located outside of Valmy, Nevada. While the USGS was quick to point out that Nevada was a very seismically active state, they can offer no explanation as to what may be causing this sudden swarm.

Scientists are puzzled over that fact that no clear trigger has been identified—no volcanic activity, no major tectonic shift, and no confirmed mining-induced stress (though Nevada is heavily mined). 

The swarm may be linked to crustal stretching, fluid movement, or stress transfer between faults—processes that can precede larger quakes or reveal hidden fault dynamics. Swarms like this can be precursors to larger seismic events—or they can fizzle out. That uncertainty is what keeps scientists alert. 

Jesus predicted earthquakes would occur in various places as his return draws near.

Faith on Trial: Seattle’s Concert and the Clash of Convictions (30 August 2025)

A Christian music concert in Seattle, Washington, has become the center of controversy. While members of the LGBTQ community want to remove any and all resemblance of religion from the city, plans are going ahead for the concert.

The event, “Revive in ’25” is scheduled to take place this weekend in Gas Works Park. Sean Feucht is a Christian singer and conservative activist, who led the “Let Us Worship” movement during the COVID-19 lockdowns protesting the restrictions on religious gatherings. Earlier this month, eight of Feucht’s concerts in Canada were cancelled over similar complaints.

Sean Feucht has been vocal on the movement in this country to highlight Gay and Lesbian lifestyles. Feucht believes, along with the vast majority of Christians, that some activities are inappropriate for exposure to children.

 Direct Quotes & Phrases That Sparked Backlash

• On Pride Month – Feucht has publicly called it “the month you discover which people, businesses, influencers, corporations & ministries have sold their soul to a demonic agenda seeking to destroy our culture and pervert our children”
• On LGBTQ inclusion in media – During the 2023 fight over Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law, he accused Disney of “actively fighting for children to be sexually indoctrinated”
• On corporate support for LGBTQ causes – He has threatened boycotts and public shaming of companies that celebrate Pride or support LGBTQ rights
• Event framing – He has led rallies explicitly described as “anti-LGBTQ protests” in the U.S., which opponents say go beyond theological disagreement and into targeted activism against the community.

It is now obvious that the LGBTQ community not only disagrees with Sean Feucht but is actively trying to shut down the 1st Amendment right to free speech. Feucht’s comments are not calling for violence, but LGBTQ seems to want to squash any and all voices in opposition. While Feucht’s comments reflect the frustration of many Christians who see public schools and curriculum ‘targeting’ young children, many Christians feel like they have become the focus of hatred towards them and their faith. 

Not only that, but the hatred toward Christianity in general has been under attack in recent years. This was predicted by Jesus himself. In fact, the whole idea that Jesus would say this in and of itself proves the authenticity of his claims. A man who was born in a barn, placed in a manger. He grows up under occupation of a foreign government and never travels more than 300 miles from the place of his birth. Yet this man sits down and tells his followers that someday, all nations will hate them because of him.

Jesus tells us of a time when members of your own household will turn against you because of your transformation through Christ. The world will hate you because of your decision. In fact, a great sign you are on the right track is who is opposing you. One thing I’ve always said was ‘the best way to judge someone is by who their enemies are’. That’s right: Your enemies can tell me a lot about you. The Bible tells us the day will come when the world hates anything having to do with godliness. Even inside the so-called religious community, they will deny the activity, beliefs and behaviors that lead to godliness.

 4 Treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. – 2 Timothy 3:4-5 ESV

Yet Another Earthquake: 5.9 Magnitude Shakes Alaska (28 August 2025)

Approximately 150 miles west of Adak, a remote settlement in the Aleutian Islands, the USGS reported a 5.9 magnitude earthquake at a depth of 83.1 miles. This kind of earthquake is considered intermediate to deep. This quake is part of a notable seismic sequence over the past few days:

August 26: Alaska: 5.1 magnitude at 32.6 km depth, Russia: 5.4 magnitude at 10 km depth

August 25: Kuril Islands: 6.1 magnitude at 10 km depth

August 22: Texas: 3.2 magnitude at 8.7 km depth, Drake Passage: 7.5 magnitude at 10.8 km depth

Tiny Sea Slug Closes Beaches in Spain (27 August 2025)

A creature that looks like some sort of mythical winged phantom, the Blue Dragon Sea Slug is a venomous sea creature that has a sting so powerful, it can even penetrate gloves. Usually, these slugs are never seen by humans, but climate shifts and changing ocean currents may be pushing them closer to shore more frequently. Their presence often signals deeper ecological patterns—like the movement of jellyfish or man o’ war populations, which they feed on.

According to police in Guardamar del Segura, Spain, beaches were closed twice in just one week due to the Blue Dragon’s presence. There has also been reports of these slugs on the beaches of Texas.

Pattern of Russian Earthquakes Shifts the Land Mass (27 August 2025)

The latest quake struck eastern Russia at 11:25 local time on Wednesday, registering a staggering magnitude of 8.8. This is the very same region, Kamchatka Peninsula, that was rocked by a similarly powerful earthquake on July 29. That quake triggered seven volcanic eruptions and shifted the landmass southeastward by nearly 2 meters. The Kamchatka region has seen multiple tremors in recent days, including a 6.0 quake just east of Severo-Kruil’sk and a 5.9 tremor south-southwest of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It’s like the earth there is groaning under some deep tectonic strain.

This is also part of the Pacific Rim, better known as the ‘Ring of Fire’. The Ring of Fire has been suffering some pretty unusual activity in the last several months.

These series of earthquakes are just another sign of the end times. “Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.” – Luke 21:10-11 NLT

Shooter in Minneapolis Targeted Catholics (27 August 2025)

A shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis tragically left two children dead and 17 others injured. The shooter opened fire during Morning Mass service, marking the first week of school for K-8 students. He fired through the church windows from outside, targeting children and worshipers inside. He was armed with a rifle, shotgun, and pistol, according to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara.

Two children, ages 8 and 10, were killed while sitting in the pews. Seventeen others were injured, including 14 children. Victims were treated at Hennepin Healthcare and Children’s Minnesota Hospital. Homeland Security and ATF agents are involved in the investigation.

The attacker was identified as a young man in his early 20s, reportedly using the names Robin Westman and Robert Westman. The FBI is investigating the shooting as a potential act of domestic terrorism and a hate crime targeting Catholics.  According to reports on Tousi TV, this man was a trans-gender person, who was presenting himself as a female, hence the name Robin Westman. This man had a large cache of weapons and even produced a manifesto. He was described as harboring hostility toward both Christianity and conservative politics. There are some unconfirmed reports that his mother, Mary Grace Westman, worked at the Catholic school.

On a video that has since been deleted, Westman had several antisemitic slogans including one that read, “Six Million isn’t enough.”

This is exactly what the Bible predicted in the last days! Many times, there has been events that has fulfilled Bible prophecy on a word-for-word basis. This is one of those times. I encourage you to read this passage from the Bible carefully, as it lays out in detail the mentality of Robert Westman.

19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So, they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. Why does the world scratch their heads in puzzlement about what is plainly written in the Bible? When people make the conscious decision to turn their backs on God, they set themselves on a course that ends in tragedy. The whole premise given to us by the world is that man is basically good. The Bible teaches us the opposite; that man left to his own devices, will always turn to iniquity. And obviously, as this incident proves, the Bible is correct.

Spiritual Delusion or Demonic Deception? The Tragedy at Atwood Lake (27 August 2025)

In an absolutely horrible story, an Amish woman in Ohio threw her 4-year-old child, Vincen Miller, into a lake, as a ‘sacrifice to God’. She claimed she was “giving him to God”, acting under what authorities describe as a state of spiritual delusion. Her husband, Marcus Miller, 45, reportedly believed he had failed a divine test and swam far into the lake alone. His body was found hours later.

According to reports, around 1 a.m. on Saturday, August 23rd, both parents jumped off the dock at Atwood Lake Campground as part of a supposed spiritual test. They returned to camp, believing they had failed. Marcus went back alone and drowned. Around 8:30 a.m., the mother (whose name is being withheld) returned with her 4-year-old son Vincen and drowned him. She also drove a golf cart with her other children into the lake. 

The mother was hospitalized for mental health treatment and is expected to face aggravated murder charges. The status of their other children is not known.

“They built the high places of Baal in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, though I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.” – Jeremiah 32:35 ESV

This is a glaring example of the Bible’s relevance in these last days. All throughout the New Testament, we see warnings of spiritual deception and doctrine of demons. Did this Amish couple really hear from a demon? Only those involved know for sure. One thing about the Amish tradition that can’t be ignored is their heavy reliance on Old Testament law and works-based righteousness: While many Amish profess faith in Jesus, their heavy reliance on following the law of Moses and emphasis on following traditions can easily cause a mentality that salvation must be earned. Such traditions, while rooted in reverence, can sometimes elevate external conformity above the inward transformation offered by grace. In other words, looking the part and playing the part becomes more important than what is in the heart.

God gave us specific instructions on what to do should we be confronted by a spirit who professes itself to be from God. 1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. – 1 John 4:1-3 NIV

Also, this same sentiment is given to us by the Apostle Paul who writes, 1 Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. – 1 Corinthians 12:1-3 NIV

The Bible gives us fair warnings about teachings that command us to abstain from certain foods, etc., as well as a sign of what will happen in the last days. 1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. – 1 Timothy 4:1-5 NIV

This isn’t telling us how to pray or what to eat: It’s telling us that in the last days there will be teachings that sound like faith, but in reality, will be straight from the mouths of demons. Such things as ‘proving yourself worthy’ was solely an Old Testament occurrence. Today. as Christians, the Spirit of God dwells within us; we have no need to prove ourselves worthy of anything, because we already know we’re not worthy. That is exactly why God sent his son Jesus to be that worthy sacrifice for us, that through Him we might be called the children of God.

The one thing that is always good to keep in mind is this. When Jesus is asked about the end times, about the signs of his coming, the first thing he talks about is deception. Of all the things, wars, famine, hatred, murder, the one thing that Jesus thought most important of all, was to warn his followers about deception in the end times.

3 Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?” 4 Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 5 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.” – Matthew 24:3-5 NLT

When faced with either a spirit or a person claiming to speak under the influence of God, the first question should always be “Is Jesus the Messiah, the Word of God made flesh?” No real demon will be able to acknowledge that. In fact, this should have been easily thwarted. As I said, God will never come to a person and challenge them to do something to prove their worthiness. As the Scriptures say, “there is none that doeth good, no, not one”. This isn’t superstition; it’s a real safeguard against deception.

Bible Prophecy Coming True: Israel Approves Settlement Plan (27 August 2025)

Israel’s final approval of a controversial settlement project in the E1 area, which lies east of Jerusalem – a region historically tied to Judea. The E1 corridor is part of the West Bank, which includes much of the biblical region of Judea and Samaria. The settlement plan would cut the West Bank in two, severely impacting Palestinian territorial continuity and hopes for a future state. 

The book of Joel 3:1 has a very shocking prophecy that is coming true right here in 2025. 1 “At the time of those events,” says the LORD, “when I restore the prosperity of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather the armies of the world into the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for harming my people, my special possession, for scattering my people among the nations, and for dividing up my land.” – Joel 3:1-2 NLT

This chilling prophecy tells us what could be happening in just the next few months. In 1967, the fortunes of Jerusalem were restored when Israel reclaimed their most favored and holy city. However, the West Bank, particularly the areas known as Judea and Samaria have never been fully restored to Israel. 

While the world debates legality and diplomacy, the spiritual undercurrent is unmistakable. The quote from Finance Minister Smotrich— “Every settlement, every neighborhood, every housing unit is another nail in the coffin of this dangerous idea [of a Palestinian state]”—isn’t just political rhetoric. It’s a declaration that territorial identity is being redefined, and that the ancient boundaries are stirring again.

