Finding Clarity In Today’s Society

Like most of you, I have been watching current events with a wide array of emotions. First of all, there is the frustration of what most of us see as completely unreasonable events. Men in women’ s sports; the ever expanding list of pronouns that will soon need an entire dictionary of their own; men having the right to walk into a women’ s bathroom; the idea that children may not be old enough to drink, smoke, vape of even drive, but are old enough to decide to be transgender.

Then the outright anger. Two people, who were young; a handsome young man and a beautiful young lady, both who were very smart, with their entire lives ahead of them, senselessly gunned down over nothing more than their ancestry. I’m talking about the recent terrorist event at the Jewish Heritage Museum in Washington, D.C. People who commit crimes against Jews, but are not prosecuted by liberal prosecutors, because their careers are more important than justice. People who gather together in prayer only to be attacked by organized militant groups.

Then there is fear. Can you safely send your children to school? Go out in public? The sudden embrace of lawlessness by liberals who not only condemn the enforcement of law, but have somehow made their way into power?

If you don’t know Christ, then you have very good reason to be terrified! Not only do you have good reason, but things are only getting worse from here. This is only a shadow, a preview of what is coming! But for Christians, we know all these things that are happening are simply signs that the most monumental event in the history of the world is about to take place.

We Are Not Alone

There is no good reason for a Christian to feel hopeless. I know, I myself struggle with anger and frustration. I literally cringe when I think about these things that are happening right here in America. You need to read my other blog on this very same site: Signs of the Times. More than once I mention how much the world has changed in the years I’ve been alive. When I think of the times when I was young, it’s like thinking about a different world. If you are under 30, you have no idea what my time as a youth was like.

It’s hard to see the America I knew when I was younger turn into this evil generation. The things that pass for acceptable now would never have taken place in my America. Recently I made a comment about all the earthquakes, particularly those on the east coast as being our Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves. A country where laws are enforced at the discretion of a mob of protestors?

But as Christians we are not alone! We have a very real, very interested God who watches over us day and night. And His word promises us that ‘not one hair on our head shall perish (Luke 21:18). Not only do we have a God, but we have a Savior Jesus Christ who completed our redemption by dying in our place. This gives us the right to come to God the Father with boldness.

The Writing Is On The Wall

All these things are happening around us and will continue to happen and it will get worse. This is simply a progression of events that take place when a group of people turn their backs on God. Some people may believe this is some sort of judgement. But that is not the case. This is more of cause and effect, as was clearly laid out in the Bible. The Bible tells us that God has reserved his judgement on mankind for now, in order to get them the opportunity to repent. But those days are drawing to an end.

So let’s lay this out in very simple terms. First of all, there will be no excuses. I’ve heard many people say foolish things like when they face God they’re going to say things like, why didn’t you let me know you were real? That isn’t going to fly. Why did you make me gay? He didn’t. These are simply the arrogant ponderings of those who have already knowingly turned their backs on God and the Bible proves it: (For this I will be using the New Living Translation in the hope that if an unbeliever reads this, he or she will be able to understand the plain modern language of the translation)

18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. – Romans 1:18-20 NLT

Do you realize what this is saying? God has made his presence obvious! God is telling us that through his creation, his existence is obvious, and therefore people will not be able to use the excuse of atheism in order to justify their sins. As a Christian you know this is true. We live in a fallen, corrupt world.Yet despite its current state, there are beautiful places all over this earth.

The Law of Entropy and Creation

Do you see how even AI talks about nature in a way that implies a design, an order of things? In fact, Microsoft’s AI directly attributes this ability to ‘work with nature in a clever way’. As if this ethereal, non-entity ‘nature’ has a consciousness and can work around problems!

So, without even realizing it, scientists already acknowledge that a power of some sort actively works to find ways around problems.

As Goes One Part, So Goes Another

Now we see that we have this group of people who knowingly turn their backs on the knowledge of God. Now the Bible says what happens is a result of that disobedience. Not that God is judging someone but as simple cause and effect. For example, you get in a car, start it, put it in gear, and press the gas. Would you be surprised if the car moved forward? You’d be surprised if it didn’t!

21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. – Romans 21-23 New Living Translation

Now we see the effect. Their minds become dark and confused. They believe themselves to be wise, but instead they become foolish in their thinking! Stop and reflect on that for a moment! Do you think it’s foolish to allow men to participate in women’s sports? Do you wonder why anyone would think that is acceptable? Now you know why.

“They worshipped idols made to look like mere people, birds and animals.” The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same. In today’s vernacular they have simply hidden their idols. They call this ‘Nature’, ‘Mother Nature’, ‘Mother earth’. Some even call it ‘Evolution’. But no matter the name they give it, they have replaced the One True Living God with an idol; this idol may be symbolic in nature, but it is an idol nonetheless. Because to believe all this came from simply nothing, or a huge series of coincidence is just too unbelievable for anyone to accept. Whether they admit it or not.

Another thing scientists have given supernatural powers to is time. Take nothing, add a few billion years of time, and viola! You have a completely formed universe, ready to move it. It is nothing short of mind boggling that scientists are willing to give these natural things supernatural abilities, but won’t recognize the supernatural ability of a Creator.

24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

Do you think homosexuality is the problem? NO! It is nothing more than a symptom of a problem. Not all people fall into homosexuality; but no matter what evil their hearts desire, they give in to those desires. And do you see why? Not because God has cursed them, but because he abandoned them to the evil one. This is why mothers kill their children; and why fathers kill their entire families. Why a stranger walks into a public place and kills people at random. And that is why you see all of these things happening with increased frequency;because they have refused to acknowledge God.

We Have Focused on the Wrong things

When I was young, just a kid, the Beatles exploded onto the scene. I remember being in 4th grade and having long hair and people ‘mistaking’ me for a girl. My mother was a Missionary Baptist; and if you’ve never suffered much in your life, may I recommend a Missionary Baptist Church? At church we had a New Year’s eve service called ‘Night Watch’. Basically it was the worst New Year’s Eve party on earth. No one believed in playing guitars in church, no one believed in dancing, drinking, women wearing pants, and believe it or not, nobody believed in clapping their hands. I kid you not.

Here I was this little long haired kid at Night Watch service. The pastor even got up on the stage to remark he had seen a child that ‘I couldn’t tell you if it was a boy or girl’. While churches all over the country played these silly games of trying to earn righteousness, the real war was going on behind their backs. In 1963 the Supreme Court ruled that Bible study could no longer be taught in schools. Some years before, evolution was introduced as an alternative to creation.

So in a very real way, we are simply harvesting the crops we planted in negligence. We allowed ourselves to be focused on the mundane, the shallow, the nonsensical rather than keep our nation clean of all this evil through the underlying cause: Idol worship. If you teach a child he is nothing but an animal, don’t be surprised if he acts like an animal. If you teach a child that unborn lives doesn’t matter, then don’t be surprised when he doesn’t think any life matters.

30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. – Romans 1:30-32 New Living Translation

Now we see the full harvest of their actions and it reads like an excerpt from a news story. I once hurt some feelings with a very real comment I made. Not because I wanted to hurt someone or offend them, but because sometimes the bold truth is needed to wake someone up. This is what I said:

“So basically you scrimp and save, trying to build up a decent college fund. You buy store brand food, you cut corners, you even shop at Goodwill, just to make sure that your child has a future. Then you send them off to some prestigious college like Harvard, Princeton or some other college. And four years later they send you back a blue-haired, face pierced, anti-Semitic, non-conformist who spends the next 20 years living in your basement”

While this may seem harsh, it is an accurate statement about the programming into your child’s mind that happens when they go off to college. While this doesn’t happen to every student, the percentages are high enough to make any parent cautious about sending a child off to any higher education facility.