Yet Another Earthquake: 7.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Drake Passage Near Antartica (27 August 2025)

A 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck the Drake Passage, the remote ocean stretch between South America and Antarctica. It occurred on Thursday, August 21st, at 11:16 p.m. local time, at a depth of about 6 miles (10 km) beneath the ocean floor. Despite its strength, no tsunami warning was issued. The quake’s offshore location and depth minimized risk to populated areas. The Drake Passage is sparsely inhabited but known for its rough seas and importance to maritime navigation. 

Residents in southern Chile and Argentina reported mild tremors, with some briefly evacuating homes. The event drew attention due to its rarity and intensity, though both countries are accustomed to seismic activity.

The increased earthquake activity in the world today is foretold in the Bible.  6 And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. – Matthew 24:6-7 NLT

An Epidemic of Neglect: Two Examples of Child Abuse (26 August 2025)

Juan Jose Benitez-Chacon, 34, a West Virginia resident and father is accused of leaving his 8-year-old son alone in a small garage for approximately a week. The child had no access to food, water, medical care, or even a bathroom during that time. Benitez-Chacon was reportedly traveling in Florida with no known return date. He was arrested on August 25 and charged with felony child neglect creating risk of injury or death. He is currently being held on $100,000 bond. 

Benitez-Chacon has a prior conviction for child neglect involving a then 6-year-old child left unsupervised while he drank alcohol. He was sentenced to one year probation. But this isn’t the only case of child abuse to come to light in recent weeks. In Pennsylvania, four children were found abandoned in a filthy home with no food and water. Their mother, Heidi Lynn Beer, and grandmother Leslie Ann Keller were both charged with multiple felonies for endangering the children. One report says the grandmother refused to go into the house because it was ‘too gross’.

Such callous disregard for the lives of their children is something that might be hard for some of us to understand. But unfortunately, this is exactly the type of behavior has become common. It has become the case where a child has much more to fear from a parent, relative or care giver than the average stranger on the street. Let that sink in: A child has much more to fear from a parent, relative, or care giver! 

The Bible tells us that in the last days people will be ‘without natural affection’ and that because wickedness, the love of many will grow cold. But the most disturbing thing is how the Bible ties this kind of behavior as a result of turning one’s back on God. There can be no doubt whatsoever. There is no other explanation. We are living in the last days. When one looks at the strange, unprecedented weather phenomena, Middle East events, and lawlessness, we are left with only one conclusion: the Bible is coming true just as it was written.

 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, – 2 Timothy 3:2-3 KJV

4 Children Murdered in One Weekend in Dominican Republic. Is the Same Thing Happening in the USA? (26 August 2025)

Four children were killed by their parents over the weekend, highlighting a disturbing rise in filicide* cases in the country. A 36-year-old poisoned her three children ages 7, 9, and 11 and then took her own life. A handwritten note was found but not disclosed. On the same day, a man was arrested for allegedly suffocating his 1-year-8-month-old son.

This is a very disturbing trend going on in the Dominican Republic. Earlier in August, a couple was arrested for the death of a 7-year-old girl showing signs of severe abuse. A man hanged his 2-year-old son before committing suicide in Nagua.

In the broader context, this has become a problem in the US as well. In the US, about 500 filicide arrests occur annually, making up roughly 2.5% of all homicide arrests. Filicide accounts for two-thirds of fatal child abuse cases. 

The Fear of ‘The Stranger’

Many parents fear the stranger; they teach their children not to talk to strangers, not to have anything to do with a stranger. Parents have fallen into the same mentality of being watchful of strangers. But the sobering truth is, a child has much more to fear from the parents, relative or care giver than the infamous stranger. In the U.S., in 2023:

• 189,635 children were abused by their mothers
• 125,493 were abused by their fathers
• Abuse by non-parental strangers accounted for a small fraction

Over 90% of child victims know their abuser—often a parent, relative, or caregiver. Stranger-perpetrated abuse (including abduction or assault) typically makes up only 5–10% of cases. Cultural focus on “stranger danger” has shaped parental vigilance—white vans, candy offers, and playground warnings. But the real danger often lives inside the home, hidden behind familiarity, trust, and denial. Media tends to spotlight rare, sensational stranger cases, while familial abuse is underreported and under covered.

There are many, many individual reasons why these things occur; and to try to lump everyone into the same category would not only be incorrect, but reckless. However, the Bible does make references on the last days, and the condition of society as a whole. The Bible does say that in the last days, ‘men’shearts will fail them for fear’ when they look at the things happening and things pending upon the earth. For some, not only do they fear for themselves, but fear for what will happen to their children who are left behind after a suicide.

Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. – Luke 21:26 KJV

1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. The Coma and The Cloak: What is 3I Atlas Hiding? (26 August 2025)

On August 21st, I wrote an article about the 3I Atlas. You can read it on this page by simply scrolling down. But 3I Atlas is still in the news with new discoveries causing more questions than answers.  

The Coma: A Shroud of Dust and Light 

In astronomical terms, a coma is the cloud of gas and dust that surrounds a comet’s nucleus when it gets close to the Sun. It’s what makes the comet glow—often brighter than the core itself. 

But in symbolic terms, the coma is: 

• 

A veil: It hides the true form. We see the glow, not the source. 

• 

A witness: The coma is made of what the object sheds. It’s the trail of transformation. 

• 

A paradox: It makes the object visible yet obscures its identity. 

For 3I/ATLAS, the coma is especially strange—it glows without a classic tail and may be emitting light rather than just reflecting it. That’s not just science—it’s metaphor.  

Now let’s just recap: in that original article, I made the comparison between 3I Atlas’ description, and Revelation 10:1. Now I am not saying for sure that 3I Atlas is the angel described in Revelation 10:1, I am just saying that the comparison is very interesting. In fact, if it were ever confirmed that 3I Atlas had visited Earth in the past, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to those paying attention.

1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, surrounded by a cloud, with a rainbow over his head. His face shone like the sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire. 2 And in his hand was a small scroll that had been opened. He stood with his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. 3 And he gave a great shout like the roar of a lion. And when he shouted, the seven thunders answered. – Revelation 10:1-3 NLT 

There has been a lot in the news about this cloud or coma that is surrounding this mysterious object. Speculation has been made about it perhaps emitting its own light. Many scientists have commented on the potential brightness of this object. But compare that to what Revelation says, “surrounded by a cloud, and His face shone like the sun.” Even to the point of comparing his “feet were like two pillars of fire”. Now, new information has suggested that the object is much larger than previously thought. This angel in the book of Revelation is absolutely huge. When he lands upon the earth, he can put one foot on the sea, and the other foot on the ground.  

And what about the rainbow over his head. While no one has reported seeing a rainbow as part of 3I Atlas, it’s worth noting that a rainbow is a token of a covenant. God put the sign of the rainbow in the clouds to remind man that never again will He destroy the earth with water. So why would this angel have a rainbow over his head? Perhaps this is a forgotten covenant between God and man. 

While 3I Atlas is not a reason to panic, at least not yet. But it is a message to us that it’s time to start taking things seriously. Matthew chapter 25 is one of the most curious parables in all the Bible. Keep in mind Jesus was speaking in chapter 24, and his teaching continues in chapter 25. Just because it’s a new chapter, doesn’t mean it’s a new subject. Jesus is still talking about the last days. 

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’  7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” – Matthew 25:1-13 NKJV

First, we must be willing to confront the uncomfortable; who are the virgins? It’s important to note that all 10 are virgins. There weren’t 5 virgins, and 5 girls who were pretending to be virgins. No, all ten were on the same footing. The difference? Five were wise and five were foolish. As a result of their foolishness, five virgins weren’t ready when the Groom came to retrieve his bride. Later when they got themselves ready, it was too late. 

3I Atlas at this point is simply a reminder. A Christian should know the end is near, a Christian should be preparing his/herself as the time draws near. Does this mean a person can lose their salvation? Absolutely not. But we’re not talking about salvation, we’re talking about escaping the coming wrath. 

This object, whatever it may be, is a call to Christians; we know that the time is at hand. We know that no person on earth can ignored the obvious signs that are all around us. Anyone who would simply open their mind could not dismiss the avalanche of evidence we see every single day.

Kentucky Flash Flooding Devastates Local County (25 August 2025)

At one time, Hazard County, Kentucky, was famous. “The Dukes of Hazzard” was a popular Tv series on CBS that began on January 26, 1979. Even though the mythical county of Hazzard was supposed to be in Georgia, many people thought the real area referred not to Georgia, but Kentucky. Since that time, Hazard County has seen better days. The coal mining that had once been the lifeblood of many eastern Kentucky area residents dried up to a trickle. Coal industry related jobs have dropped by 85% since 1990.

As jobs are dropping and residents are leaving, another statistic is on the rise: Disasters. Record-breaking flash flood that struck Hazard, Kentucky in February, cresting the North Fork Kentucky River at over 30 feet and devastating the downtown area. It’s the second major flood in just three years, following the catastrophic 2022 event that overwhelmed Troublesome Creek and tore homes apart.

Holly-Ann Eastmon, a local resident, survived both floods. In 2022, she was swept away and clung to a tree for nearly 12 hours before being rescued. Now, she evacuates anytime the forecast calls for more than 2 inches of rain—packing up her belongings and fleeing to a hotel. She’s applied for a home buyout and plans to leave Hazard, saying, “Everybody here was affected by it in one way or another.”

Experts link the surge in flash floods to human-caused climate change. A warmer atmosphere holds more moisture, leading to harder, faster rainfall. Kentucky has already issued over 200 flash flood warnings in 2025—compared to just 76 in all of 2024. The region’s mountainous terrain funnels rain into valleys, amplifying flood risk. Historic coal mining has disrupted waterways like Troublesome Creek, increasing the danger.

This is something that is not only affecting Kentucky but is becoming more and more familiar all over the United States. Experts may blame this on Global Warming, and I’m not going to disagree. In fact, I believe that climate change itself is predicted in the Bible. But the Bible does warn us of various natural disasters that will happen with increasing frequency as the time of the return of Jesus nears.

Underwater Volcano Records Over 2,000 Earthquakes (25 August 2025)

The Axial Seamount, a massive underwater volcano located about 300 miles off the Oregon coast, nearly a mile beneath the Pacific Ocean. Scientists have recorded over 2,000 earthquakes in the area, along with seafloor swelling, both strong indicators that magma is rising and an eruption could occur before the end of the year.

This volcano is far from new; geological evidence or eruptions date back over 10,000 years. But in recent months, it has sprung back to life along with other volcanoes centered around the Pacific Rim.

The Pacific Rim, better known as the “Ring of Fire” has been making headlines lately as many areas along this ring have become active in last few months.

This is part of a much larger picture, going to the book of Revelation chapter 6. Beginning in verse 12, John tells us of an earthquake that doesn’t just affect a certain area, but is felt worldwide; at one time this was mocked by skeptics, but recently due to the increased activity all along the Pacific Rim, it is now becoming conceivable that an earthquake could be part of a larger pattern of activity that would cause it to be felt in much of the world.

The Bible also predicts this kind of event and its repercussions on humanity. It says in the 21st chapter of Luke that people will be terrified at what is coming upon the earth, and that itself mirrors the same sentiment in Revelation chapter 6. There it tells us that people will actually cry out for the mountains to ‘fall on them’ in order to hide them from this event known as ‘The Wrath of The Lamb’.

12 I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood. 13 Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind. 14 The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places.

15 Then everyone—the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person—all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?” – Revelation 6:12-17 NLT

Parents Charged with Murder in the Death of Their 7-Month-Old Son (22 August 2025)

In what has sadly become an all too predictable pattern, a mother’s initial report of a missing child has turned out to be another horrific murder. Initial Report: On August 14, Emmanuel’s mother, Rebecca Haro, claimed her son was kidnapped while she was changing his diaper in a parking lot outside a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Yucaipa, California. She said someone greeted her with “Hola,” and then everything went blank. She later woke up on the ground with Emmanuel gone.

Investigators quickly noticed inconsistencies in Rebecca’s story. Both parents—Rebecca and Jake Haro—stopped cooperating with law enforcement. Rebecca refused to continue her interview after being confronted with contradictions. Jake had a prior conviction for child cruelty in 2018 and was on probation at the time of Emmanuel’s disappearance. He had previously served jail time but not a full prison sentence.