There’s a Light At the End of The Tunnel, and It’s Not an Oncoming Train

The more we see these things come to pass, the more we should lift up our heads! The more excited we should be. While things are terrible on this planet right now, there is about to be a huge change!Imagine a world without crime; a world without hunger, homelessness, or disease. Imagine a time when people are happy, and the air is clear and water is pure. Living in a world where snakes are no longer poisonous, lions and tigers no longer pose a threat to humans.

No this isn’t some made up fantasy world, In fact this is how the world was intended to be in the first place. The garden of Eden was a real place; and it will be remade again. And someday we as children of God will be able to live there. But for right now, we have nothing to fear about the events taking place upon this earth.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t have a duty to fulfill while we’re here. We can make big changes to the world around us! Hasten the return of the Lord, by spreading the Gospel. We can make sure those who are hurting around us have the tools they need to turn their lives around if that is what they want to do.

Remember we have to be like God; if someone is on a road to destruction we have no right to pull them off that road. We can tell them about the road they’re on; we can offer every type of assistance possible. But the one thing we cannot do is interfere with their right to choose to destroy themselves.

I just saw Alice Cooper for the first time in April of this year. I have always heard what a great show he puts on, but I have to say it was awesome.

After years of severe drug use and alcoholism—to the point where he was “throwing up blood every morning”—Cooper hit a breaking point during his recovery from a cocaine addiction. He recounts a specific instance where he looked in the mirror and saw blood coming out of his eyes (which he believes may have been a hallucination or a spiritual wake-up call). He realized he was going to die if he didn’t change.

In the mid-1980s (specifically around the time of his 1986 album Constrictor), he and his wife Sheryl began attending church again and seeking Christian counseling. He has been sober ever since, credited his recovery to his faith, and often refers to himself as a “new creature.”

He famously summed up his conversion by saying:

“People say, ‘Think of all you gave up to be a Christian.’ What did I give up? Dying of alcoholism? I’m not giving anything up. I’m gaining everything.”

Christians Beware: End Time Deception

Are The Latest Headlines Signaling “The Lie”

As of today, I have seen almost a dozen stories online: Pastors were allegedly called to a ‘secret’ meeting with government officials concerning an apparent upcoming disclosure about Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), and Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAPs). According to several well known televangelists and pastors who claimed they attended this meeting and were warned of several disclosures about to be told to the American people.

NOTE: I have made up my mind not to call out names in this article. There are several individuals involved in this that I personally am skeptical about. It is not appropriate to call out names of people unless I have spoken to them personally beforehand, and they refuse to hear me.

According to the stories, these so-called disclosure will contradict the story of creation as told by the Bible. As the story goes, these pastors were called in beforehand in order to make them aware of some type of reptilian inter-dimensional beings. These being claim they were responsible for the human race. I know these claims sound ridiculous, but think about this from an unsaved point of view.

For the world, this is exactly the type of explanation the world is waiting for. The world has been desperate for a savior, and for many aliens from outer space represent the ultimate saviors. A group of aliens who have the solutions to all our problems. They know how to heal our incurable diseases. They know how to resolve all of our international disputes, end drought and hunger issues, and basically create a utopia on earth.

Isn’t is such a coincidence that ever since man was kicked out of Eden, all his time and efforts have been spent at trying to recreate it. From the Tower of Babel, to modern Socialism, the efforts of man have focused on proving to God they can create utopia without Him.

A Warning From the Bible

When the disciples came to Jesus and asked him, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age?” The very first thing he mentioned, the one thing he thought was more important than anything else, was,

Take heed that no man deceive you. ⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. – Matthew 24:4-5 KJV

Jesus took several opportunities to warn us not to be deceived during the end times.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. – Matthew 24:11 KJV

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. ²⁵ Behold, I have told you before. ²⁶ Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. – Matthew 24:24-26 KJV

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. ²³ But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. – Mark 13:22-23 KJV

Notice the Scripture: See for yourself, the Bible uses the word ‘Seduce’. This indicates this is more than just a deception: This is seduction. This is something that the world wants to hear, this is something they long for. This is more than just a lie, this is the promise to fulfill something wanted.

“So That They Will Believe ‘The Lie””

This is perhaps the most direct reference to a “great deception.” The Apostle Paul explains that because people refuse to love the truth, they become vulnerable to a supernatural blinding.

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, ¹⁰ and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. ¹¹ Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, ¹² in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. – 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 ESV

I don’t know if this is the ‘strong delusion’ or not. In the hands of a master of deception, what now sounds like a poorly written science fiction story could actually deceive the masses. Especially when God puts a supernatural property to it that causes people to believe it.

But whatever the future holds, remember this: No other book in history has predicted the future with 100% accuracy like the Bible. The Bible isn’t ‘close’, or ‘almost’, the Bible is provable to be a supernatural book. Nothing in the Bible is wrong. Nothing in the Bible has become ‘corrupted’ or incomplete. The Qur’an isn’t necessary in order to make the Bible complete. The Book of Mormon isn’t needed in order to complete the Bible. In fact, let’s make something clear right now.

Whose God IS God?

According to Islam, the Bible was once the true word of Allah. However, Allah’s word became corrupt, and it was necessary to raise up the Prophet Muhammed in order to correct the corrupted word.

According to Mormons, parts of the Bible were lost over time; it was necessary to send the Angel Moroni to visit Joseph Smith and give him the missing texts of the Bible in order to restore God’s word.

I believe the Bible is the inerrant, uncompromised word of God. I believe the God of the Bible was powerful enough to insure His Word did not get corrupted throughout the centuries. If these other gods were unable to keep their word from becoming corrupted, then perhaps the god of the Muslims and the god of the Mormons aren’t really gods after all.

The Deception of the Whole World

¹¹ Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. ¹² It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. ¹³ It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, ¹⁴ and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, – Revelation 13:11-14 ESV

There will come a day when the beast and his second, what some people call the ‘False Prophet‘ will perform signs and wonders. They will be able to call fire down from the sky; whether this is an actual miracle or some slight of hand trick, but they will destroy their enemies. And all the world will be convinced; they will be worship the beast, the image of the beast who performs signs and wonders among them.

My Final Admonition

I am strongly encouraging everyone who reads this to begin reading your Bible and reading it regularly. No matter what, no matter how much pressure is put upon you: Cling to the words of the Bible like your immortal soul depends on it. Because that is exactly what is at stake. The Bible says many will leave or ‘stray away’ from the faith:

¹ Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, ² through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, – 1 Timothy 4:1-2 ESV

One of the most influential people in my life was Chuck Missler. Although I never met him personally I spent years listening to his teachings, studying his Bible Studies. There was one thing I never thought would come to pass in the USA. Dr. Missler would warn his listeners that the would come a day when the only Word of God we possess is what we retain in our memories.

For years, I never thought this would come to pass. But given the latest reports, I can now see a day when Bibles are removed from the shelves of bookstores, libraries and hotels. The Bible would be placed on a list, right along beside Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf. Even now in other countries, restrictions on the Bible are already in place.

I am asking you as a Christian, let the Bible become your new best friend. Read it, study it; memorize what you can. Write down important Scriptures and gather as much teaching as you can. Jesus promised us that in the last days, we’ll be hated of all nations. We already are: But imagine how Christians will be received if we stand up and proclaim this latest disclosure is false. How angry would they be, thinking their salvation has finally come, only to have a group of people casting doubt on their elation?

Remember, Jesus himself said, “I am the way, the truth and the light. No man comes to the father except through me” (John 14:6).

No other man can save you. No alien life form, no one else. If anyone, be he flesh and blood or spirit claims to be able to save you, don’t believe it. Remember any spirit that cannot say, “Jesus is Lord” cannot be trusted to be from God.

What’s a mystery from your own life that you’ve never solved?

Penelope Bolling Clark was my 9th Great-grandmother. She was the wife of Christopher Clark, and both were dedicated Quakers who chose to spend their retirement founding a new colony in Virginia. Although my last name is Bowling, the only known relation to Penelope is actually through her husband Christopher. However, there is a rather lively controversy over the lineage of Penelope. One camp says that Penelope’s maiden name was Bolling. The other camp has invested a great deal in the writings of one man who claims Penelope’s maiden name was Johnson. Curiously there are mountains of circumstantial evidence pointing to Penelope being a Bolling, but very little evidence the other way.

But what makes this so outrageous is the fact that I have been kicked off two ancestry websites for simply researching this idea that Penelope was a Bolling. I kid you not. I consider those to be badges of honor, because I believe genealogy is something that should be explored and something that should have room for discussion. It was those ‘discussions’ that got me kicked out. So, I ended up writing my own research paper on my 9th ggm, and so far, it’s one of the most popular things I’ve written. Right now there are two genealogy websites out there that recognize my work on this subject, who have banned me from their website. Genealogy is one crazy world.

As Crime Continues Out of Control, Can Christians Be Safe?

Just today, there’s a report on Fox News about a mass shooting in Oklahoma’s Arcadia Lake. It seems two masked men showed up and began firing on a group of people who were attending a “Sunday Funday” event. If this were an isolated event, then it might be a different story. But the bottom line is, these things are literally becoming a daily event.

But the question is, as a Christian do we have to live in fear? How do we protect ourselves? I have good news for you! God’s promises are real, they are effective and they are available for you, without condition.

Are Old Testament Prophecies Available To Us?

Absolutely! Remember, the New Covenant (the New Testament) is based on better promises than the old. Under the Old Testament, conditions were placed on promises that were required to be met in order to enjoy the promises. There was a code of behavior, there were sacrifices that had to be performed, and consequences for those who disobeyed.

But we have a special relationship with Jesus that gives us access to these Old Testament promises without having to fulfill the requirements.

²⁶ So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, ²⁷ for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. ²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. – Galatians 3:26-29 NIV

⁶ Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” ⁷ So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. – Galatians 4:6-7 NIV

¹⁵ For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance —now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. – Hebrews 9:15 NIV

So we see here in the scriptures that Jesus has taken our place: Since he perfectly fulfilled the law of the Old Testament, we were allowed to be a completely new creature; we are no longer bound under the definitions of Gentile or Jew, but we are one with Jesus.

Therefore these promises of the Old Testament are ours, not because of anything we did, but what Jesus did for us. Stop right here and think about this for a moment. You no longer are subject to your own righteousness: We are the righteousness of Christ. His perfection is our inheritance.

Simply put, we qualify for the Old Testament promises through Jesus. We co-heirs of the promises Jesus inherited through his righteousness. It’s like being given a credit card with no limit: It’s not due to anything we have earned, but because someone is sharing their wealth with us.

This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. – Ephesians 3:6 NIV

Promises That Belong To You, Through Christ

⁴ I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears.
⁵ Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
⁶ In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened;
he saved me from all my troubles.
⁷ For the angel of the LORD is a guard;
he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

⁸ Taste and see that the LORD is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
⁹ Fear the LORD, you his godly people,
for those who fear him will have all they need.
¹⁰ Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. – Psalms 34:4-10 NLT

Don’t just skim over this! Read it; study it; look for things you can use in order to protect yourself and your family! These are YOUR promises through Jesus! Let’s take a close look.
- I prayed to the Lord and he answered me; he freed me from all my fears. Can a person really be completely free of fear? YES!!! A thousand times yes! Are you tired of being afraid?
- In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened; he saved me from all my troubles. Do you have troubles? Right now, as you are reading this, do you have troubles? Why? This is a lifeline; this is a promise from Almighty God.
- For the angel of the LORD is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him. Here is your promise! God may not have permission to stop that school shooter, that mass shooter in the public space, but he can absolutely protect you, your family and especially your children. Place your trust in a very real God, and stop worrying. Rest in the peace of God.
- Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. What a promise! Are you worried about keeping your home? Can you pay your bills? Stop worrying and get under the wing of God’s protection through his promises.
The Teflon Shield of Protection

This is the ultimate protection promised in the Old Testament. This is the Scriptures I quote when something raises its head against me. The 91st Psalm, a treasure trove of some of the most powerful promises in the Bible. Even Satan quoted these verses when tempting Christ. This is proof positive this Psalm was written for Christ. But remember we are joint-heirs with Christ and heirs according to the promise:

¹ Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
² I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
³ Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

⁴ He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
⁵ You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
⁶ nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
⁷ A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

⁸ You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
⁹ If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,

If you’re not shouting for joy right now, you either didn’t read it, or you don’t believe it. This is the bullet proof, demon proof, all encompassing, total protection. No man, woman or child should fear anything, after reading this wonderful promise. This promise is yours!
- A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. ⁸ You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. No plague shall touch you, no violence shall touch you. There are riots in your street? Stand firm! Though a thousand may fall beside you, though ten thousand may die in front of you, it will not touch you!
- no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. Of course when this were written, most people lived in tents. But the same thing applies to your home. In your home is your spouse, your children, even your pets. No harm means “No Harm”.
Stop worrying, stop living in fear and start combing through the Old Testament. Find the necessary promises you need to sustain yourself and your family, and start living in peace. This works: I have seen it work more than once in my own life. I have seen miracles take place because my family and I claimed these promises for ourselves. This is not cross-fingered hope. This is a real comfort, a real peace that you can use to cover yourself and your family as a blanket, a shield, a body guard to protect you and your loved ones.

Just as the Bible says in Psalm 34, “⁸ Taste and see that the LORD is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!”

Yes, indeed! Oh the joys of those who take refuge in him. Run to your refuge in Him.

Exploring The Ideology of Transgender People

During the Erin Molan show, Ms. Molan referred to the ‘transgender cult’; this got me to thinking. Strictly speaking, is Transgenderism a cult? Now, whether or not it is a cult there are some basic things that no rational person can dismiss: The Transgender community has some very radical and disturbing ideas about life in America.

And there can be no doubt as the rate of violence attributed to transgender adults continues to climb, at some point there is going to have be a conversation about what is transgenderism. Is it a cult? Or something even more serious.

The “Qualifications” of a Cult

In order for any group to be deemed a cult, there has to be a certain criteria that is met. After all, if there is no standard, any group of people regardless of how benevolent or how violent, can simply deny cult status. So I put together four qualifications, or four markers, of what makes up a cult:

The Defining Characteristics of a Cult:

A Charismatic Leader or Group of Leaders: One of the surest hallmarks of a cult is a leader. Someone who defines the movement. This can also be a group of people, but whether a single individual or group, this leadership must have absolute authority over the group as a whole. They are allowed to dictate and change policy, they are capable of judging persons or factions within the group, and of course, their word is final authority in any dispute.
Shunning: How are members of the public treated? Are they welcomed into the group? What about people who oppose the group? What in particular is the policy should a group member be pressured by friends and family to leave the group?
Dogma: If there is one thing in particular that is common to every single cult, it is the set of beliefs. Does the transgender community have a certain set of policy standards? Do they insist on a certain, universal set of beliefs? Can individual members have the freedom to disagree with the group and still remain among the ‘faithful’?
Former Members: Again, one of the hallmarks of a cult is how former members are treated? Are they, as Christians often do, mourn the loss of church member and encourage former members to return, or is their approach more heavy-handed? Do former members experience harassment, abuse, or even violence?