After analyzing electronic evidence and conducting multiple interviews, authorities concluded that no kidnapping occurred. Both parents were arrested on suspicion of murder. The search for Emmanuel’s remains is ongoing. Advocacy groups like the Uvalde Foundation for Kids initially offered a reward but later withdrew support, citing suspicions of foul play. The foundation and others are now calling for a full investigation, including scrutiny of Emmanuel’s grandmother.

This story is being repeated time and time again all over this country. It is nothing short of depraved, the lack of love and cruelty these parents are inflicting on their own children. One can’t help but wonder what has possessed the people who carry out these absolute atrocious murders. Some people say that cultural normalization of abortion has desensitized people to the sanctity of life—is one that many share, especially in faith-rooted circles. It’s a worldview that sees early moral formation as foundational, and when that foundation is cracked, the consequences ripple outward.

But the Bible sheds light on these things as a product of people who have turned their backs on God. The Bible tells us plainly that there is no excuse for not knowing God. He has given us proof after proof of his existence through creation. And when people make a choice to turn their backs on God, he turns them over to a reprobate mind:

18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So, they have no excuse for not knowing God.

21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. – Romans 1:18-25 NLT

28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.– Romans 1:28-32 NLT

With so much wickedness in the world today, even the people who profess to be atheists are asking ‘what is going on?’ This is absolutely the final countdown to the end: Jesus told us that the last days would be comparable to the days of Noah. Let’s take a look about the days of Noah:

5 The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. 6 So the LORD was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. – Genesis 6:5-6 NLT

11 Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. 12 God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt. 13 So God said to Noah, “I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!” – Genesis 6:11-13 NLT

37 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 38 In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. 39 People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes. – Matthew 24:37-39 NLT

California parents arrested, charged with murder of missing 7-month-old son after mother’s story falls apart

New Jersey State Police Sergent Suspected in Murder-Suicide (22 August 2025)

Sgt. 1st Class Ricardo Jorge Santos once served on Gov. Phil Murphy’s security detail. Now, he is the suspect in an apparent murder-suicide that claimed the lives of 2 other people besides himself. The victims are Lauren Semanchik, 33, who was a respected veterinarian and one-time girlfriend of Santos. Tyler Webb, 29, a volunteer firefighter, and new partner of Lauren.

Both were found dead in Semanchik’s home in Franklin Township from apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities believe the killings occurred Friday night, August 1st, though the bodies weren’t discovered until Sunday. Investigators believe Ricardo Santos followed Miss Semanchik home from work, entered her property through the nearby woods and fatally shot both her and Tyler Webb. Santos was found dead on Sunday as well. He died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in his SUV at Johnson Park.

These murder-suicides are truly tragic events where the mental state of one person brings harm not only to others, but the very people they often claim to love. The Bible talks about such occurrences as being part of the end-times. It says men’s hearts failing them for fear for looking at things coming upon the earth. Whether this was a case of sheer jealousy, or fear of being alone, or whatever other motive we might never know.

Yet Another Earthquake: 5.2 Magnitude Strikes Russia – Again (22 August 2025)

Russia’s seismic drumbeat hasn’t let up. A new 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck near Shikotan Island in the Sakhalin Oblast region. The earthquake occurred on Thursday at 8:24 a.m., local time. This recent string of earthquakes started with an 8.8 magnitude earthquake on July 30th. The July 30 quake didn’t just shake the ground—it stirred the sky. It triggered eruptions from seven volcanoes in Kamchatka, including Krasheninnikov, which hadn’t erupted in 600 years. Experts are calling it a “parade of volcanic eruptions,” and the peninsula itself has reportedly shifted southeastward by nearly 2 meters.

These earthquakes are part of a pattern the Bible tells us will happen with more frequency as the time for the return of Jesus gets closer and closer. ” 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.” – Matthew 24:7-8 NLT

The Perversion of Justice: Parallels That Show the Downfall of a Nation (21 August 2025)

Today has been an enlightening experience, to say the least. After finishing my Bible study, I opened Fox News to see the headlines of the day. I found myself reading the very same things I had just finished reading in the Bible.

Today in Cincinnati, Ohio, a glaring case of the perversion of justice has been ongoing now for almost a month. On July 26, an attack, not a fight, not a brawl, but an attack occurred on a 45-year-old white man who was severely beaten, robbed by a gang of young, black males and females. Cincinnati has absolutely refused to call this what is obvious to everyone: a case of racists blacks, who obviously believe that they are above the law, and it looks like they might be right.

The white man, allegedly beaten and robbed, suffering 28 head strikes has NOW BEEN ARRESTED and is now facing charges of disorderly conduct. If this were some sort of skit on Saturday Night Live, it would be hilarious. After all what is next? Do we charge this man with terrorism, because his blood got onto the streets and became a biohazard? 

Mayor Aftab Pureval praised the arrest as “another step toward accountability,” despite the man being considered a victim under Marsy’s Law.City Solicitor Emily Woerner and Pureval’s administration are accused by the police union of “blatant political meddling” and pressuring law enforcement to charge the victim for optics. FOP President Ken Kober called it “the most egregious” interference he’s seen in his career, saying it’s a disgraceful stain on the city.

1 Why, LORD, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? 2 In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises. 3 He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD. 4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. 5 His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by him; he sneers at all his enemies.

6 He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.” He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.” 7 His mouth is full of lies and threats; trouble and evil are under his tongue. 8 He lies in wait near the villages; from ambush he murders the innocent.  His eyes watch in secret for his victims; 9 like a lion in cover he lies in wait. 12 Arise, LORD! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless. 13 Why does the wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself, “He won’t call me to account”? 14 But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. 15 Break the arm of the wicked man; call the evildoer to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out. 16 The LORD is King for ever and ever; the nations will perish from his land. 17 You, LORD, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, 18 defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror. – Psalms Chapter 10 NIV

To those who have been waiting for this modern cesspool that is called society to come to an end, wait no longer. It seems the Lord God can tolerate many things, but injustice and oppression of the victims are something he doesn’t tolerate lightly. 

In 701 B.C., God had become full of the oppression and injustice that had consumed the nations of Judea and Israel. And he led King Nebuchadnezzar to the land in order to take it captive. For 490 years, neither Israel nor Judea had held the traditional Jubilee, so God had ordered the nations to be held captive for 70 years, in order to make restitution for their sin. Jubilee was a year that God had set aside to make everything right and renew the people and the land. Every 50 years, the nation of Israel was supposed to hold a Jubilee. Lands previously sold was to be given back to the original owners. All slaves were to be set free. It was a grand reset of the entire society, where old debts were settled once and for all.

The books of Ezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah, Lamentations and Nehemiah all came out of this 70-year captivity. And we see three glaring reasons why God was angry: Persistent Idolatry and Covenant Unfaithfulness, Social Injustice and Corruption, and Refusal to Heed Prophetic Warnings. (sound familiar?)

Jeremiah and Nehemiah highlight systemic oppression: exploitation of the poor, perversion of justice, and leaders enriching themselves while neglecting the vulnerable (Jer. 22:13–17; Neh. 5:1–13).

Ezekiel 22 lists bloodshed, extortion, and failure to defend the orphan and widow as reasons God’s judgment fell. The covenant law tied worship of God to ethical treatment of people — breaking one was breaking both.

Without getting too much further down into this rabbit hole, what brought on the Exile of Israel and Judea are the very same things that are plaguing the American people today. In short, our leaders have become corrupt, holding political ideology and party affiliation over the rule of law and the cause of justice. Political correctness and Woke mentality have accomplished its true goal of the destruction of freedom of speech. And chiefly, sin has become acceptable behavior, while godliness has become unacceptable.

The city of Cincinnati has become a spectacle: Their honor has been forgotten; their lawlessness has replaced their former glory. A city that was once an honor to their state has become its shame. The people of the city celebrate their slavery and chains to oppression, while the freedom of righteousness has been exiled. Is there any other passage in the Bible to describe Cincinnati better than Isaiah 5:20-23?

20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes

and clever in their own sight. 22 Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, 23 who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent. (NIV)

But do not forget, Cincinnati, the following verse as well!

24 Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay, and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel. – Isaiah 5:24 NIV

As Christians, it is not only our right, but our duty and responsibility to call out to the Lord for justice! Let’s not be silent; the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. We don’t need to enter Cincinnati with clubs and knives in order to make things right; we can attack the main cause of this by getting down on our knees and praying that this evil leadership that has taken over the city be removed once and for all, that their sins and corruption be publicly exposed, that their leadership be stripped from them and given into the hands of godly people who will rule the city with justice and righteousness.

The Light That Approaches: ATLAS and the Angel of Revelation (21 August 2025)

In August 2025, astronomers confirmed the approach of 3I/ATLAS, a mysterious interstellar object—only the third of its kind ever observed—moving toward the center of our solar system. Unlike typical comets, ATLAS appears to be emitting its own light, and surrounded with a cloud, with no visible tail and a brightness profile that defies easy explanation. Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb has proposed two possibilities: either ATLAS is a radioactive fragment from a supernova, or a nuclear-powered spacecraft, shedding dust as it travels.

Man Fatally Beats 2-Month-Old Daughter Over 40 Times (21 August 2025)

A 2-month-old Iowa baby has died of her injuries sustained around August 7th after being placed on life support. Now that the child has died, law enforcement is working with Polk County Attorney’s Office to consider upgraded charges.

James Dillon Brown was arrested on August 7th after EMS and police was dispatched to his home because of a 911 call reporting a child not breathing. According to court records obtained by Law & Crime, Brown allegedly struck the infant more than 40 times, “as hard as he could”. The baby was transported to the hospital, where she suffered a stroke and was place on life support.

The current level of violence in this country is at a fevered pace; news outlets are flooded with stories from all over the country of people killing one another, parents killing babies,children killing parents. The hatred is growing like some sort of supernatural epidemic; even the President of the United States is struggling to keep one city, Washington D.C., under control. 

With everything taking place in the world, it’s easy to imagine what the days of Noah must have looked like. Even in small, rural towns that were once well-known for their safe, neighborly streets are locking their doors and windows. And there are three things that every city in America have in common: Rebellion, drug abuse and the lack of lover for another. These three things are literally spreading all over this country and all three problems were slated as the absolute last end time signs to occur. 

“An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore, a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.” – Proverbs 17:11 KJV

5 The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. – Genesis 6:5-6 ESV

Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. – Revelation 9:21 KJV

This word sorceries in this verse is a very odd translation. In Greek, φαρμακεία is pharmakeia; the root of our word pharmacy. Even before the invention of recreational drugs, the Bible knew what we would be facing in the last days! This same sentiment is used in Galatians 5:20, when the Apostle Paul uses the same word, pharmakeia, when describing works of the flesh. The Bible has predicted the drug epidemic many countries around the world are struggling with. 

Today’s modern drug problem is more than an addiction; Many, many people disagree with the criminalization of drugs. In 2020, the state of Oregon voted to decriminalize most illegal drugs. Almost in every state, marijuana has been legalized in some form or another. This has been normalized, while the truth about the negative effects of drugs are being suppressed by legacy media.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. – Matthew 24:12 KJV

An earthquake occurred on Tuesday approximately 14 miles south-southwest of Mammoth, Wyoming. Mammoth is part of Yellowstone National Park. Residents in neighboring Idaho reported feeling the earthquake.

The Bible tells us of a time when earthquakes will be a marker of the end times. The Bible speaks about birth pangs. As a woman who is pregnant draws closer to her time of giving birth, her birth pangs become closer. This is the description the Bible gives us about end time events.

World Health Organization Warns of Dangerous Virus: “We Are Seeing History Repeat Itself” (19 August 2025)

The World Health Organization (WHO) is worried about an old enemy whose revival is reaching epidemic proportions. The virus, called the Chikungunya Virus was originally discovered in Tanzania in 1952. It is spread by mosquitoes, especially the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. Symptoms include, but are not limited to High fever, severe joint pain, fatigue and headache. 

The problem lies in the fact that now this virus is spreading beyond its traditional zones of Africa, Asia and The Indian Ocean, and into Europe and other continents. An estimated 5.6 billion people across 119 countries are now vulnerable due to expanding mosquito habitats.

It seems we only have ourselves to blame. Rising global temperatures are expanding mosquito-friendly environments – warm, wet climates are ideal breeding grounds. Increased human movement and dense living conditions help the virus spread more rapidly.

As with many viruses, there is currently no cure for chikungunya, and no medications to treat its effects. While two types of vaccines are available here in the U.S., they are not widely deployed yet.

Once again, we see a direct correlation to what is going on in the world today, and what is written in the Bible about the end times. These are not symbolically written poems, or vague symbolism that could be interpreted in 100 different ways. Once Again, Russia Suffers Another Earthquake (19 August 2025)

Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula has experienced several earthquakes in the last few days. But now, once again an earthquake rocked the area. This one was in triple succession: a magnitude 7.4, within 32 minutes a 6.7 magnitude and then a 5.0 magnitude. These earthquakes triggered tsunami warnings across the region. Authorities issued emergency alerts urging coastal evacuations, but thankfully, the tsunami threat was lifted after several tense hours. No casualties have been reported so far.

Kamchatka is no stranger to seismic activity—it’s part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, where tectonic plates grind with intensity. But this cluster of quakes in such rapid succession? That’s worth watching closely.

The book of Revelation predicts an event known as the ‘Wrath of the Lamb’, where a particularly large earthquake is felt world-wide. Up to a few years ago, skeptics used this to mock and jeer the prophecies of the Bible. But now, geologists are starting to notice that all along the Ring of Fire, these events are actually echoed across the entire ring. When an earthquake or volcanic eruption happens in one place, changes are being observed at other locations around the Ring.

Could this activity all along the Ring of Fire be leading up to a mega-event that would cause eruptions all along the Ring? That is something that is worth considering. You can read the post I made on this very subject: Revelation’s Sixth Seal

But even if this is not tied to Revelation chapter 6, Jesus himself remarked as one of his first warnings is the signs of the earthquakes:

10 Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.” – Luke 21:10-11 ESV

Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula has been hit again, this time by a magnitude 5.8 earthquake. What’s especially striking is that this comes just days after a massive 8.8 quake rocked the same region, triggering tsunami warnings across the Pacific. Scientists warn the seismic activity is ongoing, and the risk of more powerful quakes remains high. No tsunami warnings were issued for this latest quake, but the earlier 8.8 event did prompt alerts across the Pacific Rim.

As the world draws closer and closer to the return of Jesus, even the planet itself begins to show signs of his coming.  20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, 21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. 22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. – Romans 8:20-22 NLT

Paul was writing about how creation in its entirety became subject to God’s curse. As the earth was under man’s domain, when man sinned then the earth itself became subject through man. But now as we eagerly await the return of our Savior, we look forward to that day when neither we nor the earth are no longer subject to that curse.

Chicago Crime Spree Gets the Attention of President Trump (18 August 2025)

A woman has been shot to death in Chicago in an apparent robbery attempt. 31-year-old Gabriela Ochoa was taken to a local hospital where she died of a gunshot wound to the chest. This innocent victim was shot in the 800 block of West 27th Street, by an unidentified male. No arrests have been made in this case.

President Donald Trump has named Chicago as a city that could face federal intervention due to crime, similar to how he is using federal officers and the National Guard to get Washington, D.C. under control. 

With all due respect to our President, and while I personally see his actions as nothing short of heroic, this will not fix this problem. While liberal politicians do seem to take a softer stance on crime and punishment, until the Christians of this nation get a real burden to pray for this country and the crime that has it in its grip, nothing will gain control of this situation.

The problem is Satan has really been busy over the last few hundred years, while Christians have fallen in love with the world. It’s very easy to do that, with all the modern attractions the world has. The world can promise you almost unlimited knowledge, convenience that has never been seen before in the history of the world. Wonderful sights of amazing structures and architecture, glamourous men and women who, without a doubt, are some of the most beautiful creatures to ever walk this earth. 

But we have allowed ourselves to be overcome with the world. One of the most telling Scriptures in the Bible that should bring chills upon every Christian on earth is Luke 18:8 (NIV) “However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

For Jesus to ask this question should wake every single Christian on earth from their slumber. Jesus has the right to ask such things, however. When you see the evil that goes on everywhere in this nation, and to see seemingly how powerless Christianity has become.

It’s more sobering.

It started with a simple mistake. I have a VPN bundled with my Norton 360 subscription. I rarely use it—only for specific tasks like visiting a new site or placing an online order. But tonight, I forgot to turn it off. And something strange happened. My internet didn’t slow down—it accelerated. Pages loaded instantly. Apps sprang to life. It was as if my system had been released from a hidden weight.

Curious, I turned to my newest companion: AI. In less than thirty minutes, we uncovered a quiet parade of watchers—apps I thought were dormant, services I never knowingly installed, and background processes that had been peeking into my digital life. First off, DNS requests were flying out—not just the ones I triggered, but background queries from apps I hadn’t touched. Some were tied to services I didn’t even know were active. It was like my system was whispering secrets to my ISP without asking me first. Then came the multicast traffic. Service discovery packets, quietly announcing themselves across the local network. One app in particular—a photo studio I hadn’t opened in weeks—was broadcasting like it was looking for someone to talk to. I hadn’t given it permission. It didn’t ask. 

We also spotted a MAC address that didn’t belong to any of my known devices. It was receiving traffic, not sending much back, just watching. Could’ve been a gateway, a proxy, maybe even a monitoring node tucked inside the ISP’s infrastructure. Whatever it was, it didn’t show up when the VPN was on. And then there was hop 3. In my traceroute, it popped up like a ghost—an unexpected detour in the path my data was taking. When the VPN was active, it vanished. That told me everything I needed to know. Something was rerouting my traffic. Something I didn’t authorize.

Finally, we saw telemetry and background syncs—apps phoning home, services checking in, all without my input. It wasn’t malware. It was the system doing what it was designed to do: index, profile, and report. When the VPN was off, I was exposed. When it was on, the watchers went blind. This wasn’t just a technical discovery. It was a spiritual one. A reminder that silence can be protection. That encryption can be discernment. That sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is cloak yourself and walk unseen. I’m not saying everyone’s being spied on. But I am saying this: the infrastructure is built to watch. And unless we choose otherwise, it will.

I think it’s fair to say now—Big Brother is watching. And like Santa, he’s got a list. And yes, he’s checking it twice. But this isn’t about toys or cookies. It’s about control. I can’t help but be reminded of Revelation 13, where the end-time government doesn’t just govern—it subjects. Not citizens. Subjects.

He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark…” (Revelation 13:16–17)

That word—required—hits differently now. A few years ago, it seemed impossible to stop commerce.

How could you prevent two people from meeting, exchanging cash for goods or services? It was too human. Too fluid. Too free. But today? That question has been answered. And the answer is already being implemented. Stores now have the technology to scan microchips—just like the ones embedded in your debit or credit card. Only now, they’re being tested under the skin. Instead of reaching for your wallet, you scan the back of your hand. Convenient. Efficient. Controlled.

And it’s not just retail. Most employers now require direct deposit to get paid. Government programs? Same story. You either get a prepaid card, or you must have a bank account that accepts digital deposits.

Cash is fading. Autonomy is shrinking. And the infrastructure for total control is no longer theoretical—it’s operational.

This isn’t fearmongering. It’s pattern recognition. It’s prophetic discernment. We’re not just being watched. We’re being indexed, routed, and prepared. The mark may not be here yet. But the system that will enforce it? It’s already blinking, scanning, and logging. More to come. Because silence isn’t safety—and awareness is the first act of resistance.

We are being told a whole host of things that the government are doing in the name of keeping us safe. There is just one string attached; you have to give something up in order to get it. Digital currencies are safe, just give us a little control. Personal information is being picked up by scammers every day, but they offer protection; just give up a little control. When do we start questioning the gatekeeper?

Main St. Hate: Top Democrats Fail to Condemn Controversy Around ‘Global Intifada’ in Manhattan (16 August 2025)

A story on the Fox News website shows just how real Bible prophecy is becoming in these last days. The signs of Jesus’ return have now become obvious. Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in Midtown Manhattan on August 16, 2025, chanting slogans like “Free, free Palestine” and “Globalize the intifada.” The phrase has drawn intense scrutiny, as it is a call for violence against Jewish communities worldwide. 

The chant sparked bipartisan backlash. U.S. Representatives Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Rudy Yakym (R-IN) introduced legislation to formally classify “globalize the intifada” as hate speech inciting violence. Gottheimer, who is Jewish, emphasized that the term evokes past terror attacks and must be condemned.

NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic socialist, faced criticism for not denouncing the phrase. He responded by saying it’s not language he uses, but didn’t explicitly condemn it, prompting further calls for clarity from top Democrats and media outlets.

Since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, pro-Palestinian activism has intensified, the rhetoric against Israel as a nation and Jews as individuals. The phrase ‘globalize the intifada’ is an open call for violence:

Intifada (Arabic: انتفاضة) literally means “a shaking off” or “uprising.” It comes from the Arabic verb intafaḍa, which means to shake oneself, awaken, or rise up.

 In modern political contexts, especially in the West, intifada is most commonly associated with the Palestinian uprisings against Israeli occupation:

First Intifada (1987–1993): Characterized by civil disobedience, protests, and boycotts.

Second Intifada (2000–2005): Marked by more violent confrontations, including suicide bombings and military clashes.

It seems the world is refusing to acknowledge the reality of God, or His word. What the Bible tells is clear and doesn’t allow for any ‘alternate interpretation’ whether intentional or not. Once Israel is back in their own land, they will never be removed again. As long as earth lasts, the nation of Israel will last. Furthermore, the Bible tells us that Judea will be restored to Israel; this is an area currently known as the West Bank. Recently, the Knesset (the Israeli Parliament) voted to recognize the land of Judea as belonging to Israel.

This kind of hatred as we are seeing in Manhattan and around the U.S. comes from a larger hatred of God. People who deny Israel’s right to exist are denying the Scriptures and rejecting his chosen people. Even among many so-called Christians, there is a denial of the legacy of the Jewish people. 

But thankfully, God has promised to protect Israel, and modern history has proved it so time and time again. This kind of blatant hatred has been around for 2,000 years, yet these pro-Palestinian protestors are so blind they cannot see the history behind this enduring bigotry.

This passage paints a chilling portrait of a society unraveling—where love is replaced by self-interest and brutality. In fact, how can be clearer? Men who wear traditional garb of middle eastern Muslims and women who cover their heads, but instead of showing the love of the One True God, follow traditions of men. Believing that God is actually concerned with the outer appearance; they may look religious, but their hearts are full of Satan himself. How, God asks us, how can we hate our neighbor whom we have seen, but claim to love God who we haven’t seen?

“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”  – 1 John 4:20 KJV

No, my friends, there is no reason to get angry with these people, for they are nothing but a wind that blows hard in the spring, only to flee when the warmth and gentle breezes of summer appear. They have turned their back on the Holy Spirit, thereby cutting their connection to God. They are like the heathen spoken of in Psalm 2, who believe they can defy God Himself without punishment. They consider God nothing but an abstract idea, who resembles birds or trees or perhaps the earth itself. 

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath and vex them in his sore displeasure. – Psalm 2:1-5 KJV

The Bible predicted the holocaust, just as the Bible predicted the regathering of Israel in 1948. And God has predicted what is happening right now. 