And of course there are more identifiers that point to a group experiencing cult behavior, but these four criteria are plenty for today’s study. Before we begin, however, we must define our subject: A transgender is a person who believes gender is fluid. They can literally change their gender as easily as changing their mind. There doesn’t have to be any physical change: In fact, people can choose to be ‘non-binary’, a phrase describing a condition where they can choose from day to day as to what gender they will be on that particular day.

It is important to note that no physical requirements either needed or necessary in order to be transgender. A biological man, for example, can don a women’s one-piece bathing suit in just as easily slip into a female ‘persona’, and literal change back when the bathing suit comes off.

People who do not identify as transgender themselves can also be part of this community by simply sharing the beliefs of the community. It is literally one of the most dangerous ideas in the history of mankind: “If you believe it, then it’s true”. It is estimated that nearly a million souls pour into hell every day. And a surprisingly large number of them would be considered to be religious. However, they have lost their souls due to being deceived by a “if you believe it, then it’s true” religion.

Criteria #1: A Charismatic Leader or Group of Leaders

There is no “Pope,” “CEO,” or “Prophet” of transgenderism. The community is a global, decentralized social group. While there are prominent figures (such as Laverne Cox, Caitlyn Jenner, or various YouTubers), their “word” is frequently debated, criticized, or ignored by other transgender people. This dissociation of a unified leader has been a both a blessing and a curse to the transgender community.

While it offers great protection from the idea of ‘guilt by association’; this lack of a unified voice has kept their policy ideas restricted to the local and state level, with zero support in the national level. This also hinders their ability to become a voice. Again in one state or in one city they might have great representation, but in the neighboring city or state, their ideas are openly ridiculed. This is a clear ‘no’; the transgender community is clearly lacking the charismatic leadership required to be considered a cult.

Criteria #2: Shunning

This is an area where the transgender community has made some very definite inroads to becoming a cult. While members aren’t encouraged to shun family members, friends and others who might try to remove them from the community, their point of view comes from a ‘self-protection’ ideal:

Many transgender individuals face high rates of family rejection or verbal abuse. They are often encouraged by peers or therapists to set “hard boundaries” or go “No Contact” with anyone who refuses to use their new name/pronouns or who actively opposes their transition. This is framed as self-preservation and protecting one’s mental health.

While on the surface this may seem as nothing more than the preservation of a member’s well-being and mental health, in reality this is a point of contention, especially among minors. This is the very argument that many parents have. Children are told to keep secrets from parents, not to ‘open up’. This leads to a invisible boundary between the children and the parent. Children then begin to make decisions for themselves, despite their obvious immaturity to make such decisions.

As I myself have pointed out from time to time. trans kids are not allowed to drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, or engage in sexual activity, but they are allowed to make choices about their bodies that will affect them for the rest of their lives concerning puberty and the prescribing of certain drugs without the parents knowledge. This is a very dangerous precedent; and definitely is a sign of cult-like behavior.

Criteria #3: Dogma

Does the transgender community have a universal set of beliefs and ideas? Do transgender people keep certain beliefs as universal to the group’s core beliefs?

The following principles are generally considered the “core beliefs” of the movement. In many activist and academic spaces, these are treated as axioms rather than theories:

Gender Identity as the “True Self”: The belief that everyone has an internal, innate “gender identity” that is separate from their physical body. This internal sense is considered the person’s “authentic” self, while the physical body is often described as “assigned” or even “incorrect.”
Trans Women are Women / Trans Men are Men: This is the central mantra of the movement. It is not intended as a metaphorical statement but as a literal, ontological fact. To suggest there is a meaningful distinction between a “trans woman” and a “biological woman” is often treated as a violation of this core tenet.
The Subjectivity of Biological Sex: A more recent core belief is that biological sex itself is a “social construct” or a “spectrum” rather than a binary reality. This belief allows for the reclassification of sex-based categories (like “female”) to include anyone who identifies with them.
Affirmation as the Only Moral Response: The “Affirmation Model” holds that the only ethical way to treat someone (especially a child) who expresses gender distress is to immediately validate their self-identification. Any attempt to investigate underlying trauma, co-occurring mental health issues, or to suggest “watchful waiting” is often labeled as “conversion therapy.”

Dogma and the Lack of Variance

This is where the “cult-like” label is most frequently applied by critics. While there is a massive amount of internal disagreement among academics, in the public and political sphere, the movement often enforces a very rigid “all or nothing” platform:

The Shibboleth of Language: Pronouns and specialized terminology (like “cisgender,” “chestfeeding,” or “people with uteruses”) act as tests of loyalty. Refusing to use this language is often interpreted not as a difference of opinion, but as an act of “violence” or “erasure.”
The “Heresy” of Internal Critics: As mentioned before, transgender people who disagree with the mainstream platform (such as those who believe biology still matters or that children shouldn’t transition) are often treated more harshly than outsiders. They are frequently labeled “traitors” and are effectively “excommunicated” from the community’s social and digital spaces.

The Internal Contradiction (The “Mystery”)

Interestingly, the movement’s “dogma” contains a major internal contradiction that members are expected to hold simultaneously—a phenomenon sometimes compared to the “doublethink” described in sociology:

Narrative A: “I was born this way; it is an innate, biological brain-map.” (Essentialism)
Narrative B: “Gender is a social construct created by patriarchal power structures.” (Post-modernism)

Logically, these two cannot both be true (gender cannot be both an innate biological essence and an arbitrary social invention). However, within the movement, both are used depending on which serves the immediate political or social argument. Questioning this contradiction is usually met with social hostility.

There is no doubt whatsoever that this is the strongest evidence of cult-like behavior: A set of shared, non-negotiable, rigid beliefs even in the face of provable science.

Criteria #4: Former Members

When investigating the treatment of “former trans people”—most commonly known as detransitioners—there is a clear pattern of social and verbal friction that critics often point to as evidence of cult-like behavior.

1. Labels and Monikers

The terminology used to describe this group is often a battleground in itself. Depending on who is speaking, the labels change significantly:

Term	Origin/Usage	Meaning/Implication
Detransitioner	Community-led	Someone who has medically or socially reversed their gender transition.
Desister	Clinical/Older	Usually refers to children or teens who stopped identifying as trans before medical intervention.
TERF	Activist Slur	Short for “Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist.” Frequently used as a label for detransitioners who speak out against gender-affirming care.
Grifter	Activist Slur	A common accusation that a detransitioner is “faking” their regret or story for money from conservative donors.
Traitor	Social Slur	Used within the community to suggest the person has betrayed the “trans cause.”

2. Harsh Treatment and Social Ostracism

While not all trans people treat detransitioners harshly, those who become vocal critics of the medical system often face severe social consequences that mirror the “shunning” you mentioned:

“Social Exile”: Many detransitioners report that their entire social circle vanished the moment they stopped identifying as trans. Because their lives were often centered around the community, this leaves them isolated.
De-platforming: If a detransitioners shares a story of regret on social media (like TikTok or Reddit), they are frequently banned from trans-specific “safe spaces” or support groups, even if they still have gender dysphoria.
Character Assassination: High-profile detransitioners like Chloe Cole or Prisha Mosley are often accused of being “mentally unstable” or “brainwashed by the far-right” to invalidate their personal experiences.