The Holocaust: 24 And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty. 25 Your men shall fall by the sword, And your mighty in the war. – Isaiah 3:24-25 KNJV

The Regathering: 21 And give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: I will gather the people of Israel from among the nations. I will bring them home to their own land from the places where they have been scattered. 22 I will unify them into one nation on the mountains of Israel. One king will rule them all; no longer will they be divided into two nations or into two kingdoms. – Ezekiel 37:21-22 NLT

The Nations Gathering Against Israel: 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. – Zechariah 12:2-3 KJV

How any rational person can even be skeptical of these prophecies which have come true and have been written about in history books is beyond me. But they do; just as the Bible says, they profess themselves to be wise when in fact they are fools. The return of Jesus is upon us. Even he himself tells us this is the time: 

32 “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. 33 In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.”– Matthew 24:32-34 NLT

When Science Meets Scripture: The Mystery of 3I/ATLAS (16 August 2025)

NASA’s latest update on a strange interstellar object racing through our solar system is stirring excitement—not only among scientists, but also among Christians who recognize the prophetic significance of signs in the heavens. Known as 3I/ATLAS, this object defies conventional theories and echo ancient warnings foretold in Scripture.

Scientists believe the object known as 3I/ATLAS is an interstellar comet—a rare visitor from beyond our solar system. But it’s no ordinary comet, and that’s why it’s causing such a stir. NASA and most astronomers classify 3I/ATLAS as a comet made of ice, dust, and gas, originating from another star system. It’s the third confirmed interstellar object ever detected, following ‘Oumuamua (2017) and 2I/Borisov (2019). Hubble Space Telescope images show a teardrop-shaped dust cloud surrounding a small icy nucleus, confirming comet-like behavior.

Why It’s So Unusual

There are several things about this object that defies common theories and assumptions made by astronomers. 

• Extreme Speed: It’s traveling at 130,000 mph, faster than any known interstellar object.
• Unusual Glow: Instead of a tail trailing behind, it has a glow in front of its motion, which defies typical comet behavior.
• Precise Trajectory: Its path through the solar system is unusually aligned with planetary orbits—some scientists say the odds of this happening randomly are 1 in 20,000.
• Ancient Origins: Estimated to be 7–8 billion years old, making it older than our solar system.
• No Typical Gas Signatures: Spectral analysis shows a coma (dust cloud) without the usual gas emissions like CN or CO+, which is puzzling.

Harvard physicist Avi Loeb has suggested the possibility that 3I/ATLAS might be an alien probe or engineered object, citing its trajectory and glow pattern as “anomalous”. While most scientists reject this idea, Loeb argues that its behavior deserves open-minded investigation.

Whether or not we find even more fascinating information on this object remains to be seen. However, there are some things we definitely know. This is exactly the type of things the Bible reports as being signs of the last days. The Bible tells us of objects of curiosity that will be seen in the skies during the final seven years knows as Daniel’s 70th week, or more commonly known as the Tribulation period described in the book of Revelation.

Jesus himself predicted signs in the heavens that would occur that would fascinate and frighten many.

25 “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. 26 People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.” – Luke 21:25-26 NLT

1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, surrounded by a cloud, with a rainbow over his head. His face shone like the sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire. 2 And in his hand was a small scroll that had been opened. He stood with his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. 3 And he gave a great shout like the roar of a lion. And when he shouted, the seven thunders answered. – Revelation 10:1-3 NLT

Whether 3I/ATLAS is a comet, a probe, or something else entirely, its arrival reminds us that the heavens are not silent. They declare glory, they warn of judgment, and they invite us to discern the times. As Jesus said, “When these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near.” (Luke 21:28)

Bible Prophecy Ignored: Why No One is Reporting it – A Personal Report (16 August 2025)

Recently I have become more and more discouraged with this blog. Day after day goes by, and Google search keeps rejecting me for these various errors that I keep fixing, only to have new errors pop up. I go some days with zero viewers. Even my blog posts, which always drawn attention in the past (for better or worse) are now ignored. Sometimes, although I would never compare myself to such a godly man as Noah, I know exactly how he felt. 

In 2 Peter 2:5 (KJV) “…but saved Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.” I can imagine it now; people coming from miles around to watch the crazy old guy, Noah and his family, building this huge ship miles away from water. People would watch with amazement as huge logs were hewn down to square blocks and moved into place. Others would mock and jeer him, and Noah would come out to greet the crowd and preach the warning message, ‘Repent and come back to God in order to avoid the coming judgement’. How many ended up accompanied him onto the Ark? Zero.

It had to be frustrating for Noah, each day, seeing men, women and even children gather together only to see them walk away, having heard, but never listening to his message. They had absolutely no idea; they thought Noah’s message was the rantings of an old, deluded man until the day came. Suddenly, for the first time in history, drops of water fell from the sky and began hitting them on the head. 

Today I asked AI for a way to see what the most trending searches are out there, and how many people were looking up Bible prophecy. The Results were nothing short of astonishing. Today is Saturday, August 16th. According to Google Trends, here are the things being searched for the most on Google Search:

• Tristan Rogers – Apparently a well-known actor who starred on a Soap Opera called General Hospital. Rogers passed away August 15, 2025.
• R.C.D Mallorca and FC Barcelona – Two soccer teams that are playing now as I write this. 
• Wolves vs Man City – I thought this was some new X-Men movie, but I was wrong.  Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., is another soccer team who is currently playing Manchester City.
• Latoya Cantrell – The mayor of New Orleans, who was recently indicted by a federal grand jury over some finance charges.

There are a few more results from some other sports teams playing, but the stunning part is this:

• Bible Prophecy – In the past day, only 172 people have searched this phrase.
• Signs of the end times – 100 people have searched this term in the past 24 hours.
• Days of Noah – There have been 0 searches in the last 24 hours, less than 400 in the last 7 days.

Just as the Bible spells out, Jesus told us. 37 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 38 In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. 39 People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.” – Matthew 24:37-39 NLT

The fact that no one is paying attention is itself Bible prophecy coming to pass. It’s not that all people are bad, it’s just that people are so consumed with their own lives. And social media is a powerful distraction for millions of people. And the truth is, at least for Americans, we don’t really involve ourselves in anything that doesn’t affect us personally. It’s a sad testimony, but we tend to act just as Jesus predicted we would.

The Days of Noah Revisited: Lawlessness, Violence, and the Prophetic Pulse of Our Republic (14 August 2025)

In the latest hilarious twist on liberal logic, many people are calling for a ‘ban’ on MAGA Republicans from Mexican restaurants across America. Of course, this ban is enforced only by the owners and managers of these restaurants, as no legislation could be passed without stiff Constitutional challenges. The mentality behind this are calls for solidarity for illegal immigrants who are facing mass deportation from Trump’s promise to not only stop the open border policies from the Biden administration, but to remove those illegal immigrants who have come to American during the previous administration. 

The recent viral rant by Bravo star Jennifer Welch, calling for Trump voters to be banned from Mexican, Chinese, and Indian restaurants, certainly stirred the pot, but the bigger picture is alarming. Whether Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal, the one thing that stabilizes our country is the rule of law. Whether or not a person agrees with the law is irrelevant. There is a tried and true system in place for redress of grievance; our Republic form of government allows for citizens to not only voice their opinion, but call for change against laws they don’t agree with.

But this alarming turn of events, where citizens, mayors, town and city councils, and legislators calling for disregard for the law. They call for blocking of ICE officials, a Federal Law Enforcement agency. Protestors are resorting to violence in order to stop ICE officials from carrying out their duties. Sheriffs, Police Chiefs, and even judges are neglecting their duties to hold illegal immigrants for a mandator 48 hours in order to give ICE an opportunity to begin deportation of illegals. The refusal to uphold the rule of law, the glorification of selective justice, and the violent resistance to federal enforcement mirror the lawlessness Jesus warned about in Matthew 24:12:

“Because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”

This is exactly the type of lawlessness that the Bible predicts in the last days. In fact, this is one of the most chilling and serious prophecies of the end times that Jesus spoke about. Jesus tells us that in the last days, the world will be like the days of Noah. In Noah’s time the world was full of corruption; the people were corrupt and full of lawlessness. The Bible tells us in no uncertain terms that during that time the earth will be filled with violence. This exactly mirrors what the Bible predicts.

5 The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. 6 So the LORD was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. – Genesis 6:5-6 NLT

Exactly as Predicted, the World Turns Against Israel (11 August 2025)

“Those who dismiss the truth of the Bible aren’t unaware—they’re willfully blind. The Scriptures are unfolding before our eyes in chilling, word-for-word detail. World events echo it. History confirms it. And we—we are living witnesses.”

 Absolutely chilling world events are confirming the reality of the Bible. During a statement in a joint press conference, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stood alongside Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and said, “Muslim nations must work in total unison and mobilize the international community against Israel’s plan to take control of Gaza City.”

In Ezekiel Chapter 38, God makes a list of those nations who are going to line up against Israel in the last days. Warning: The next section is not for the faint of heart:

2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. – Ezekiel 38:2-6 KJV

• Gog – A person, a leader. The ruler of Magog, Meshech and Tubal.
• Magog – Associated with lands belonging to the Scythians. Modern Russia and Georgia
• Meshech & Tubal – Eastern Turkey & The Caucasus region
• Persia – Modern Iran
• Cush – Modern Sudan, some parts of Ethiopia
• Put – Libya, and in some parts of scripture, Egypt.
• Gomer and all his hordes – the Cimmerians, an ancient people who lived in the region of modern-day Turkey, Ukraine, and southern Russia.
• Beth Togarmah – ‘Beth’ meaning house in Hebrew, and Togarmah is typically associated with Armenia

Without fail, every single nation on this list is taking a stance against Israel, just as predicted. Turkey, a one-time ally of Israel has now gone back to its Muslim roots and recently has become much more vocal about their criticisms of Israel. 

Psalm 83 offers an amazing look into our present day times. Keep in mind, this was written sometime around 1,000 B.C.“2 Don’t you hear the uproar of your enemies? Don’t you see that your arrogant enemies are rising up? 3 They devise crafty schemes against your people; they conspire against your precious ones. 4 “Come,” they say, “let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence.” – Psalm 83 2-4 New Living Translation

This reads like a sign at a pro-Palestinian rally. Our college students, so blinded by the lies coming from Hamas, Islamic nations, and the liberal left openly call for the destruction of Israel. “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”. Palestine is already free! It’s called Israel; and there people have the right to vote, to express their opinion, to get a job in whatever profession they choose, to go to college and get a degree. Women have equal rights, in fact Israel was one of the first nations on earth to have a female Prime Minister.

Golda Meir became Prime Minister of Israel on March 17, 1969, following the death of Levi Eshkol. She was 70 years old at the time and remains the only woman to have held that office in Israel’s history. Her tenure lasted until June 3, 1974, and it spanned some of Israel’s most intense moments—including the Yom Kippur War in 1973, which deeply tested her leadership and reshaped public perception.

Even more chilling, Germany has now refused to provide Israel with more arms in order to protect themselves from terrorism. How incredible is it that this fabrication of genocide against Palestinians is being received as fact, even though the truth is blatantly obvious to see. The only genocide in Israel is the continuous attacks Israel has had to endure at the hands of Palestinian terrorists for decades. 

The obvious bias against Israel has existed since Israel became a nation in 1948. Yasser Arafat was a criminal and a terrorist. If there would have been any justice in this world, he would have immediately been taken into custody the moment he stepped foot in the United States. This was a sorry excuse of a human being. Arafat ordered suicide bombers to attack Israeli school buses. He was involved in the 1974 Summer Olympics Massacre.

Yet President Bill Clinton welcomed Arafat into the White House literally with open arms, hugging him in the traditional Arab greeting more than once. Arafat spent more time in the White House than any other foreign dignitary. Bill Clinton reflected on his meetings with Arafat years later, and his words capture the truth of the entire matter between Israel and Palestine, despite his democratic affiliation. Sometimes the truth comes out in spite of yourself.

Former Democratic President Bill Clinton recently remarked that when speaking to Pro-Palestinian youth, “…I tell them everything Arafat walked away from. And they’re like, can’t believe it, I said ‘oh yeah’ he walked away from a Palestinian State with a capital in East Jerusalem, 96% of the West Bank, 4% of Israel, to make up for the 4% that the settlers occupy that were beyond the borders of the ’67 war. And I go through all the stuff that was in the deal. And it’s like they’re – it’s not on their radar screen. They can’t even imagine that happened. And I tell them, you know – the first and most famous victim of an attempt to give ’em a Palestinian State was Prime Minister Rabin.”

Most everything in legacy media about Palestine is a lie. They were offered a Palestinian state and turned it down. In 1867, Mark Twain visited the Holy Land and claimed he travel for a whole day and never seen as much as a plant or animal, much less a human being.

Where were the Palestinians? They claimed to have inhabited the country for 2,000 years, since the exile of the Jews in 70 A.D. Where were they in 1867? Did the entire country decide to go on vacation that particular week? No, because in the history of the world there has never been a nation called Palestine. There were no Palestinians, because in 1867 their ancestors still lived in their homelands of Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. The word Palestine is the Latin form of the word “Philistine“, the ancient enemy of the Israelis. In the story of David and Goliath, Goliath was a Philistine. Palestine was given to the land of Israel as a final insult to the fleeing Jews.

However, this issue is being groomed by Muslim nations, and propagated throughout the world as an excuse to demonize and then destroy the nation of Israel.

Father Kills Newborn Daughter for “Crying Too Much” (11 August 2025)

Last month, an Arizona man was charged with 1st degree murder and child abuse after beating his newborn daughter to death. 22-year-old Jonathan Enriquez first tried to blame his daughter’s death on choking while drinking from her bottle but later admitted to striking her in the head because she was ‘crying too much’. 

This baby girl, whose name has yet to be released was only 4 weeks old when this attack occurred. First responders found her unresponsive at Enriquez’s apartment just before 9 a.m. on July 11. She was declared dead at the hospital on July 26. Investigators were told of several injuries that were in various stages of healing, indicating a pattern of abuse in the short life of this child. This included a fractured skull, bleeding in the brain, a broken leg and fractured ribs. 

The cause of death was equally gruesome; an autopsy revealed ‘catastrophic’ injuries consistent with ‘slamming, crushing or stomping’. When questioned about these various injuries, both parents gave inconsistent statements about these injuries, such as claims the baby had fallen off the bed, fallen out of the car seat, and accidentally struck by a seat belt buckle. It’s unclear if the baby’s mother is also facing charges.

As parents, we cannot even fathom striking a newborn baby in anger. Sometimes frustrations do mount, especially when a person is tired. And we have all had that moment when we just walked away, took a few deep breaths, and gave ourselves a moment to gather ourselves. But the Bible predicts this new type of callousness we are seeing in these end times. A time when a person’s thoughts are centered around themselves, where the overriding concern is personal comfort and pleasure.

This isn’t about poor parenting, this is about selfishness. About people who are for a lack of a better word, spoiled. They are overwhelmed at the slightest hint of responsibility and having someone depend on them is as foreign as their ability to love. And the Bible speaks out on this in several places.

1 A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a mocker does not respond to rebukes. 2 From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things, but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence. 3 Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. 4 A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied. 5 The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves.– Proverb 13:1-5 NIV

“Hated of All Nations”: Attacks on Christianity Is the New Normal. (10 August 2025)

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.” – Matthew 24:9 NIV

In an age where mockery masquerades as art, Christianity stands alone as the acceptable target. From Olympic ceremonies to Broadway revivals, the name of Jesus is not revered—it’s repurposed. An old musical is making a return, Jesus Christ Superstar. In 1973, a film was released under the same name, directed by Norman Jewison, based on the 1970 rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. This film tells the story of the last week of Christ, in music and through the eyes of Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus. It showed Christ as vulnerable and conflicted. While many considered this blasphemous, other claimed it aimed to explore the psychological and relational tensions of the Passion week.

The resurrection of this musical now stars Cynthia Erivo, a black, bisexual woman cast as Jesus. While the definition of art is whatever the viewer thinks it is, it seems Christianity in particular manages to be the favorite target of the so-called artists. But this isn’t just a casting choice—it’s a cultural signal. When a black, bisexual woman is cast as Jesus, it’s not diversity—it’s deliberate disruption. The sole purpose of casting Cynthis Erivo was to show irreverence and mock the Creator of the Universe.

It is interesting to note that it’s most always the Christian scenes of the Bible are mocked; the 2024 Summer Olympics, and now this restored version of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’. I would ask, why not Islam, why not Judaism? The answer is simple: Satan has nothing to fear from Islam. Jesus told us specifically that in the last days, we would be hated.

As humans, we are often subject to our earthly nature. When we feel like we have been wronged we want to speak out; we want to let someone know how we are being treated, and we want it to stop. But the Bible tells us a different path.

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. – Matthew 5:10-12 NIV

Recently, Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke on Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), the largest Catholic media network in the world. On it he slammed the reproduction of Jesus Christ Superstar, and even went on to comment, “It’s been true from the beginning in Christianity, it’s been – Christianity has been mocked, Christianity has been attacked from its very inception,” Rubio said. “In fact, the Church has traditionally been at its strongest when it’s the persecuted church, it’s been at its weakest when it sort of gets consumed by the culture.”

In fact, Christians should not be surprised at all when they face attack. I have a saying that has proved true time and time again: 

The best way to determine a person’s character is by who their enemies are. 

And this is never more true than when the world mocks, slanders and persecutes Christians. The Bible shines light into the darkest of places, and like roaches that scatter when a light is turned in their direction, evil deeds have no place to hide in the light of Scripture.

18 “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. 19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.” – John 15:18-19 NLT

 There is one truth in this world that exposes the lies, hypocrisy, and evil: The Bible. Muslims like to call us “People of the Book”. Yes! That is right! We are people of the Bible, and the truth of the Bible calls out the wickedness in the world. No wonder they hate us! Instead of grumbling and complaining when someone slanders you, slanders your Savior, wear it like a badge of honor! If the world hates you, then you must be doing something right.

When people slander your name, make fun of you and mock Christianity, don’t get angry. Instead, be glad that you are counted worthy to suffer as Jesus did. Count it joy; when you hear of something like this mockery that happened last summer by the Olympic Opening Ceremony Committee, count it joy that Satan is doing exactly what the Bible predicted he would do. And be glad that its finally time, just as the Bible tells us to: “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” – Luke 21:28 NIV

Senseless Violence: Man in Hawaii has Acid Thrown in His Face by a Complete Stranger (9 August 2025) 

On Friday, August 8th a 30-year-old man was crossing the street when a suspect threw sulfuric acid into his face. The victim suffered severe burns and remains in critical condition. The man’s condition was so bad Emergency Responders couldn’t interview him due to the extent of his injuries. 

The suspect was described as a 6-foot male, wearing a blue fitted shirt, a do-rag with a camera around his neck, and carrying a red bottle. There was no mention of the race of the suspect, however, Hawaii has a policy not to mention the race of a suspect. Police say there’s no known connection between the suspect and his victim. 

Police have no leads and are canvassing the area for surveillance footage and witnesses. No motive has been determined and it’s unclear whether or not this is a hate crime.

This isn’t an isolated case. Honolulu has seen multiple corrosive liquid attacks in recent years, including incidents in Maililani in 2023, and Ala Moana (2024). 

While police may not have a motive, the reason behind these attacks are clear. Because these are demonic entities and they are influencing people at a phenomenal rate. The Bible says that in the end times, violence will be commonplace. Jesus himself compared the end times to the days of Noah, and those attacks are becoming more and more common. I urge you, read the Scriptures carefully and see for yourself how they mirror current events.

5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. – Genesis 6:5-6 NKJV

Utter Wickedness: 8-Year-Old Girl Found Beaten and Tortured to Death (8 August 2025)

In California, 2 people have been arrested in connection with the beating, torture and killing of an 8-year-old girl, after her body was found in a hotel bathtub on Saturday, August 2nd. Young Genesis Ariah Mata‘s body was found at the La Quinta Inn in Bakersfield, California. 

There were multiple injuries suffered by the victim including scalding burns, crushed hands and removed fingernails. An officer at the scene noted massive blisters and burns, splitting of the skin, some of which had reached her face, and it looked as if she had been whipped many times.

Arrested were the child’s father, 31-year-old Ray Mata. Jr., and 27-year-old Graciela Bustamonte. Both were charged with 1st degree murder, willful cruelty to a child, and torture. 

Bustamonte allegedly admitted to police that the child died on Friday evening, August 1st. The couple didn’t call 911 until the next day. Later during her discussion with police, she admitted to taking part in the beatings. 

As difficult as it is to read these things and try to comprehend the mentality of those who could allegedly commit such horrible deeds, this is exactly word-for-word fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The Bible tells us that in the last days people will be without natural affection. What could be more natural than a parent’s love and desire to protect their own children?  

Yet we are facing a time on earth when parents kill their children with astonishing regularity. This demonstrates the progression of evil and wickedness that the Bible predicts in the last days.  

1 BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. 3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.

Trump, GOP, and FBI Doubles Down on Antisemitism (7 August 2025)

‘No American should live in fear because of their political or religious beliefs,’ Rep. August Pfluger told Fox News Digital 

The FBI has launched an investigation into a suspected antisemitic hate crime targeting a former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier in Clayton, Missouri. Authorities are treating the attack as a hate crime, with the FBI working alongside local law enforcement.

Rep. August Pfluger condemned the attack, warning of a surge in antisemitic violence across the U.S. He linked the incident to broader extremist efforts to intimidate Jewish Americans and supporters of Israel. The Justice Department’s Task Force to Combat Antisemitism is actively involved. 

The statistics concerning antisemitism is staggering. The Anti-Defamation League reported a record 9,354 antisemitic incidents in 2024—a 344% increase over five years. Other recent attacks include violence in Boulder, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., including a shooting at the Israeli Embassy. 

A Tale of Two Presidents 

The Trump administration has taken aggressive steps to combat antisemitism, including forming a task force to prosecute Hamas operatives. AG Pam Bondi talked about the task force saying the group, known as the Joint Task Force October 7, would focus on identifying, charging and prosecuting those who conducted the 2023 attacks, which took the lives of roughly 1,200 people — including 47 U.S. citizens. Hamas also took more than 250 people hostages that day, including eight U.S. citizens. 

In contrast, the Biden administration faces criticism for allegedly funding groups involved in anti-Netanyahu protests in Israel. 

Jews have constantly been the target of racism for over 2 millennia. And the truth is plain to see. There is nothing else on earth that speaks to the reality of God than the Jewish people. Prophecies concerning God’s chosen people continue to come true to this very day. When one looks at the history of the Jewish people, it holds a mirror up to the Bible and the reflection is the nation of Israel as it exists today. Exactly like multiple Scriptures written by multiple authors over 2,500 years ago, skeptics struggle to excuse away the word-for-word prophecies considering modern Israel: 

Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? – Isaiah 66:8 NLT  

The UN General Assembly passed Resolution 181 on November 29, 1947, recommending the partition of British-controlled Palestine into Jewish and Arab states, with Jerusalem under international administration. On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion, head of the Jewish Agency, read the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel at the Tel Aviv Museum. The new state was immediately recognized by the United States and 3 days later by the Soviet Union. 

11 Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones represent the people of Israel. They are saying, ‘We have become old, dry bones—all hope is gone. Our nation is finished.’ 12 Therefore, prophesy to them and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Following World War II, it was generally thought that the Jewish people had been finished. Even before the war, many were skeptical that the prophecies foretold in the Bible would ever literally come to pass. But after the war, Jews began the ‘Never Again’ movement: The demand for a land of their own so they would never be subject to a foreign government’s whim and wishes. People from all over the world streamed to Israel, just as the Bible predicted.

After touring a San Francisco VA Medical Center,Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke with reporters. When asked about pauses in ‘gender affirming care’, Pelosi’s answer was straight-forward. “That is something I’m working for at the national level, and we are hoping we can have gender-affirming care for our trans kids.” 

Pelosi acknowledged that many Republicans on Capitol Hill oppose medical transition for transgender kids. 