3. Instances of Violence and Intimidation

There have been documented instances of physical violence and aggressive intimidation, usually occurring at protests where detransitioners or “gender-critical” women speak:

Physical Assaults: In one high-profile case in London, a trans activist named Tara Wolf was convicted of assaulting a 60-year-old woman, Maria MacLachlan, at a meeting regarding gender laws. In 2023, another activist in Aberdeen was cautioned for punching a 54-year-old woman at a similar rally.
Incitement to Violence: During a 2023 “Trans Pride” event, a prominent trans activist named Sarah Jane Baker was filmed telling a crowd, “If you see a TERF, punch them in the f***ing face.” While Baker was later arrested, the sentiment highlighted the vitriol directed at those who dissent.
Intimidation Tactics: Rallies featuring detransitioners are frequently met with counter-protesters using “noise-making” (bullhorns and sirens) to drown out their stories, or “smoke bombs” and physical blockades to prevent people from attending.

The Internal Dilemma

The “cult-like” aspect often comes from the refusal to acknowledge regret. Within the more radical wings of the movement, detransition is sometimes treated as a “heresy” that threatens the legitimacy of the entire identity. By labeling detransitioners as “enemies” or “grifters,” the group protects its core narrative from being questioned by those with firsthand experience of its failures.

In Conclusion:

In my personal opinion, the transgender movement is a new, radical, dangerous philosophy, in which we can be thankful that the ideology is so unorthodox, so quite frankly nonsensical, that is almost assuredly going to go the way of the braless movement of the 70’s. However, the increasing tendency toward violence in these individual and groups makes them far more dangerous than young women who burned their bras on college campuses.

And if you think this is good news, think again. The only thing, in my opinion that the transgender movement lacks is leadership. Should someone in the near future step forward that can be a voice to the members as well as a calming influence to the public. this would breathe life into this movement and make it even considerably more dangerous. This group, having already shown a propensity toward violence and murder, could easily morph into a genuine cult, but could just as easily go straight into the classification of domestic terrorism.

That is not a fear mongering statement: the murder of Charlie Kirk was allegedly brought about by Tyler James Robinson, a 22‑year‑old from Washington, Utah who was, according to reports, in a transgender relationship with another biological male who among other fantasies, often identified himself as a ‘furry’. This is the name for people who dress up in one piece animal costumes and pretend to actually be the animal.

Robert Dorgan (who also went by Roberta and used the surname Esposito/Dorgan), the person who opened fire at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, killing family members during a high school hockey game in February 2026. He then turned the gun upon himself. Just days before, he posted a chilling comment on social media in response to actor Kevin Sorbo, who stated that trans Rep. Sarah McBride is a man. In that reply Dorgan wrote:

“keep bashing us. but do not wonder why we Go BERSERK”

This unhinged, ‘loose canon’ mentality is exactly the type of activity that makes this transgenderism such a disturbing group. All they lack is leadership. These are only a small sample of the outbreak of violence among this group. The Bible tells us exactly the source of this violence and hatred. Transition to Terror

The Bible Has Predicted the Rise of Transgenders

As I have made the comparison many times before, the book of Romans gives us step-by-step predictions on these transgender people. Unfortunately, the Bible is 100% right about the outcome and in these last days, the Bible is unfolding like never before. This passage is lengthy, but it gives us a step-by-step progression of how these transgenders have developed:

¹⁸ But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. ¹⁹ They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. ²⁰ For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
²¹ Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. ²² Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. ²³ And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
²⁴ So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. ²⁵ They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. ²⁶ That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. ²⁷ And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
²⁸ Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. ²⁹ Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. ³⁰ They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. ³¹ They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. ³² They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. – Romans 1:18-32 NLT

Deception Point by Dan Brown is a book I’ve probably read a dozen times, and will probably read again. I would have to say 1984 is a close second, I’ve read that 5 or 6 times, absolutely mesmerized by the parallels of modern society. The only thing George Orwell got wrong was the date. If he would have called it 2026, then it would be prophetic.

A Believer of Christ in The Modern World

Today, I don’t have a subject to write about, instead I have something to share. Many times, I get to express my opinions and feelings on this blog. I’m angry, I’m frustrated, I’m in awe, dumbfounded, resigned, incredulous and protective. But rarely do I just talk about my feelings.

It honestly feels like I’ve walked through a portal; just 7 years ago (talk about a coincidence) the world was a much different, and much better place. People were different, places and times were different. It was a world where it was ok to help a stranger stranded beside the road. It was a time when for some reason, the world was different.

Then COVID-19 came along. Suddenly, we were in this new era of masks, social distancing, enforced limitations on the number of people who can enter a building. I witnessed lines of people standing outside of stores because in this area stores were given a ‘safe’ number of people to allow inside at one time. We were waiting for this miracle vaccine that never came. I myself was affected in several ways, including the loss of some dear friends who succumbed to COVID.

We were frightened for our lives: Never before in my life have I ever witnessed such a strange, selective disease. Some people became infected and showed no symptoms whatsoever. They would simply test positive, otherwise, they were completely healthy. Others died. And it seemed to strike without rhyme or reason. While generally, the older a person was, statistically the worse COVID could be, but that was no guarantee a younger person would survive.

I heard stories of COVID wiping out entire families; bodies being stored in refrigerated tractor trailers because the morgues were full. Hospitals full to capacity: Turning waiting rooms into wards, even lining up beds in the hallways.

I give glory to God and God alone: Twice I had COVID; the first time, it felt like a cold, and the very next day, I felt completely fine. I would have likened to a 24 hour virus. The second time was even milder, akin to springtime allergies. But to think that people I have known since I was a child and people much younger than me simply did not survive.

The Post COVID-19 World

And somehow, we never recovered: Oh, yes the world is free from COVID restrictions, no one wears a mask any longer, people are back to work and businesses are back open. But in a real way, the world was changed; never again to be the same. I am not making a joke: There are times when I wonder if COVID affected us in some psychological way that we have yet to realize. We somehow lost a conscience.

That is not an exaggeration, nor is it hyperbole. I honestly sometimes wonder if post COVID-19 world suffers from a lost conscience. We became hardened: we lost our compassion, we lost that part of our minds that tell us right from wrong. I sometimes wonder if there is a pattern among COVID victims.

Beginning around 2022, I started seeing a new trend; intolerance, especially among those who had little or no Christian background. These people stopped asking for recognition, and started demanding it. Those who actually became the very thing they once stood against: Intolerant people who had no compassion for anyone other than themselves and the people they shared a common ideological companionship with.

I started seeing street preachers physically attacked, verbally abused. Not simply ignored as in days past. But now they were being confronted: now they were being targeted. Likewise cities in America and nations around the world began passing laws prohibiting the free exercise, not of religion, but of Christianity in particular. Islam was given a free pass. The religion that spurred 9/11, The Munich Massacre, October 7th and many other heinous terrorism events were embraced.

And for this, there was only one conclusion. Jesus himself said,

¹⁸ “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. ¹⁹ If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. ²⁰ Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. – John 15:18-20 NIV

Let’s just take a moment and realize the truth: This world is evil. There is nothing in this world that is good, and just and compassionate. This world is evil. And guess which religion is embraced, and which is hated. “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own”

Antisemitism: The Hallmark of Hatred

One single thing is the true mark of someone whose mind has been poisoned by the evil called hatred. It is not just a feeling, or an emotion; hatred is a spirit. Once it invades a person, it spreads into every area of their lives. That’s why you see politicians and even members of Congress behave in such disturbing and embarrassing ways. Hatred has taken over their being to where they just don’t disagree with the Republican party, they hate Republicans.

Nothing proves the existence of the God of the Bible like the Jewish people. Their existence alone is enough to prove God’s word is true. However, God’s words does something no other book in the world can claim. God’s word writes history in advance. And that fact was what I chose as the slogan for my website: “Today’s News Headlines Were Written In Advance.”

The history of the Jewish people was written around 3,000 years ago or more. It’s not my intention to give examples of that here, but I have written several articles on Antisemitism. But the one story that stood out to me the most was Actress Mayim Bialik Claims College Students Chanted “We Want a Jewish Genocide”

Mayim Bialik is an American actress, neuroscientist, author, and former game show host who gained fame for starring as Blossom Russo in the NBC sitcom “Blossom” (1991–1995) and as Amy Farrah Fowler in the CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” (2010–2019), where she played a neuroscientist and received multiple Emmy nominations for her performance. She has also hosted “Jeopardy!” and is known for her advocacy, authorship, and contributions to science communication and mental health awareness.

She gave an interview on her view of what its like to be a Jewish person living in America. She claims that during a protest held at her Alma Mater, University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) students gathered in the quad in front of the Royce Hall and repeatedly chanted “We want a Jewish genocide!”. A quad (short for quadrangle) is an open, often grassy, rectangular or square area surrounded by buildings on a college or university campus.

The one thing that I have noticed on this claim, is the lack of video evidence! Are we to believe that no one, not one single student decided to pull out a phone and record the demonstration? The media and its blind bias will say ‘there’s no video evidence confirming that is what the students chanted. I will say, where is the evidence disproving it?

The absolute worst President in the history of the United States, Joe Biden couldn’t have hurt this country an harder. He allowed thousand of Palestinian Agent Provocateurs into this country posing as college students. They immediately went to work poisoning the minds of these impressionable college kids, telling them outright lies about how they are being ‘victims of genocide’. Let me take an opportunity to point out a very offensive truth:

“For the last 2,000 years, every generation has had an excuse to hate Jews. Genocide against Palestine is this generation’s excuse, nothing more.”

For these college students, it was an easy jump to antisemitism. As Joseph Goebbels, the Propaganda Minister of the German Nazi Party once said,

“A lie told once remains a lie; a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth”

Eighty years later it remains true; repeat this lie of genocide enough and people believe it. But the only real genocide taking place in the middle east is the terror attacks carried out by Hamas and Hezbollah. Let Hamas carry out an unprovoked attack on innocent Jews, and it’s seen as a ‘necessary event in order to get the world’s attention to the genocide carried out by the Israelis.

Let the Israeli government defend themselves and the legacy media decries the ‘carnage carried out by the Israeli government on a peaceful people’. I have some uncomfortable truth for the world; these are God’s people you’re acting on, and he has promised them wrath on their enemies.

The World Grows Cold

The most incredibly disturbing thing that came out of COVID-19 was the callousness and cold-heartedness that came into the hearts of people. People began cheering when other people died, just because of some meaningless political belief. But they didn’t stop there: the hatred particularly among the liberal community became literally palpable, and has only grown worse.

People began disrespecting the USA, disrespecting the flag. They tried to kill Donald Trump for saying something as pure as “Make America Great Again”. It became a social media game of who could raise more eyebrows, who could be more cold-hearted, more disgusting than the previous post. They openly declared war on anything patriotic, holy, moral, or Christian. They resorted to violence on many occasions simply because the Supreme Court made a decision, or the government refused to recognize a special interest.

And it didn’t stop there. Women began murdering their children; they would birth babies and leave them in trash cans and dumpsters. They became a horror to America! They became the exact opposite of the way God intended women to behave and became a perverted competition to see who could become the most depraved. They completely turned their backs on anything that would be in the least bit holy and good and feminine and did things that people wouldn’t even consider a man to be capable of.

And likewise the men engaged in their own perversions. Fathers that killed their entire families, before turning the gun on themselves. Killing their wives because of their lusts for other women, or even worse other men, abandoning the role God had entrusted them as head and priest of their household. The man God intended to be the protector of the house became the threat. They turned the gift of masculinity into a threat to the community, acting like senseless animals, who kill their own offspring, and wreak havoc everywhere they go.

Even the children were not immune from the prevailing dark cloud of evil that overshadowed the world. Young adults who were so spoiled as children, the idea of restrictions, and the word ‘no’ is a foreign concept to them. They murder their parents who take away cell phones, they attack police who dare attempt to enforce a restriction on them. They throw temper tantrums so absolutely ridiculous that these are often recorded by bystanders who eagerly post them on social media.

And nothing could be so troubling for a parent than to send a child off to college. Our colleges and universities have been taken over by evil professors, who push the idea of socialism and liberalism, often mocking and criticizing any student who may have gone to college as a Christian. They are quickly targeted by teacher and fellow students alike.

I once made a public comment that I personally considered more humorous than anything. However, the backlash was so toxic that I immediately knew I had struck a chord of truth more accurately than even I realized:

“As a parent, you scrimp and save, shopping at Goodwill and buying Great Value brands in order to start saving money for your kids for college. You raise your child in the best way possible, making them a grounded, well adjusted, well behaved young adult. Four years later, the college sends you back a blue-haired, face pierced, tattooed, antisemitic, liberal, nonconformist who spends the next 20 years living in your basement.”

As I said, this to me was humor; however they complete breakdown of liberals told me this was more true than even I realized.

I Could Go On and On

I don’t have to keep expounded on these things, but the point is clear. This world is no longer the world we lived in even 7 years ago. And I for one am tired of it. I for one am over it. There is nothing on the face of this earth that has any appeal for me whatsoever. I am not phased by the glamour and riches. I’ve had money, and I’ve been broke. Money is better, but neither one contribute to my inner peace and happiness.

We imprison ourselves inside what we call our home. But it’s not a home, it is a very nice, well furnished, loaded with toys, prison cell. We have security cameras, warning signs, security services, dogs and weapons in order to protect ourselves. As I write this there are contractors at work in my yard, installing a chain link fence.

This is rural Kentucky. When I was a child, we moved. We bought a house in Chattaroy, West Virginia. The homeowners didn’t give us a key to the new house, because they didn’t have a key to the house! Because I remember a time when people simply didn’t lock their doors. I remember a time when people left their car keys in the car, so they wouldn’t lose them.

No, this is not the world of 7 years ago, which only illustrates what the Bible says, we are wanderers on this land. Just as the Israelites spent 40 years wandering the deserts of what is now Saudi Arabia, we are just passing through this land on our way home.

I personally feel the concrete is starting to set. People are so entrenched in their views they no longer look for truth, they look for information that already affirms what they want to believe. I will continue to write Echoes and Origins, although there is already enough information right on this site to convince someone not only of the existence of God, but to convince them the last days are winding down to a precious few.

Psalms 34 is The Shelter We Can Take Refuge In

As part of my regular Bible study, today I read Psalm 34. God has put it on my heart to share this with you.

Psalm 34,
Of David. When he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he left.

¹ I will extol the LORD at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.
² I will glory in the LORD;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
³ Glorify the LORD with me;
let us exalt his name together.
⁴ I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
⁵ Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
⁶ This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.
⁷ The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.
⁸ Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
⁹ Fear the LORD, you his holy people,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
¹⁰ The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
¹¹ Come, my children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
¹² Whoever of you loves life
and desires to see many good days,
¹³ keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from telling lies.
¹⁴ Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
¹⁵ The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry;
¹⁶ but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
to blot out their name from the earth.
¹⁷ The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
¹⁸ The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
¹⁹ The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all;
²⁰ he protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.
²¹ Evil will slay the wicked;
the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
²² The LORD will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. – Psalms 34 NIV

This Psalm, oddly enough comes from a perilous time in David’s life. David had fled from Saul, who was trying to kill him over jealously. David flees to Gath, a Philistine city ruled by King Achish.