The Bible predicts such a time as this. People who will profess themselves to be wise when in fact they are fools. Even the President himself proclaimed a ‘return to common sense’ in government. For grown people to believe that anyone as young as the age of 10 or 12 years old has the maturity of mind to make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives is nothing short of wickedness.  

But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness…   As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools…  So, God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. ISIS Boasts of Killing Christians, Burning Churches and Homes in What is Being Called “Silent Genocide” (7 August 2025) 

Islamic State-affiliated groups are carrying out brutal attacks on Christian communities in Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo, marked by beheadings, church burnings, and mass displacement. ISIS boasted of this depraved activity as they released photos showing raids on Christian villages, burning churches and homes. 

Mozambique: Actual beheadings of Christian civilians and militia members were documented. Over 46,000 people have been displaced in just eight days, with nearly 60% being children. At least nine Christians killed in separate attacks between July 20-28. Six Christians reportedly beheaded in Natocua village on July 22. 

Democratic Republic of Congo: On July 27th, there was an attack on Komanda village, 45 Christians were killed, homes and a Catholic church were destroyed. Allied Democratic Force (ADF) backed by ISIS claimed responsibility. 

Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) calls this the “Silent Genocide”, because it has been largely ignored by the international community. Jihadist groups aim to eliminate Christian communities and expand control over weak territories. 

While media headlines focus on alleged genocide on Gaza, the real genocide is the elimination of Christians in Africa and Asia. Pay close attention to this, this is one of the things that Jesus highlights as one of the final signs to take place before his return.

The culprit is Vibrio vulnificus, a deadly bacterium found in warm, brackish coastal waters. And it’s wreaking havoc across the gulf states. Louisiana has reported 17 cases this year, with 4 deaths—most linked to wound infections from seawater. Florida has confirmed 13 cases and 4 deaths, while Mississippi and Alabama each reported single cases, neither fatal. 

The CDC warns that 1 in 5 infected people die, sometimes within 48 hours of symptoms appearing. Victims can become easily infected by the following: Through open wounds exposed to seawater, especially if you’ve had recent tattoos or piercings. By eating raw or undercooked shellfish, particularly oysters.  

Symptoms can include, but are not limited to, Wound infections: swelling, discharge, fever. Ingestion: diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting. Severe cases: blood poisoning, blistering skin lesions, and possible limb amputation. 

The CDC recommends avoiding sea water if you have any type of open wounds, recent tattoos or piercings. Cook shellfish thoroughly and seek medical attention immediately if symptoms appear after any exposure.

Boca de Yuma is a small fishing town in La Altagracia province, eastern Dominican Republic, and today it became the center of a 5.7 magnitude earthquake. According to United States Geologic Survey (USGS), the earthquake was centered 24 miles south of Boca de Yuma at a depth of 108 miles.

Cancer as a Full-Blown Epidemic? The Statistics May Shock You (5 August 2025)

While a cancer diagnosis can be devastating news for anyone, Obesity-Related cancer deaths have tripled in the United States over the past 20 years. Between 1999 to 2005, there were 3.73 million deaths due to obesity-related cancer. 

However, by 2020 that number had tripled to 13.52 million. That is an absolutely staggering statistic that challenges the optimism sparked by new cancer therapies. While scientists still search for cures, we are realizing that cancer is a preventable disease.

According to the CDC, they say that obesity plays a role in up to 40% of annual cancer diagnoses. Obesity is now tied to 13 cancer types, including: Colorectal, pancreatic, liver, thyroid, and postmenopausal breast cancer, endometrial, kidney, upper stomach, and meningioma (brain cancer). These are the cancers that account for 40% of all U.S. cancer diagnoses.

Most affected are older adults, women and racial minorities. Regionally, the Midwest had the highest death rates, while the Northeast had the fewest. 

Medical professionals describe obesity as a public health emergency. But what are the implications of obesity, and why does it relate to politics and more importantly, Bible prophecy? 

Perhaps the most disturbing is the rebellion in some communities that actually promote these facts as nothing more than ‘fatphobia’. Some people advocate refusing to get on a scale, even at the doctor’s office, radical self-acceptance that promotes ‘Health at Every Size’. It seems particularly among the younger generations, they have become their own worst enemies. They have invented these key-phrases such as “internalized oppression” and “self-hatred” in order to criticize those who are unhappy with their body size. 

The Bible says simply in the last days people will be afraid of the things coming on the earth. This includes deadly diseases. It also talks about end-time deception, not only when it comes to religion, but these modern-day ideas being put forth by those who are rebelling against any type of conventional wisdom and common sense.

The Days of Noah are Here: 11 Mass Shootings in the Last 10 Days (5 August 2025) 

It’s hard to look back into the Old Testament and try to imagine a time as is described in Genesis chapter 6. Unfortunately, we no longer have to imagine it. It is getting to the point now where I literally cannot keep up with all the violent attacks and mass killings going on. This is ringing all the bells of Bible prophecy. There is no excuse for people to be caught unaware. 

In my attempt to try to keep all these news stories straight, I asked AI to give me a rundown on every mass killing, or attempted mass killing in the last 10 days. Even AI had trouble, because its first answer was 6. But when I reminded it about a shooting in Los Angeles, it revived its tally to 11: 

Traverse City, MI (July 26): A man wielding a knife stabbed eleven shoppers at a Walmart; one victim was in critical condition. Bystanders subdued the attacker, who is now in custody. Officials characterize it as a mass attempted killing with no known terror or hate‐crime links. 

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos (July 27): In the islands’ first‐of‐its‐kind mass shooting, gunmen opened fire at a bar and restaurant, killing three people and injuring ten. Authorities have made no arrests and say this marks a troubling escalation in local violence. 

Atlanta, GA (July 28): A gunman opened fire in a busy nightlife district, killing one person and wounding ten innocent bystanders in the early morning hours. Police are searching for multiple suspects who fled the scene after the attack. 

Detroit, MI (July 28): At a gas station just before dawn, two people were killed and two others injured when shots rang out. Authorities have not yet identified a suspect or motive in what officials describe as an unprovoked attack on customers and passersby. 

Reno, NV (July 28): Outside the Grand Sierra Resort, a shooter exchanged fire with responding officers after killing three people and wounding three more. Two victims and the shooter remained in critical condition as of the latest updates, and no motive has been released. 

Manhattan, NY (July 28): During rush hour, an assailant armed with an assault rifle entered a Park Avenue skyscraper, fatally shooting four individuals—including an NYPD officer—before fatally turning the weapon on himself. The attack remains under investigation for motive and possible security lapses. 

Tennessee – Lake County (July 29, 2025) Austin Robert Drummond, 29, allegedly murdered four family members: his girlfriend’s mother (Cortney Rose), her siblings (Adrianna and Braydon Williams), and Adrianna’s boyfriend (James Wilson). He then abandoned their baby in a stranger’s yard. A manhunt is still underway, and two associates have been arrested for helping him flee  

Muncie, IN (Aug 3): Gunfire erupted at a large block party, leaving 1 dead and 19 injured, including two juveniles. Police believe it wasn’t a targeted attack, and multiple shooters may have been involved.

Chicago, IL (Aug 3): During a birthday party in the North Lawndale neighborhood, a woman was killed and eight others wounded when gunmen exited a black Jeep and opened fire. 

Lansing, MI (Aug 3): Outside Logan Square Shopping Center, five people were shot, two critically. Police recovered multiple firearms and detained several individuals for questioning. 

Los Angeles, CA (Aug 4): The illegal warehouse party —2 killed, 6 wounded. LAPD had shut it down earlier that night, but the crowd regrouped before shots were fired. 

Let’s take a look at exactly what the Days of Noah looked like: 5 The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. 6 So the LORD was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. 7 And the LORD said, “I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth. Yes, and I will destroy every living thing—all the people, the large animals, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and even the birds of the sky. I am sorry I ever made them.” – Genesis 6:5-7 NLT 

11 Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. 12 God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt. 13 So God said to Noah, “I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!” – Genesis 6:11-13 NLT 

Now, if you’re unfamiliar with Bible prophecy, you might be asking yourself why a connection is there between what we are seeing today and Noah’s time. Because Jesus compared the last days to the Days of Noah: 37 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 38 In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. 39 People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.” – Matthew 24:37-39 NIV 

The days in which we live are an exact, mirror image of Noah’s time. In his time, people probably came from far and wide to witness the spectacle of this old man and his family building a huge boat miles away from the sea. The Bible calls Noah a ‘preacher of righteousness’. So, he warned them! He urged them to turn from their wicked, violent ways and repent. But they went right on with their lives, not paying any heed to his warnings. 

These were mass shootings, many with no known motive. Random people shooting others for no known reason. This is senseless violence at its worst. Right now, you are reading this blog; I am warning you of the coming tribulation that is about to come on this whole world. Are you going to go right on with your life, not paying any heed to the signs all around you? Jesus said, ‘people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up until the day Noah entered his boat.’

Another Old Disease is Making a New Comeback (4 August 2025)

Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) is a disease is resurfacing in ways that feel oddly out of place, especially for those who remember it mostly as a childhood farm-country concern. Yet here we are in 2025, and outbreaks are rising in parts of the U.S., including Virginia and even the U.S. Virgin Islands, where a toddler’s case may have turned fatal. 

HFMD is caused mainly by Coxsackie and Enteroviruses and tends to peak during warm months. It’s highly contagious and spreads fast—coughing, sneezing, blister fluid, or even surfaces touched by infected hands. Daycares and schools become prime transmission hubs, which is likely fueling today’s uptick. 

In Virginia, the Fairfax County Health Department has published an alert of six outbreaks earlier this year, mainly affecting children under 4 years of age. The US Virgin Islands Department of Health has confirmed 189 cases of the disease, including a possible fatal case involving a toddler. 

In March of this year, the Pan American Health Organization issued an alert saying, “strengthen the prevention and control of hand, foot and mouth disease, especially in children, due to their high vulnerability and the risk of serious complications in the central nervous system.” 

In the 1970’s man believed that it was only a matter of time before diseases would be eradicated; but the Bible had something different to say. Now we see old diseases such as HFMD and Measles making a strong comeback. The one thing that makes HFMD so contagious is the fact that there is no vaccine. But with the attitudes of modern minds who seem to think vaccines are a bad thing, maybe a vaccine wouldn’t have made that much difference.  

There will be mighty and violent earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences (plagues: malignant and contagious or infectious epidemic diseases which are deadly and devastating); and there will be sights of terror and great signs from heaven. – Luke 21:11 Amplified Bible

From Dormancy to Detonation: Russia’s Awakening Earth and What It Means (3 August 2025)

Three days after an unprecedented 8.8-magnitude earthquake rattled the Kamchatka Peninsula—triggering tsunami warnings across the Pacific—a seemingly forgotten titan stirred. On Sunday, August 3rd, the Krasheninnikov volcano, long considered dormant and possibly extinct, erupted for the first time in recorded history, spewing hot ash nearly four miles into the sky. 

Volcanoes do not do this. 

They simmer, they signal, they whisper warnings in seismic tremors and rising gases. But to leap from centuries of silence into explosive fury—without warning—is geological betrayal. Dormant volcanoes rarely awaken. Extinct ones are said to be finished. And Krasheninnikov? The Smithsonian Institution marks its last activity in 1550, nearly 475 years ago, and even Russian experts concede they’ve never confirmed an eruption in over 600 years. 

 So, what cracked the seal?

On Wednesday, July 31st, an 8.8-magnitude earthquake—among the most powerful in modern records—struck the region. Waves rippled as far as Japan, Alaska, and Central America, prompting tsunami warnings for Hawaii, the U.S. West Coast, and islands across Oceania. Then came the 7.0 quake on Sunday, just hours before the eruption, as if the land itself groaned under prophetic weight. Now, Krasheninnikov sends its plume eastward toward the Pacific, like smoke signals from a realm too long ignored.  