When Achish’s servants recognize David as the famous warrior ‘who killed his tens of thousands’, David fears for his life. He pretends to be insane, scribbling on floors and drooling on his beard; the king believes David is a madman.

In this Psalm, David demonstrates his dependence on God, rather than complaining about his predicament. The psalm then becomes David’s testimony: He sought the Lord and was delivered from his fears, even though he resorted to desperate tactics to survive among enemies.

⁴ I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
⁵ Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
⁶ This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.

David starts off with his own testimony, stating he was in trouble, and the first thing he did was seek God’s help. We see someone very different from the rest of us here. This is a man who God Himself called “a man after my own heart”. What an accolade! But here is a key to his mentality; when he faces trials and problems, he doesn’t complain, but he seeks God, and expects God to answer him. And God does.

Then David shifts from giving us his narrative of what happened to him, and gives us God’s promises that we can use in the face of our trials. Living in this day and age is enough to cause any person, Christian or not, severe anxiety, and paralyzing fear. But this is the time to remember David’s faith and more importantly, God’s promises.

“Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame”

Those who depend on God, those who turn to him in their times of trouble will never face the shame of being let down. No matter what trials you’re facing, no matter how badly your situation is, this is a powerful promise: God will never let your trust in him make you feel ashamed.

⁷ The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.
⁸ Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
⁹ Fear the LORD, you his holy people,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
¹⁰ The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

David then tells us to what extent the Lord will go to in order to insure that his chosen ones are protected. He tells us that the angel of the Lord surrounds us and delivers us. What more would we ever need? According to the Bible, in one night, an angel of the Lord kills 185,000 Assyrians soldiers. Our troubles, our enemies are no match for even one angel! (2 Kings 19:35, Isaiah 37:36)

“Taste and see that the Lord is good;” David is telling us, ‘try it, try and see’: Trust the Lord your God and depend on him in times of trouble, make God your refuge, and he assures us that God will not let us down. The lions, the most fearsome predator that walks the wild, that predator may grow weak from hunger; but those who seek God will never experience lack.

David is making a clear comparison: in effect, he is saying, ‘even the lions may get to the point where they can’t take care of themselves, but those who depend on the Lord to take care of them lack nothing.‘ And isn’t this true? There may be times when we have gone without something we thought we needed at the time, or God may have worked out a problem for us in a way other than what we were expecting, but God always comes through for those who put their trust in him.

What is Our Role?

So that is the question, what is it we have to do in order to receive the blessings that were obviously intended for the Jewish people under the law of Moses at that time? The answer is nothing: We are not required to do anything in order to receive these promises. In this passage, David gives us a list of instructions, does that mean we have to follow those things in order to receive God’s protection?

No, a thousand times no! As a Christian, you are living under the blood of Christ. You have been redeemed from the curse of the law? What is the curse of the law? The curses come upon us through disobedience. That is called sin; and we are redeemed from those curses.

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— ¹⁴ so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith. – Galatians 3:13-14 ESV

The promises and blessings of Abraham are to come up us through Jesus, not through our individual efforts or actions. In another place in the Bible we’re told we are joint heirs through Jesus and heirs according to the promise. What promise is that? The promises given to Abraham, and detailed to Moses. We don’t have to depend on our own behavior, our own efforts of righteousness, in order to secure the promises of the Old Testament!

This is as simple as I can put it: Because Jesus obeyed the law, without sin, he earned those promises through his obedience. But as we are joint heirs with Jesus, and heirs according to the promise, that means we rely through faith, on Jesus’ accomplished work in order to receive the promises of the Old Testament.

So take this passage: Study its promises until they get down into your heart. As you read, and confess them out loud they will become part of you. Just as the Bible says, revelation in God’s word brings faith. And once these verses become revelation to you, you can, just like David, call upon them with not only faith, but the confidence David had. You too, can become a man or woman after God’s own heart.

Let’s Talk: What Has Been On My Heart Lately

If the world hates you, if it despises all you stand for; if it mocks you, persecutes you and desires to kill you, then you must be doing something right.

Have you ever been sitting down watching the news and have the thought, “I think I’m the only sane person left.” You’re not alone: There seems to be the upside-down mentality, where good is bad, and light is dark. If that sound familiar to you, you’re remembering Isaiah 5:20:

²⁰ Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter!
²¹ Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
and shrewd in their own sight!
²² Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine,
and valiant men in mixing strong drink,
²³ who acquit the guilty for a bribe,
and deprive the innocent of his right! – Isaiah 5:20-23 ESV

NOTE: I want to stress, this is my opinion. There is something very strange going on, strange even for the time in which we live. Other watchmen are reporting the same thing. I am urging you, please. Do not put this off any longer. If you still haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, now is the time.

As the world grows more ignorant of Christ’s return, it becomes more obvious of their duplicity. People would like to pretend there is nothing strange or odd happening these days. But the truth is beginning in 2020, the entire world began experiencing a drastic change. COVID 19 not only brought fear and panic to the world, but showed us that life is much more frail than we have been admitting. No disease was more unpredictable, more random and more cunning than COVID.

For one person, the symptoms resembled a mild cold. Some people had COVID and experienced no symptoms whatsoever. Others died. I had COVID twice; once was like a 24 hour virus that left me stuffy and achy but was gone by the next morning. The other was so mild it resembled allergies. But a few people I knew personally died from COVID. It all seemed so frightening at the time.

As the years ticked by, the world slowly, steadily went insane. People thought it was fair to let biological men compete in sports with women. “Trans” became it’s own brand of hypocrisy; changing your gender became as easy as changing your mind. And everyone began expecting the ludicrous to be taken as normal. We were asked to use she as a pronoun for a man, we were asked to use they to reference a single person.

And in some places in the world gone crazy, people were fired from their jobs for refusing to drink the Kool-Aid. In other countries, simply refusing to use woke pronouns could get you fined by the government. And the insanity didn’t end there.

Children were allowed to identify as trans, and be taken out of their homes if parents didn’t give into the far left radical liberal demands. Think about that: A child, who the government says isn’t responsible enough to drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, or participate in sexual activity were allowed to make decisions that would affect them for the rest of their lives.

Children were given puberty blocking drugs, that permanently compromised the body’s ability to change a child into an adult. After some of these kids came off the drugs, puberty did restart, however these changes were muted and to this day those adults are permanently scarred from the procedure.

The Truth May Hurt, But It’s Rarely Fatal

Here is the absolute bottom line: You are free to live your life any way you see fit to live it. If you were born a man and you want to pretend to be female (which is essentially what you are doing), that is up to you. God gave you the right to live your life they way you want to live it, and frankly I don’t believe I have the right to take that away from you. But when you begin to insist I indulge in your fantasy by using ‘personal pronouns’ you are asking me to lie. I will not do that; period. No person will force me to, no government will force me to. And just as I have to accept your personal choices, you are going to have to accept mine.

When Evil Was Exchanged for Good

And one of the biggest myths of my lifetime was handed to the mainstream media and in what was one of the most obviously planned episodes in America, antisemitism took off much like COVID 19 did. The Biden Administration in what was nothing short of a plot to destroy the United States, opened the borders and our colleges to illegal immigrants without any type of vetting process. Thousands of young Palestinian agitators came to our country posing as college students.