Prophetic Tremors 

The earth is not merely shifting; it’s declaring. Biblical prophecy often points to seismic and volcanic signs as precursors of greater upheaval—spiritual, political, moral. Could this be one such sign? Christ warned in Luke 21 that “great earthquakes shall be in divers places,” not as random chaos but as markers of unfolding judgment. This wasn’t a tremor in some obscure trench. It was a convergence of one of the strongest earthquakes in history and the first eruption of a long-dead volcano—in a place remote enough to be overlooked yet potent enough to shake the foundations of belief.

California Man Pledges Allegiance to ISIS, Sends Money, Builds a Bomb (3 August 2025)

His name is Mark Lorenzo Villanueva, a 28-year-old lawful permanent resident originally from the Philippines. He was arrested and charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS, a felony that could carry up to 20 years in federal prison. 

 Villanueva allegedly sent 12 payments totaling $1,615 to intermediaries overseas, communicated with self-identified ISIS fighters via social media, and expressed a desire to fight and die for the cause. During his arrest, the FBI reportedly found a homemade bomb in his bedroom. 

The rising hatred in this world is almost palpable. People aren’t losing love for one another; it has been lost. Whether on the streets of Cincinnati, or terror organizations such as ISIS and Hamas, it seems killing people is becoming much easier than loving them. The Bible makes this very prediction for the last days; “Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.” – Matthew 24:12 New Living Translation 

But even more is the laundry list of attributes that people will have in the last days: 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. – Romans 1:29-32 NIV 

And finally, there is the human element. It is quite easy to wonder what the world is coming to. Are your neighbors just your typical immigrants who are looking for a better life in America, or are they something else entirely? 

It’s easy to be suspicious and frightened looking at the things happening in the world. 25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.” – Luke 21:25-26 NIV 

But not all news is bad! The Bible says that when these things start to happen our salvation is near.  27 At that time they will see the Son of Manu coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” – Luke 21:27-28 NIV

Yet Another Earthquake: 3.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes New Jersey (3 August 2025)

New Jersey has been hit with a 3.0 magnitude earthquake Saturday night. Some felt the earthquake as far away as New York. No damage or casualties were reported. While smaller earthquakes, 1 to 2 magnitudes are detected by equipment once a year or so, these larger earthquakes capable of being felt have been happening with more frequency lately. 

 This is exactly what the Bible predicts will happen in the last days. “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” – Matthew 24:7 New International Version

France’s Decision to Play with Fire has Gotten them Burned. Again (2 August 2025) 

About a week ago, I wrote about the decision of French President Emmanuel Macron to formally recognize the State of Palestine at the United Nations General Assembly in September. While President Trump laughed off such a non-binding declaration, many countries sympathetic to Palestine was eager to celebrate the news. 

However, recent events have shocked the government and the people. 

A Palestinian-born student studying in France reposted an image on social media reportedly taken during a protest, which featured Adolf Hitler and included a caption calling for the murder of Jews. While French media has not disclosed the exact wording, The Jerusalem Post translated the caption as: “Kill the Jews everywhere. I don’t want a Jewish lineage on this earth. You must kill them before they kill you.” 

This has upset many in the French government including French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot. He has halted all evacuations from Gaza over growing outrage of the post. He also told French Info radio that the woman “must leave the country” and that she “has no place” in France. 

“No evacuation of any kind will take place until we have drawn the necessary conclusions from this investigation,” Barrot said in the interview.  

This hateful rhetoric has been plaguing the Jewish people for over 2 millennia. Why is it the Jews are such a target of hatred and violence? The Bible tells us exactly that in Deuteronomy 28.  

This is exactly why there will be no excuses for not knowing God. No one will be able to stand in front of God and claim they had no idea of his existence. Because the signs of his existence are right in front of our eyes, and one of the biggest signs is the Jewish people. Why is it that throughout history, all over the world, in different kingdoms, in different lands, the Jews automatically become a target of hatred? 

Because when Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt to Mount Sinai, he made a formal agreement with them. God needed a nation of people he could call his own. It was a necessary part of his plan for redeeming the whole world. He needed a people who would obey his laws and remain faithful to him in order to get his Messiah into the earth. And so they made a written binding contract, better known as a Testament. 

 As for the part of the Israelites, they had to promise to live according to God’s laws, including the famous 10 Commandments. If they would obey him, he promised to richly bless them in every area of their lives. Monetarily, Spiritually, Physically and Socially the Israelites would enjoy a rich, full life on this earth. 

However, disobedience would carry just the opposite. Worshipping other gods, living wickedly would lead to curses, and eventually exile. 

64 Then the LORD will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known. 65 Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart. 66 You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life. 67 In the morning you will say, “If only it were evening!” and in the evening, “If only it were morning!”—because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see. – Deuteronomy 28:64-67 NIV

Ring of Fire Shows No Signs of Slowing down (2 August 2025) 

Today, one of Indonesia’s most active volcanoes, Mount Lewotobi erupted for the second day in a row. This is a continuation of a series of events that have occurred in the Pacific Rim over the past few months. Volcanic material was hurled a staggering 11 miles into the air, along with columns of smoke. 

Debris blanketed the surrounding villages, but thankfully no injuries have been reported. This has been the largest eruption since the eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010.  

Of course, one cannot read this and not think of the dire predictions of Jesus himself surrounding the last days. I have written on this extensively in a blog post called, Revelation’s Sixth Seal and The Ring of Fire. 

Jesus warned us that in the last days terrible and frightening times would occur. This is yet another unusual event that tells us the end of this present age is near. Read what Jesus said in Luke 21:25-26 New Living Translation 

25 “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. 26 People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.”

Cincinnati: The Unrepentant City (1 August 2025) 

How Liberal Politics Gets in the Way of Keeping the Peace 

As the rhetoric fires up in Cincinnati, one glaring thing is clear: no one knows how to form the words “I’m sorry”. Today, Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval took to the media to say how committed he and his staff were to combatting violence in the city. But at no time, not even once did he utter the phrase “I’m sorry”.
What is missing from Cincinnati is a backbone. When the mayor allows Cincinnati city council President Pro Tem Victoria Parks to make a blatantly racist comment on Facebook, “They begged for that beat down! I am grateful for the whole story”, then it’s hard to convince anyone that the mayor is in charge. 
 When no one stands up to condemn such an obvious racist attitude, the silence doesn’t speak against racism but in favor of it. Let me make this clear; whether you agree with me or not, there is one thing that no one should forget: As long as one form of racism is allowed to exist, all forms of racism will exist. 
Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge also got on the mic to announce that more charges have been filed against three more individuals she claims was involved in a ‘fight’. Let’s make this clear, Chief. This was no fight; this was an attack on an older white man and a white woman, by a group of young black men.  
 There is nothing like a weak-kneed politician to really set things backwards. The mayor should have taken charge of the situation; he should have called this a racist attack, he should have condemned it in the strongest possible terms, and he should have stood up there and promised the people of Cincinnati that no form of racism would ever be tolerated in his city. Instead, he stood there like a deer in headlights, worrying over every word he spoke. Steamed broccoli has more backbone than that. 
 And as for Cincinnati city council President Pro Tem Victoria Parks, it appears the only time she opens her mouth is to change feet. Someone needs to remind her of the words of Mark Twain,“It is better to be silent and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.” My question is, who is in charge of Cincinnati anyway? 
 Is it the young-looking mayor who can’t seem to stare a camera in the eye, or the loud-mouthed Pro Tem Victoria Parks? Ms. Parks seems to be a broken compass; she has her own ideas of racism, but when the needle tries to spin in a direction other than the way she is facing, then she becomes an agitator rather than a leader. She is too busy trying to clear the speck out of Cincinnati’s eye rather than deal with the beam in her own.
This, in and of itself is called racism: maybe you’ve heard of it. The idea that one race has a green light to engage in hatred because of another person’s skin color. But why the slow decision to do anything? Three monkeys sat on a log, one covers his eyes while vacationing in Canada, one closes her ears hoping that the silence will make it go away, and the third should have covered her mouth but didn’t have the common sense to do so! 
 Will this lead to more violence on the streets of Cincinnati? Who knows. But a lot of wisdom can be found in a book that you probably wouldn’t find in the mayor’s office. “A soft answer turns away wrath.” (Proverbs 15:1) *****

Tennesse Manhunt Underway for Suspected Killer of 4 Family Members (1 August 2025)

Authorities are urgently searching for Austin Drummond, who is reportedly armed and dangerous. This follows the shocking discovery of a baby found abandoned and four family members killed in a brutal incident. Danny Goodman Jr., Attorney General for the 29th Judicial District of Tennessee, provided updates on the case, underscoring the seriousness of the situation and the intensity of the search efforts. Authorities strongly suspect Drummond is responsible for the deaths of four family members. 

Officials say this was a targeted killing, not a spontaneous snap. The victims were all family members of Drummond’s girlfriend, and the baby he abandoned was related to all four. That level of planning and relational proximity suggests motive, not madness. 

Drummond is known to have an extensive criminal history. Drummond’s record stretches back to 2011, starting with evading arrest and attempted burglary. At 17, he committed an armed robbery at a gas station, stealing $44 while threatening the clerk with a pistol. He served 13 years for aggravated robbery and retaliation for past actions, with his sentence ending in September 2024. 

Post-Prison Charges: Immediately upon release, Drummond was hit with new charges — including gun, drug, and contraband violations inside the prison itself. By December, he was charged with attempted first-degree murder and possession of contraband in a penal facility. He later bonded out and was awaiting court dates when this quadruple homicide occurred. 

Drummond also has a known involvement with drugs. He has faced meth-related charges, along with possession of unlawful telecommunication devices while incarcerated. These suggest ongoing criminal activity and possible substance abuse, though no toxicology or behavioral reports have been released. 

This case is a textbook example of all the things God has warned us about as signs of the last days. The Bible tells us plainly, and without need for interpretation that in the last days people will lose their love for one another. It tells us the cause:   

Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12 NLT)  

This isn’t some shrouded, cryptic verse where layers of symbology have to be peeled away to get to the meaning. This is a straight shooting, plain prediction of how it will be in the last days. And the Bible has once again nailed it word-for-word of what we’re seeing in the end times. But that isn’t all, not even close. 

1 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. (2 Timothy 3:1-4 NLT) 

Notice in particular it says, “consider nothing sacred” and “have no self-control”. Now some people when they see the word ‘sacred’ start thinking about the religious implications. But let’s back up a little and let’s just take the Bible at its word, at face value. At one time, we protected our families, we honored and respected the family of our spouses. We made special attempts to take extra care of infants and children. But Drummond? Just the opposite. Allegedly, he showed no respect or took no steps to treat family and children with the due respect they deserve. Literally, he considered nothing sacred.  

And I don’t think we even have to get into this whole question of no self-control. Clearly, Drummond did not have the self-control needed to walk away from a situation, regardless of how angry, frustrated or whatever else he was feeling at the time.  

If this were an isolated incident, then it would be very different to think of one person, again allegedly, who let his emotions overtake what was obviously a set of very bad decisions. But this is happening again and again, not only here in America but around the world. Mass shooting, mass stabbing; people running over one another in automobiles. This is not just an outbreak of random violence, this is a pattern of behavior that the Bible predicted would happen in the last days. 

And let’s talk about another subject, drug use. To use words like Rampant, or Epidemic truly fails to describe the amount of casual drug use in this country. 70.5 million people (nearly 1 in 4 Americans aged 12+) used illegal drugs or misused prescription drugs in the past year. In 2023 alone, 47.7 million people were current illegal drug users — meaning they used within the last 30 days. 

And you know what? They show no signs of remorse for using drugs, nor do they even recognize it as something that is wrong, despite the condition their lives fall to when becoming a regular user of drugs. In the book of Revelation, we read: 

“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.” (Revelation 9:21 KJV) 

See the word sorceries? That word in the original text was pharmakeia. The Greek word φαρμακεία (pharmakeia, Strong’s G5331) is indeed the root of our modern word pharmacy. The Bible is showing us in no uncertain terms that the end times are not just coming, but they are already here.  

People are becoming more evil every day. This is not some type of society backlash, where people are victims of their circumstances. This is a direct result of the lack of direction that occurs when every moral outpost, even foundation is systematically removed from our culture. And the result is the world around us.