But their goal had nothing to do with education. Instead, they began poisoning young minds all over the country with this myth of genocide. Despite three separate investigations carried out by the United Nations (a VERY antisemitic group in its own right), no evidence was found to support the allegations of genocide. But as Joseph Goebbels once said:

“A lie told once remains a lie; but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth” – Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda, NAZI Party.

So these Palestinians sowed havoc in our colleges and Jew hating became not only tolerated, but became fashionable in the world of the depraved. Jew hating. Think about that phrase. Doesn’t it seem dirty, as something that shouldn’t be said. Sometimes I think antisemitism is too kind of a word for the thoughts and actions of those who simply hate Jews.

“For the last 2,000 years, every generation has had an excuse to hate Jews. Genocide against Palestine is this generation’s excuse, nothing more.” – Me.

Islam, a religion that was spread by the sword of a mad, war monger was embraced world-wide, while Christianity grew to be hated. Again, think about this: Three major religions in the world today. But let’s look at two of them:

One religion says that we must destroy the infidels. It calls for Jihad, which technically means struggle, but to the participants of this religion, means the day in which the infidels will be destroyed to make way for a world-wide regime. It says that women are made for the pleasure of men, and treats women like so much property. It says that fathers and husbands have the right to punish their women for disobedience and even engage in ‘honor’ killings if their women bring dishonor upon them.

This religion performs, ‘female circumcision’, a process in which the clitoris is cut away, limiting a women’s ability to experience pleasure. This is done to ‘keep women faithful’, according to this ‘peaceful’ religion.

Another religion promotes love. Its leader said, ‘love thy neighbor as thyself’. The leader also said to love your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you. This religion promotes helping the poor, to the point of stating that a person with two coats should give one to the person who has none. It stresses giving away excess money and keeping enough to satisfy your own needs.

This religion goes so far as to demand you love your fellow man. It says if you hate your fellow man, whom you have seen, how can you love God whom you haven’t seen? This religion urges people to respect the laws of the land in which we live and even to respect our leaders regardless of how much we disagree with them.

Now, guess which one is embraced and dubbed the ‘religion of peace’ and which religion is hated all over the world. Guess which religion countries are imposing laws against, whose participants are being killed, jailed, fined and persecuted?

But this is exactly what Jesus told us would happen in the last days. He told us in advance that the world would hate and reject us, because first they hated and rejected him. If you ever needed proof Christianity is the one true religion this is it. Look at everything going on in the world. Rampant drug use, casual sex, partying, living for nothing but a good time. People killing one another over the most asinine of excuses. Violence rampant in the streets. People jailing themselves in their own homes in order to be safe from the world.

This is the same group that embraces Islam and hates Christianity. I have a very good and worthy saying:

“The best way to judge someone is by looking at who their enemies are”

If the world hates you, if it despises all you stand for; if it mocks you, persecutes you and desires to kill you, then you must be doing something right.

Proving Christianity Among the Big Three

I think it’s time. Charlie Kirk died because he wasn’t afraid to publicly pronounce the truth. When he died, I swore to myself that never again would I bury the truth in order to avoid confrontation. Its time I lived up to the promise. Pay close attention!

There is one event in the Bible that is acknowledged by all three religions; Judaism, Islam and Christianity. I plan to use that event to prove to you that only Christianity passes the test and only Christianity is the one, true religion:

The “Akedah” As a Scriptural Study

The Akedah refers to the ‘binding of Isaac’ or the time when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. First let’s take a Biblical look at this passage. For this study, I’m going to rely on the New King James Version of the Bible, because I feel it offers the best available translation into English, while keeping the meaning as close as possible to the original Hebrew. You will probably just browse through this, but I urge you to read every word:

¹ Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”
And he said, “Here I am.”
² Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
³ So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. ⁴ Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. ⁵ And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”
⁶ So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. ⁷ But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!”
And he said, “Here I am, my son.”
Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
⁸ And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.
⁹ Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. ¹⁰ And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
¹¹ But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!”
So he said, “Here I am.”
¹² And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
¹³ Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. ¹⁴ And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide [Yahweh‑Yireh” often rendered “Jehovah Jireh”];as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”
¹⁵ Then the Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, ¹⁶ and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son— ¹⁷ blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. ¹⁸ In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” ¹⁹ So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba. – Genesis 22:1-19 NKJV

What a stirring passage of Scripture! But let’s tear this apart, see how it fits in Islam and Judaism, and finally what it means to Christianity.

To the Jews: Jews celebrate this passage of Scripture for the example of faith that Abraham showed to God and as the point of blessing that God gave to Abraham and as descendants, to the Jewish people as a whole. Others would argue that God had already made this same covenant with Abraham, and this is nothing but a mean and cruel God imposing his will on a human he already knew would do anything God asked.

Philosophical and skeptical readers argue that if God is omniscient and had already sworn covenant promises (Genesis 12, 15, 17), then asking for Isaac’s sacrifice adds no new information and only inflicts terror and trauma. And the truth is, they have a point.

To the Muslims: First of all, Muslims contend that it was Ishmael, Abraham’s firstborn, who was taken to be sacrificed, not Isaac. They hold that this was the moment when Allah confirmed Abraham’s faith and sealed a special promise to the Arabs and to the descendants of Ishmael forever. But the reverse is also true: others will argue that this narrative portrays Allah as cruel and sadistic, forcing Abraham into a choice that no truly good God would demand—between obedience to his God and the life of his beloved son.

And Finally, To The Christian: The whole meaning of the Akedah is turned right-side up. God had given the world to man: In the beginning Adam was given dominion, or total control of the earth and everything in it. God had leased, if you will, the earth to mankind. And as long as man held the lease, God was unable to interfere in man’s ways.

But in Christianity, the Akedah makes sense. It closes the loop. Here we have an example of a man, Abraham, who is willing to sacrifice his only son whom he loves, Isaac to God. That act, closes the loop and opens the door for God to give his son as a sacrifice for man. Jesus, the lamb of God. What does Abraham tell Isaac moments before the Akedah? “God will provide for Himself a lamb for the burnt offering”. Christianity is the one true religion, because only Christianity holds the answer to the riddle of the Akedah.

Judaism was the only way to approach God before Jesus came. One had to obey the laws of the Old Testament. Nowhere in the Bible did it say that you had to be born to Abraham, but you had to obey the law and conduct the sacrifices. Once Jesus died on the cross, the Old Testament, the law and regulations passed away. Now, there is only one way to God, and that is through his son Jesus the Messiah.

You don’t have to go to heaven if you don’t want to; but if you do, you have to do it God’s way. Heaven is his home and going there means you follow his rules and not your own. Once you die, you become a spirit being and you no longer have your earthly authority. Therefore, your decision must be made before you die. A sinful soul cannot enter heaven. It’s not that God doesn’t want you, it’s that you cannot enter heaven in sin. God made a place for Satan and his angels because they are no longer permitted in heaven. And that’s where you will go if you die in your sins, and you will have no one to blame but yourself.

In Conclusion:

The day before yesterday I was in the kitchen loading the dishwasher. As I often do, I was praying and talking to God while working. I was praying that God would remember me, and remember my family when the rapture happens. I said something to the effect of “Lord I don’t want to be left behind,” and I heard in my spirit the voice of the Lord. While I couldn’t hear it with my physical ears, it was just like an inner shout inside me.

“You’re not going to be left behind”

That would have been nothing more than a personal comfort to me, except for the fact that the tone was more of an urgency. More like God asking me to move on, and start praying about other things. This morning, I was watching another watchmen on YouTube and he virtually said he had the same experience, that he was getting a sense of urgency about him. Then we have the fourth meteor in in 7 days, this time over Toledo, Ohio, another major city in America.

And I have to ask myself, ‘what is going on?’
